Candidacy Declarations: January 2019 General Election

This January, The North Pacific will be electing a Delegate, Vice Delegate, Speaker, and Attorney General to serve until the next election in May. Any Citizen who has been a member for the last 15 days (since December 16, 2018) is eligible to run for these offices excepting that Siwale is unable to run for Delegate due to term limitations, and eligible members may run for more than one of these offices if they so wish. Loss of Citizenship before the conclusion of this election will also result in loss of eligibility to run for any office during this election. A list of those eligible to run is provided below.

To run, one must either accept a nomination or declare candidacy in this thread. To withdraw from running, one must post a withdrawal of candidacy in this thread.

Acceptances of nominations, declarations of candidacy, and withdrawals of candidacy posted outside this thread will be discounted. Acceptance of a nomination is understood to also constitute declaration of candidacy even if no nomination has been made. Acceptances of nominations, declarations of candidacy, and withdrawals of candidacy must be posted during the candidacy declaration period to be valid. The candidacy declaration period is from 12 PM (noon) EST January 1, 201 to 12 PM (noon) EST January 4, 2019. Voting will be approximately from 12 PM (noon) EST January 6, 2019 to 12 PM (noon) EST January 11, 2019.

12 PM (noon) EST is:
9 AM PST
10 AM MST
11 AM CST
5 PM GMT
6 PM CET
7 PM EET
1 AM AWST the next day
4 AM AEDT the next day

I am honored by the nominations for Delegate and graciously accept. I'm afraid I will have to decline the Vice Delegate nomination.

For good measure I would like to nominate Artemis and SillyString for Speaker.
