Map Discussion Thread

Syrixia:
Piscivore:
Sadakoyama would just call the whole thing "The North Pacific" and refer to specific locations by their USDKY PNA (Planetary Navigation Array) Coordinates
Well, remember, technically the proper name for the entire world would be Eve.
I did not know that.

It was decided in the OOC thread for the Future RP.

I always considered there was plenty of 'uncharted territory / waters' around the TNP map, but that outside that zone would be other 'regions' in existence that we don't quite have lore regarding other than vague references that they exist and there has been contact or transit links. Basically we're here in our region and our RP centers on our region, but we have WA delegates and other regions exist but play little into our RP currently... they're like a vague notion of others... you know... out that way *waves hand in a direction*

The Regional Assembly and the Delegacy, as well as the entire TNP Executive Staff, from nearly every source I've heard from on the matter, are completely OOC and do not remotely exist in the TNP roleplay world. Same goes for the North Pacific Army.

Pretty much. I believe that's how TEP operated until recently, when they started interacting with Great Diensted, which is an old and storied RP region.

Darcania:
Is this it?
True Sebland:
Hey I would like to claim the land below andulus
It's his only claim after he asked to be removed from the map.

That is far too big a claim. I can give you most of that, but not all.

If I may request; Seb, if you can, could you not claim the southernmost point of that land? That is where Delia Point, my future exclave, is going to be. I will be formally sending in a claim for it after the Great War Saga ends.

That's where I wanted to have Litge city my 3rd biggest city and where loads of tourists go !

True Sebland should get priority here.

Sure. Also, first claims get priority over exclaves/colonies/whatever else you're going to call them.

True, Nierr. Let's see what happens, and if True Sebland does wind up claiming the southern point I'll put my colony elsewhere. I'd prefer to have the southern point be part of my colony, but what happens happens. I'm just making a request. :)

Not to bother you but I have another unrelated question. Considering Syrixia's Rhuvanland, would one be able to put a puppet on the map which isn't related to their nation at all if RPed correctly?

That'd be fine, so long as it was used in RP.

I think I'd also require it to go on one of the new continents though...

Okay, thanks.

The cross-regional stuff was pure randoms but I was thinking of Kannex and Rhuvanland when I asked the second question. Rhuvanland puppet-wise and Kannex culture-wise.
It's making me consider a Spanish nation.

I was actually planning to RP Pelhafor as a Spanish-speaking country, but my Spanish is nowhere that good yet.

I currently do Spanish but I'd need my book to even consider doing any Spanish. I've also chosen to do Spanish for GCSE so i should probably start to not need my book.

Posiblemente, puedo ayudarle a hablar español. Hablo un poco español, pero no mucho.

Just because you are role-playing a Spanish-speaking country doesn't mean you need to post in Spanish. When I need to have Sanya and Oliver speak German in Rhuvanland, I'm going to use the comic book convention: "<<This is in German>>"

Delia Point will probably have a more Welsh culture.

@Sadakoyama: Or you could use Google translate for German. I do.

Google Translate tends to be inaccurate for anything more than single words. Plus, you run the risk of the other people in the RP having no idea what you're saying, which can be an issue if it's an important detail that they should know OOCly. It's just my opinion though, no need to go spreading it around.
