Future RP: Who's Interested?

That'd be kinda cool, but don't they name planets right when they're discovered? It would be hard to name all the planets simultaneously via an astronomical meeting.
 
The Romans named the first five and they stuck in European languages. Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto took years to decide on. So our different cultures could have different names and we could work out which set works best.
 
I'd like to join the RP. Xentherida is quite an advanced nation, and we're always looking for new resources to harvest. I'd probably take the asteroids and mine the minerals from them, then ship 'em back to TNP. Probably sell them for a profit.
However, we may come in slightly later, as with the colonization of planets by other countries may lead us to developing a much more powerful and efficient fuel, to get the more distant planets.
 
Please, gentlemen, there will be time for this sort of discussion later.

I'll leave the poll up for another 24 hours or so.
 
Results are in:
Tied with 7 votes each are Ocean Planet, TNP Mars, TNP Saturn, Binary Planets, Asteroid Field, and Comets. All of these are guaranteed a place in the TNP Solar System.
Tied with 6 votes each are TNP Mercury, TNP Venus, and Greenland-Style Planet. These will also be integrated into the Solar System, unless major objections are raised.
Tied with 5 votes each are TNP Jupiter, TNP Uranus, and Uranus-Neptune Combination. Some debate will have to take place concerning whether we'll have TNP Uranus & Neptune, the combination, or even both.
And tied at 4 we have TNP Neptune and Dwarf Planets. Discussions will have to take place concerning both of these.
 
So we need names for the Ocean Planet, TNP Mars, TNP Saturn, Binary Planets, TNP Mercury, TNP Venus, and Greenland-Style Planet. We could also add names to the Asteroid Field, and Comets.

And I believe for the TNP planet we are running with Pacifica, yes?
 
I am open to also adding in something related to Uranus/Neptune. There is a theory being studied that the gas giants protected the inner planets from space debris so having more of them might make some sense.
 
I personally want a "dwarf planet". I have a grudge on the stupid demotion by a certain space organization.

I'm still fighting for a dwarf planet.
 
Dwarf planets will most likely not be involved in this RP, so we can discuss them during the RP. (Don't worry, I have hopes for a few dwarf planets too.)
