I'm off for the night. When I get back if I see South Cronaal under Merconian control the NPTO subforum and the Helmebaine thread will be ripe with discussion. :P
 
Here's an idea. How about we have a North Cronaal/Merconian force fight against a South Cronaal/Syrixian force and the latter can lose? Boom, we have our Vietnam. Plus, the loss of the "Germany" will make things all the more dramatic and allow us to forge our own path in this Cold War.
 
You know how much he hates even the slightest damage to his national security. :) He probably would be pleased to hear that he could sit on Pelhafor for a while longer before the communist tides overwhelm him.
 
True dat. So, how are we gonna do this without directly fighting each other?
 
North Cronaal and Merconitonitopia vs. Syrixia. Nebula refrains from directly fighting, just like in the actual Vietnam.
 
Sounds good, as long as the fighting stays in South Cronaal.

Anyways, then, what're we gonna do about the Germany thing? There'll be nothing to reunite with a Syrixian loss in Cronaal.
 
Yes, but Cro knows Merc outside of NS and he wants his nation to be a Merconian protectorate. So where do we look?
 
That'll have a lesser effect overall because the socialists would only recently revolt.

Chester knew he couldn't do it, he couldn't protect Cronaal with the entire military basically gone at this point, so he gave Cronaal to Merconia.
 
I hope he realized his nation was in the region's largest military alliance.
 
You're fighting/observing Pelhafor on the other side of the region whilst Cronaal and Merconia are on other sides of the region with large landmasses between you and us. The threat was also imminent, the alliance would've been no help.
 
Also, if he had tried to scrape up significant resistance, North Cronaal would have begun mobilizing.
 
Yeah but this time we both support the same side. I did this so we have a false peace as tensions in Rhuvanland rise.
 
We won't be fighting directly, remember? Ho Chi Minh's forces were all his, the Soviets just backed him with arms exports. South Vietnam's forces were much smaller and had American backing.

Well, unless you wanna fight directly and have me back the Rhuvish government with arms exports, but we did that with Ryccia.

Or we could both fight directly and destroy the world. :lol:
 
I'll be releasing the Balamb Chronicle article today, in preparation for the War. Kannex should be here today, if what he said was right.

I, as you all can see, posted the thread. Let your international reactions pour in; tomorrow we really begin the fighting.

And remember, the rebels are supposed to win, but let's try and make this a nice, long, good war RP anyways. :)
