Factiods

Factoid: If your glass is big enough you can fit half a standard bottle of vodka in to it! .. Trust me on this! :pinch:

FActoid: "Going back to square one" is a phrase that originated from the game of Snakes and Ladders.

However, in snakes and ladders you cannot go back to square one; the furthest a snake will send you back is square two.

You've bin watchin' Balderdash and Piffle presented by the luvverly Victoria Coren, you have! ;)

Factoid: Fedele actually means 'god thunder' in Gooblukski, and obscure dialect of ancient Marack. Its rumoured that if spoken with enough conviction 'Fedele' can actually cause mountains to collapse, people to die instantly, and those small plastic bags to open without effort.

A myth, lost in the past, predicted the god thunder would return in human form in the last days of the world, either to (depending on which of the tribal customs you believe) lay waste to the world in preparation for the coming or the great dragon, or act as the avatar of small cans of processed meats.

Factoid: If you bring snow indoors it turns to water. If you return it outdoors, however, it does not revert to snow.

Factiod: I learned that (^) firsthand in a third grade experiment once. I stood outside in the rain with a bowl and then stuck the bowl in the freezer. I wasn't surprised at the result...just disappointed.
