What’s the deal with people in this election thinking it’s a good idea to post a campaign thread without actually having any campaign content included in it?

Like, I get that this is your guys’ first time running. I don’t mean to be harsh, really, welcome to election cycles in TNP! But again, pro tip: Don’t post a campaign thread until you actually have content to fill it out. Otherwise, simply having a thread here with nothing in it to offer does no one any good and makes your entire run look amateurish and incomplete
 
What have you done in the region to show we should trust you as head of one of our branches of government?

If a nation includes their pretitle in the citizenship application, is it acceptable?

What would make a region fail a citizenship application?

If someone, like New Francious applied for citizenship and posted everything correct, should they become a citizen?

Have you ever been a deputy speaker?

What stats are tracked on the citizen stat sheet?

Whats the proper time to wait from a motion to vote on a legislative bill to the time in which the vote should start?

Who, in your opinion, is the best and who is the worst Speaker in TNP?

What gets me is the difference in quality between this thread and the last one. So, Scottlanda/Nubt II, what lessons have you learned from your last go at elected office? You say you've been around for two years, but your account was only registered in March of this year. What have you been doing to cover the missing time?

1. I have served as a RA Representative for a lengthy period so far. I formerly served on the HA Executive Staff, currently on the Culture Staff.

3. A nation you mean? Lots of things, including their prefixes (this is a minor one, it may not result in rejection, just someone asking you to change it), using a proxy server. being a regional threat (decided by the VD), and having more than one account on the forum.

5. No, but if I lose, it would be a good oppurtunity for me.
6. The citizen's name, their TNP nation, their profile number, the date they joined, and their last forum activity.
7. OK, I don't really know the correct answer for this one. I'm thinking of 2 possible answers, but can't pick one.
8. Best is Robespierre, he had lots of fun project and improvements, worst would be, with all due respect, East Isles.
9. Fiji is a great addition to TNP's community, and could do a good job in almost everything. Definitely a no.

EDIT: Actually, now that I've talked with them, yes my advisors took the restoring 2 Robespierre ideas part from @Venicea's campaign. I sincerely apologize for this mistake, and my campaign team would like to assure you that this won't happen again. Campaign edited to include part's taken from @Venicea.

OK, yes this isn't my first time running, and yes I'm Scottlanda/Nubt II (I just changed the name to match my new nation). So, I have been around for 2 years in TNP, but only on the RMB, I never used the forum until May. Well, TBH, I learned the hard way. The really hard way. Over that period, I endured exile from my own old region, bans, ejections, and removals. And so, I kind of understood what a real North Pacifican campaign looks like. I observed other's (A example is that part of my campaign's ambitious ideas is observed from @Venicea) and learned from other members. I would really like to thank lots of you, because I learned a lot from watching you over time, It kind of... matured me from what I was before. My older rather cringy run as Scottlanda is from the past, and I look forwards to the future, of serving TNPers and helping out, even If I'm not elected. Thanks for asking, @Sil Dorsett!

Well... yes, and no. This may sound complicated, but I was born in Egypt, but spend most of my life here in the U.S., I've only been there 4 times, besides my birth. I do speak Arabic however.

No he isn't. There could be worse. And even if you think he was that bad, I believe that the process of recalling a Speaker should only be done when he has made a serious mistake that could result in destruction to TNP, other than that is a no.

2. How is your experience in a puppet storage with five residents, five embassies, five RMB posts, and almost no proper government going to be helpful in how you would administrate your duties as a Speaker?

I refuse to believe that more than one person is responsible for this “campaign.” Like, a team of people could not have looked this over and thought “Yeah, this is fine.”

Actually, some of them are high-rank officials, and I can't disclose their names without consent from them. They refused.

Why are you running for speaker?

How do you manage the citizen/resident sheet? Say someone is applies for citizenship, what do you write in the citizen/resident registry?

It was back when Artemis was Speaker. So it's obsolete, and wasn't even done at the correct time.

1. Everything you can imagine. The Speaker's desk is to be renovated, add new projects to teach and encourage people to get involved in their government, and to add new polls.

If you decide to not return to Speaker’s staff but have not served as a deputy or speaker, then who will help you get started and familiar with everything? Everyone would be new.

I'm very sorry, @Oracle. That isn't what I meant entirely, you are one of the best Speakers TNP has seen, what I meant is that @Comfed put up a old thread of someone trying to get Former Speaker Fiji (@El Fiji Grande) recalled. What I meant is that the person who created the thread wasn't paying attention that he posted it while you were Speaker, which made the attempts to get Fiji recalled obsolete. Not you. Sorry for the misunderstanding!

Good Question! I will take a different strategy however, unlike previous Speakers, if elected, I will not only teach my Deputies all I know, but I'll learn from them! I'll work on the stuff I don't know by learning, as everybody does. I'll also teach them the experience and qualities they may not have. My plan for appointing Deputies will be either 7 or 8 Deputies, and 3 or 4 of them already having past experience. I will disclose my picks later, however. Good question, though!

Hello Comrades,

Today, after knowing the people's opinion of my campaign, through polls and posts, I realize that I am now the third party candidate, which isn't a bad thing. I also realize that at this point myself winning the seat of Speaker is not likely, if likely at all. I even have a bleak chance of earning 5 votes. Which is why I'd also like to state that I am not afraid of loss, but of breaking my below promise:

I believe that the Speaker's office is the second most powerful position in TNP (after the Delegate), which is why I would completely accept it, and in fact be relieved, if the people of TNP decided I don't have the qualities for the job.

Which I completely stand by. I thought of conceding, or dropping out of this race, but I decided I'm not going to be the quitter who drops out after realizing he'll probably lose. And so, I'll stay in this election, but maybe not with the same enthusiasm as before. I again, would like to apologize on behalf of my Advisors Team for the plagiarism incident that has plagued my campaign. I will not however refuse a chance, if asked, to be a Deputy Speaker. After all, I still have lots to learn. I would still appreciate it if you give faith in me, using your vote.
