Despite your grossly incorrect premise that AJST Coire’s players are foreigners, I am going to argue that having foreign players actually improves the sports teams and the leagues.

Having these talented players come in to Saintonge allows them to share their expertise with our local players and to expose our local players to how players abroad play (crucial for international duty). More importantly, they raise the bar and standards that all players must strive to reach – ultimately improving local talent. Just look at how ice hockey improved in Saintonge with the influx of Hessunlanders and Prydanians.

My ministry, the Ministry of Culture and Sport, has been continuously working with the different Santonian sports leagues to ascertain the number of foreign players that teams could allow in order to improve the leagues, and to attract and develop good talent.

@JÉGenêt, you are conflating naturalised immigrants and their descendants as still being foreigners, despite them having been Santonian for a long time, and in many cases, all their lives. Doing so reeks of the xenophobia and anti-immigrant sentiment that had been blossoming in the Radical Party.

Don’t make your own definitions on who is a foreigner and who is a Santonian. The Ministry of Culture and Sport and the Santonian sports leagues look at CITIZENSHIP to determine who is a foreigner and who is a Santonian. It’s as simple as that.

People like @JÉGenêt and opinions like his are unneeded in society right now. My surname hints that somewhere up in my ancestry, there was foreign blood there. But my family have lived in Saintonge for generations and we consider ourselves Santonian. I had never been anything but a Santonian, but there are rare times that I still get remarks for my ‘foreign-sounding’ surname.

I imagine it would be even more difficult for the more recent arrivals, those who were born in a foreign country and had to adapt and adopt to Saintonge. The last thing we need are some nativist xenophobes telling immigrants they don’t belong to the country that they have adopted and loved.

Them being Prydanians, Prediceans, Hessunlanders… that is a part of them. But them being Santonians – it’s a choice they’ve made. The fact that they chose Saintonge speaks volumes about their love for this country. And we, Santonians who are lucky to be born in this great country, should appreciate and welcome them for loving something that’s a part of us, something that we sometimes take for granted.

I was brought to Saintonge as sick infant, suffering from the Hessunlander famine. Saintonge fed and clothed me and treated me like its own. I’ve since become a citizen, served in the national service, and I am now playing for the Santonian Men’s National Ice Hockey Team.

4. Is resident in the electoral circumscription from which s/he is elected.

tl;dr – all National Assembly deputies MUST be Santonian citizens.

I am sorry that I had to abruptly end the stream on just short notice earlier today. I had gotten an Emergency Alert on my phone showing a tornado warning, and I didn't want to leave the stream going in case of technical difficulties that could've been encountered with the bad storms that came through. Luckily, nothing happened to me or my family and friends, and we are all fine. I did lose internet for a few hours, but that was the worst of the things to befall me. I will keep those who were badly affected by the storm in my mind as we continue on with our lives. With that being said, tomorrow's stream will still be on-time barring any technical difficulties that could happen because of the storm.

The Tristainese are unhappy with their place in Cimmeria. Cimmeria must have done something with Tristain that's why the Tristainese are unhappy and are demanding independence. Cimmeria must address it adequately, or they should just set Tristain free.

I'm so happy the storms were not as bad as anticipated. Many people could've been put in harm's way by it if a tornado actually happened. Thankfully, the only bad things that happened to me were a broken windchime and ruined gardening plans.
