After a standard performance by Sist Krincaster in the last season of the Ulstome Seapion Ligithe, which despite coming in 4th place, an improvement compared to last years finish in 5th, was not considered good enough by the clubs manager Bernard Varson who had hoped for the team to have finished in the top 3. This would of meant avoiding the qualifying round and allowed Sist Krincaster a better opportunity for success in the Champions Cup through an automatic qualification.

When approached for a statement as the team prepared to head for their first game against Saito Hale from Skanda Bernard responded in his usual bluntness "We will win, as long as we do better than Sost Krincaster I could not be happier.". The Ulstome club had not been lazying about in the time before their upcoming game, they had been training hard and worked on improving their faults which had resulted in their loses in league games. Their strengths had not been neglected either, the team was well known for its strong and well coordinated set piece plays that had secured it crucial goals in numerous close matches, but it was not just the set piece plays they had a particular strength for, the teams defence is particularly strong with the midfield and defenders working close to tighten around any gaps so that attacks were often being shut down before they could get to close to the box.

These strengths have been honed over the many years Bernard has been the manager of the team, improving the younger players to fit in with those more experienced to create a flexible team that was strong on both defence and offence. These strengths are suggested to be what will make or break the teams chances of success, through denial and opportunity, shots and blocks, goals and concedes, this team wants to win, to out perform their rivals Sost Krincaster who had come 2nd in the Ulstome Seapion Ligithe and to show off their hard work to the world.

The usual lineup of the Sist Krincaster team during their last season was a 4-4-2 formation, with their captain Toston effectively leading the team and inspiring its players, accompanied by Milner, Zalza and Nicroson forming a experienced and formidable defence infront of their goalkeeper Etron. Further up in the midfield is Menlo, Desford, Tumon and Certlon. Although the newest member of the squad having been bought from Wrysea, Certlon soon began to fit into the team and began to play as if he had been there for years, bringing in his experience from other clubs to further his own ability and compliment the others on the team through his quick movements down the wings both to support the defenders and set up an attack. Lastly are the two strikers, the youngest player age wise on the team Hollerford although he has played several years for the team after moving up from the youth team, and their star striker O'Irin, with international experience through his position on the Ulstome national team and co-ordination with Hillerson, Monlo and Desford making him a major threat upfront. This is the team most expected to play in the Champions Cup, with its excellent performance in the Ulstome Seapion Ligithe and its players strong co-ordination with one another it is not a team to be underestimated.

TWO GOALS ONE WIN
Written by David Kaminlo

As the full time whistle blew on Sist Krincaster's home grounds it would be clear to anyone watching of the joy and happiness expressed by both the players and the fans alike who had come out in countless scores for the teams first game in the Champions Cup. The match marked the first game of Group 4 and Sist Krincaster could not be disappointed with their performance at home. The match began to the sounds of the fans of both teams shouting and chanting their support.

The Sist Krincaster team started the game by sending the ball down the left hand side to Monlo as they began to test their opponents right from the start by going for an early attempt on goal. When Monlo tried to get past the defence to attempt a cross into the box they were shut down and they lost possession. When the team got back the ball not long after in the first half they slowed down the pace of the game from their initial quick attempt at a goal and instead they now were holding on to the ball in their half, building it up from the back as they sought to try and break apart the positioning of the Saitō Hale team early on in the half. Other than when the Ulstome team would try occasionally at an attempt on goal they seemed more than content whenever they had possession to just hold onto it and pass it around the team and buy their time until they would be able to get a good opportunity to score. One such opportunity came near the end of the first half when a cross into the far side of the box by Certlon went over the heads of everyone it only to be connected after a bounce by Monlo's foot, sending the ball back into the box for a shot by Hollerford. The shot was on target for the bottom left hand corner of the goal but was deflected just before it went in and instead of a goal it went out for a corner. Like they had in their league games the Sist Krincaster team got themselves all into position as they had done in many games before as they waited for Monlo to take the corner. The ball flew high over the box to be met by Nicroson's head which sent the all into the mass of players that were gathered in the box. Shot after shot was taken, none scoring a goal but always finding its way back to the feet of another Sist Krincaster player until a shot by the star striker O'Irin placed itself firmly in the back of the net. The first goal of the game in the 41st minute.

Sist Krincaster 1 - 0 Saitō Hale
The score stayed the same as the first half ended, the pressure was no longer on Sist Krincaster, they were in the lead and where sure to not let up in the 2nd half.

The 2nd half was a much different game by Sist Krincaster than the first half, most likely after some blunt words by manager Bernard Varson in the changing rooms, either good or disappointed, most likely a mix of them both. They came out with a much more serious attitude than they had during the first half, as could be seen as they played, the team was much more aggressive that had been previously, putting much more pressure on their opponents as it seemed the Sist Krincaster team had only the goal of widening the goal difference. They weren't slowly building up at the back as they had been before, they were determined to score another a goal so they made long passes, quickly dribbled forward to cover ground before sending through balls down the centre or on the wings that would quickly lead into crosses and attempts to score yet another goal as the team chipped away at their opponents, pressuring them to make mistakes. One such mistake came in the 78th minute where Hollerford intercepted a pass between the defenders, after running into the box he gave a pass as O'Irin had positioned himself in a better position to shoot from. The easily ball flew into the top left corner making the second goal of the match.

Sist Krincaster 2 - 0 Saitō Hale
With the momentum of the game firmly in their hands they tried again and again to increase their lead, to score at least one more goal. But that wasn't to be the case, despite both teams giving an excellent performance neither scored any more goals. When the final whistle blew it was Sist Krincaster 2 - 0 Saitō Hale. A good start for what will surely be a long and difficult road for the team. Now they must look upon their performance and prepare for their next away game, to win that and all the others that will come after.

Sist Krincaster Through To Group Stage

After qualifying in fourth position in the Ulstome Seapion Ligithe the teams journey through the CEFA Champions Cup had begun. The teams finish as fourth in its domestic league had meant that it had failed to automatically qualify for the CEFA Champions Cup, but the team still had its chance to qualify if it could make it through the Second Qualifying round against other equally good teams who would all be trying to seize the top spot of the group. The team had approached its first hurdle in what would be a long journey. Drawn into group 4 against Vasyl Mykytovych and FK Saitō Hale, the Ulstome team was ready to win. The first three games of the group had filled the fans and team alike with confidence and excitement as they qualified with three straight wins one after the other giving them the garenteed number 1 spot of group 4. Bernard Varson following the teams third win gave a short statement which had said "They have done well, they have won game after game, I am proud of my team." Using the garenteed number 1 spot in the group, Varson had switched up the Sist Krincaster team for their final group game. Many of the teams players who had played all three previous games had been brought off the final games lineup in order to ensure they were properly rested for the upcoming group stages aswell as allowing those who had not yet played a game to have sometime on the pitch. The final game had not gone well for the fresh players, Sist Krincaster having scored up to 5 goals in their previous wins had lost their final qualifying game against Vasyl Mykytovych 1-0. If this loss in their final qualifying game has demotivated the Sist Krincaster team then it is not showing at all, rather it seems to have further motivated the team to perform better and win their group.

The team was drawn into group B and it won't be an easy group to beat. With their first game of the group away against FV Kallmö '98 at 98 Parka we are all wondering how will Sist Krincaster play? Will the team slow the game down and buy its time building up at the back and waiting to get the set pieces which it excels at? Or will the team focus on getting the ball down the wings to keep itself on the offensive? We have to see what the team will do in its first group game.

The Lancers Charge

Having finished in first position of the Ulstome Seapion Ligithe last season, and an excellent performance of its players in the Ulstome national team in its recent games against Oclusia and Ponterre, Rotslo is not a club to be underestimated. With a strong, quick and creative team the players from Rotslo have dominated the midfield of many of their league games allowing them to get their ball to the forwards and present them with excellent opportunities to score. "The Lancers" that is the Rotslo teams nickname and much like their nickname the Rotslo team is fast and devastating in their plays, holding onto possession to create opportunities for the rest of the team to create a quick aggressive play towards goal.

Much like the Ulstome national team that many of the Rotslo lineup is apart of, Rotslo uses a 3-4-1-2 formation. The tallest player of the team, the Rotslo starting goalkeeper Stocker stands at 6 feet 5 inches. Infront of him in the defence stands Skou, Smil and Grich. In the midfield stands the strong Rotslo Midfield of Opsal, Monkin, Homfra and Ojlan. In front of them Sinlason reinforces the strikers Monlerin and Vard in securing strong opportunities for goal.

With the teams first game of Group G against Trier FC coming up the team will be training hard to ensure a strong first win is achieved to put them on a good path for the rest of the group games.

The Bees Get Ready To Sting

Sost krincaster, the team that proudly finished 2nd in the Ulstome Seapion Ligithe last season has always been a team that was a tough nut to crack. The 4-2-3-1 formation the team uses to shut down opponents offences and hold onto possession to create opportunities for offences. "The Bees" as Sost Krincaster is known as due to the yellow and black stripped kit they wear is a team that likes to hold onto the ball, building up the play between the defence and midfield and slowly breaking part their opponents formation. On defence the team heavily pressures their opponents and works to limit run and pass options. With Frinma in goal, Iskan and Kon are the teams centre backs with full backs Bendel and Possmon making up the defence. Darsmnlo and Riston act as defensive midfielders, Ivason and Zickmer on the wings with Mason in the centre. Up front with an excellent goal record with the Ulstome national team is Frederickson.

KJUNO9V.png

The teams first match of group F is against Taponier FC is away at Stade Bonneau. The team could be seen practising corners over the last few days in the lead up to the game, corners where they can get more shirts into the box then the team usually does could make all the difference in the teams international games.

Turning of Fortunes
Rotslo FC got off to a poor start in the CEFA champions cup. Their first game at home in Nua Rotslo ended disastrously with a 4-1 defeat to Trier FC from Highton, despite an early goal in the game by Monlerin and a determined defence by the back three, the Rotslo team lost control of the match and was left on the back foot as Trier FC scored goal after goal after goal and gave the Lancers no chance to strike back. Many thought this early defeat at home would be the start of the end for top Ulstome team with many seeing such a defeat as ruinous for the teams morale.

Despite many observers believing that this would be the start of a poor performance by the Ulstome team but by viewing the fierce training and the passionate praise of the team which came from its manager David Gonson you would think they had won decisively. In the time between their first defeat and their upcoming second game of the CEFA champions cup Gonson had stated the team had been focused on practising and perfecting its defensive strategies and coordination, using the information learned by the teams poor performance which resulted in their defeat to Trier FC.

The second game of the CEFA champions cup for the Rotslo team was abroad and many expected a similar result of the teams first game. Playing abroad against Togbata Republic the work done during the teams training between their matches was clearly displayed. The Rotslo team played more defensively and focused on retaining possession over its usual fast placed offensive style of play. After the goalkeeper Stocker saved an attempt right on the line of the Rotslo goal he quickly put the ball back into play, sending the Rotslo strikers forward on a rapid counter attack which resulted in a goal in the 56th minute. Despite Togbata Republic having also scored a goal causing the final result to be 1-1 the work put into the training was clear for all to see.

After the teams draw against Togbata Republic it seems their training had reverted back to the usual focus on control of the midfield and fast paced plays to quickly move the ball around the pitch in order to give the team as many opportunities as possible. According to Gonson "I am proud of my team, we may not have had a good start but I know we will pull this back and be victorious. We have focused on improving the defence now it is time to look back to our offence and the opportunities such as set piece plays that come along with that."

The third game for Rotslo was once again at home in Nau Rotslo, facing against KP Lhammasat the Rotslo team had cleared up their act and greatly improved their performance since their first game. In the 34th minute Rotslo gained an opportunity when the ball went out for a corner. Taking the opportunity Ojlan sent the ball into the box where it found the head of Vard which sent the ball to the feet of Sinlason who tapped the ball into the bottom corner scoring the first goal of the game. The first half continued without any other attempts, the Rotslo team just held onto possession of the ball determined not to risk their lead before the first half ended. The second half continued much like the first with the Rotslo team holding onto possession to maintain their 1-0 lead, that was until a long ball made its way to Monlerin who got around the defence only to then chip the ball over the keeper in the 83rd minute. The game continued without either side gaining any major opportunities to score and it ended Rotslo 2 - 0 KP Lhammasat.

The Rotslo team will once again face off against KP Lhammasat but this time away at Lhammasat Glb. It is widely expected the team will focus on possession and controlling the midfield ahead of the game as they seek to add a 2nd win to its CEFA champions cup journey and attempt to challenge Trier FC for the number 1 position of the group. Despite many expecting the teams training to be focused on possession and controlling the midfield there are others who feel Rotslo will focus on perfecting its defence as to prevent concessions of goals and to work on counterattacks which have been successful for the team in many of its games as its way to ensure another win.

The Bees get ready to Sting
Unlike some of the other teams from Ulstome in the CEFA champions cup Sost Krincaster has had a decent performance across its matches so far. With one win and two draws in the teams first 3 games many supporters are looking optimistically to the future performance of the team in the rest of the group stage of the cup. With many believing that the team may well win its remaining games to qualify as top of the group. Whether Sost Krincaster will is yet to be seen.

The first two games for Sost Krincaster where differen't to how the team had usually played in Seapion Ligthe matches, the players had been more than content to hold back and pass the ball between themselves and build up the ball from the back amongst the defenders as if they where warming up for a training session rather than the usual triangular possession based play-style the team was recognised for as its speciality back in Ulstome. Some think this was due to the first two games having been away games the focus of the manager Jörn Pelzer was to ensure the team did not have any early loses which could impact the morale of the team in its later games. If this was the teams plan it had worked well, the teams first game against Stade Bonneau against Taponier FC resulted in a 1-1 draw with the teams first goal of the cup having been scored by Frederickson just before half time. This also worked in the teams second match against Capital FC at HB-Stadion. Playing against the top team of the HPL the team just like their first game caused it to end in a 1-1 draw. 2 games, 2 draws.

Sost Krincasters third game of the cup unlike the first two was at home. Here we saw the team use the style of play it was well recognised in Ulstome for. Playing against FV Fjellne at home the team slowly wore down their opponents, holding onto the ball and slowly making their way up the pitch at the start of the game until they could draw out the opponents formation and give themselves an opportunity for an attempt on goal. In the 37th minute that chance came. Moving down the left wing a pass from Darsmonlo got Ivasno past the FV Fjellne defence who soon guided the ball into the box where several Sost Krincaster shirts where waiting to receive it. The ball found the head of Mason but the ball was deflected by the defence to Zickmer who shot but was also deflected, the second deflection sent the ball out towards the edge of the box where Darsmonlo ran in and took a third attempt on goal. This one found itself in the bottom left corner and soon it was Sost Krincaster 1 - 0 FV Fjellne. Not waiting to capitalise on their goal the team quickly got back into their past paced possession style and in the 42nd minute Frederickson scored the teams second goal of the game. That was how the game remained until the final whistle. It was Sost Krincaster 2 - 0 FV Fjellne.

With the teams first win of the cup spirits are high, but the team hasn't celebrated instead getting back to practise on set piece plays to improve on missed opportunities in order to score more goals in the future. We await to see the result of their next away game at Äjdel Areena against FV Fjellne, will there be a repeat of this one?

Off to a Bright Start
The journey of the Sist Krincaster team known to fans around the world has been off to a bright start. The team has had an excellent record so far in this cup, having burst out of the second round at the top of group 4 the team has been on track to lead Group B. Having advanced to the group stages with 3 wins and one loss the team has been dedicated to their training to achieve their goal for this cup, as their manager Bernard Varson says "Do better than Sost Krincaster, that is all we want to do". The teams rivalry with their fellow city team has for many decades been a continual point of high energy and enthusiasm from all football fans as both teams have competed against one another for several decades in the Seapion Ligithe.

The team has been training hard to capitalise on the momentum and good morale of its wins to boost its performance to try and garuntee its spot in the next stages of the CEFA champions cup. Much like many of the other teams in the tournament from Ulstome a large amount of training has been going towards set piece plays, practising and polishing how to attack and defend them in order to ensure the most amount of opportunities for the team to score from.

In the teams first game of the group stages away against FV Kallmö at 98 Parka the team came out unexpectedly with a 4-3-1-2 formation having moved Desford forward up the pitch from his usual starting position. The game begun poorly for the Dyers as they conceded a goal in the first half when their opponents exploited a miscommunication between the defenders which left several players unmarked and able to get through the defence. Going into the second half however the team was quick to equalise, taking the opportunity presented by a through-ball to Hollerford to score the teams first goal of the group stages. The game ended FV Kallmö 1 - 1 Sist Krincaster.

Following their draw in their first game of the group stages the team was playing their next game at home against N.A.-St. Umberto FC. The team had reverted from its 4-3-1-2 formation back to its successful 4-4-2 formation. Like their previous game the team had been slow to start off with causing them to fall behind their opponents. As the second half began the first goal of the Sist Krimcaster goal came in the 49th minute when a free kick by Desford sent the ball to the head of Certlon which was sent into the bottom corner giving the home team their first goal of the match. Another opportunity came from a corner in the 57th minute which resulted in Certlon's second goal of the match. Two more goals occurred from through-balls in the second half causing the final score to be N.A.-St. Umberto FC 1 - 1 Sist Krincaster.

The third game of the group was away at Minnisvarðivöllinn against Keris Sameinuð. Unlike the previous game the pace of this match was much slower as both sides denied each other attempt after attempt on their goals and tried to retain as much possession of the ball as they could. Several excellent saves from Etron prevented numerous attempts that would have resulted in a Keris Sameinuð lead. During the 73rd minute a foul on Tumon gave Sist Krincaster a free kick well within shooting opportunity. Desford took the free kick, sending the ball over the heads of both teams players and into the top right hand corner just out of the reach of the Keris Sameinuð keeper. The game ended Keris Sameinuð 0 - 1 Sist Krincaster.

The team has been practising its offensive tactics ahead of its home game against Keris Sameinuð as it aims to improve its goal difference to put itself at the top of the group.

The Rotslo team has had a rough journey through this Champions Cup. With humbling loses and well won wins it has been quite a rollercoaster of performance from many players who are recognizable and respected across the world. The teams midfield most off all is considered by many to be the strongest and most flexible of the Ulstome League but it’s performance in some of its games such as previously against Trier where the team was defeated 4-1 was lacking. Now as the team reaches its final game of the Group stages of the Champions Cup with 2 wins, a draw and 2 loses behind them they are deter see mined to win their upcoming game against the group leaders Trier FC, not just to get revenge for this past defeat but to also secure themselves a place in the last 16 and put themselves firmly on the road to the Cup final.

The last game against Togbata Republic looks to be a good sign for the teams future performance and determined morale as they would seek to continue on with the momentum from their 3-2 win.

Monlerin was quick on the ball when the game began, skillfully dribbling past several opponents before a quick one two to Vard allowed him to pass round the defenders for a 1 on 1 with the keeper. Firmly taking a shot towards the near corner of goal it was deflected by the goalkeepers dive, however the ball fell back into Monlerin’s path who without hesitating put it in the back of the net before the defenders could clear it and the goalkeeper get up. After this early goal the Rotslo team seemed to be mixing up their play-style and focusing on shutting down their opponents possession and opportunities rather than going for goal. They continued to play that way for the remainder of the first half, focusing on practicing closing down their opponents options rather than the usual pressure style of play that’s Rotslo uses to win back the ball.

The second half had many more goals than the first, the Rotslo team conceded two goals in quick succession which put them on the back foot not long after the second half had begun. A foul by Ojlan gave their opponents a free kick well within goal scoring range. This soon turned into an opportunity however as the ball was quickly sent up pitch in a fierce Rotslo counter attack, quickly Rotslo shirts flooded up the pitch and swarmed towards the box. A shot from Monlerin scored another goal, equalizing the game. Another goal followed a few minutes later as a cross from Ojlan found Monlerin’s head and scored the final goal of the game. The final whistle blew and it was a Rotslo win of 3-2.

After their victory the Rotslo team did not spend much time relaxing and celebrating but rather got stuck back into their training as their final game of the group stages was soon to be upon them. The team focused back to what some fans would remember as a very successful formation of a 3-5-2 for the Rotslo team before adopting their favored 3-4-3. By playing tight and quickly shutting down possible options for their opponents to dominate the midfield and prevent wide attempts to gain opportunities down the wings.

Before the game the teams coach David Gonson decided to try to inspire his plays and remind them of what they had practiced.

“Alright lads listen up. You have done well so far, played excellent football against many great teams and I am proud of you for all the work you have put in to rest to where we are now. But where we are now isn’t good enough, you are one of the best teams in the world, I know that, you know that, everyone knows that. So where we are now is not good enough, we should be doing better we should have won all those games not been cheated by lazy defending or complacent midfielders, no, we will not. We have suffered two defeats, one of which is against those we will be playing today, and I will not allow there to be a repeat of that! We have trained, improved and won to get where we are today, there will not be another loss, there will not be another draw, there will only be a win. You are a strong team but so are they, they will do all they can to win as should you! I won’t tolerate any slacking, and complacencies, any loss of will to win! Do you understand me?!”

“YES SIR!”

“Good, they will likely use the 4-3-3 which has been bringing them much success in both their leagues and here, put pressure on their Striker Jonas Lettman and deny them any chances. Strikers their Centre backs Marko Mertz and Mario Kupfer May pose a problem of you let them, but play as you had and work together and coordinate and they won’t.

Now remember it’s the good old 3-5-2 formation that we will be using today. They won’t expect it, everyone expects us to remain with the 3-4-3 we have used so far but we will surprise them.

Sinlason your falling back into the midfield, Ojlan and Opsal your moving back to act as wing backs. Skou, Smil and Grich you have done well at doing this and continue to stay tight near the box. Sinlason, Monkin, Homfra to protect the centre keep in formation, if they move to pay down the wings slide across so that it’s shut down. Ojlan and Opsal keep those triangles strong and secure between midfield and defence and remeber to go back 4 or even 5 if needed but look to break into the midfield aswell. Lastly Monlerin and Vard, play close together and force them to play wide, take any opportunity you can but don’t worry to much of you don’t. Opportunities and counter attacks will all come, and that is where we strike with full force and win.

Lancers!!!”

“Fear our charge!”

Sist Krincaster has had the longest at journey of the Ulstome teams up until this point. Having finished top of their group in the stage before the group stages to then currently be second in group B.

The performance has been one expected by many of the teams supporters having only suffered one loss so far. The last game finished 3 all and was not the win which the team wanted to secure their advancement.

Two goals by Hollerford and one by O’Irin secures a draw in the last game which left many disappointed as now the team must either draw or win their next game in order to advance to the final 16. A likely result but one that they would rather not have to face.

The team will likely use the 4-4-2 which has brought them much success in both their domestic league and their group stage games so far. The patient and possessive nature shown in their last game may continue as the team looks to decrease their chances of conceding and aims to maintain possession as much as possible in order to deny their opponents such opportunities.

Much of the game result will fall to the midfield preventing the movement towards the defense and setting up the strikers to have the best opportunities on goal to secure a win if not a draw against FC Kallamo 98.

CEFA Champions Cup will resume on February 19th!!!

With the 0-0 draw against FV Kallmö '98 in their final group B game securing Sist Krincaster's final position as 2nd in their group behind Keris Sameinuð. Advancing alongside their rivals Sost Krincaster to the round of 16, the next step on the teams goal of reaching the final, facing off against Supersport United. The team had fought hard, progressing through group 4 to the be placed in group B, and to progress again to where the team is now, many more strong teams will face them in the upcoming rounds but the team and the fans are confident in their ability to win and progress.

The 4-4-2 formation had brought the team much success so far in the Champions Cup and the teams solid performance with it and is expected to continue using it in its upcoming games. Despite the likelihood of the formation remaining consistent many expect Bech to be brought on at the start in place of Nicroson as the right back in order to improve the defences capabilities based on Nicroson's disappointing overall performance in the last couple of games. Similarly the forward Kalmo many fans are hoping to be brought on to replace O'Irin with Kalmo being better at supporting the midfield.

In a press release the teams manager Bernard Varson "I am proud of my team for how they have performed so far, but to get this far is what I and our supporters would have expected us to achieve at least. To have been eliminated before now would of been embarrassing for my lads, they have worked to hard to not be rewarded." "Yes I am proud of their performance, I would have expected more from our strikers O'Irin and Hollerford but we have faced strong opponents who have played well. I only ask them to keep up their hard efforts and continue to play to the best of their abilities and push this team to victory after victory. Our next opponents are not to be underestimated, they are a strong team and will put up quit the fight. However we will be the team that is victorious that i have confidence in." Varson also gave his thanks to the teams supporters.

With the teams disappointment with its 2-1 defeat against Trier FC in the last group game the team has been thankful that KP Lhammasat did not pass them and cause them to fail to qualify. The 3-5-2 formation used had not allowed the team to achieve the win the team had highly hoped to achieve. It is expected that the team will revert back to its preferred 3-4-1-2 formation that had brought it much success.

It is unlikely that the team will be changing its starting 11, manager David Gonson is expected to be keeping Stocker who stands 6 feet 5 inches and has had a good performance throughout the Champions League as the starting goalkeeper. Infront of him in the defence will be positioned Skou, Smil and Grich who will support the midfield in moving up the pitch and supporting the teams offensives. In the midfield stands the strong Rotslo Midfield of Opsal, Monkin, Homfra and Ojlan forming a strong and flexible set of players who will work to dominate the midfield and support the strikers in their attempts on goal. In front of them Sinlason reinforces the strikers Monlerin and Vard in securing strong opportunities for goal.

With the upcoming game against Midland FT in the round of 16. The Prydanian team had been undefeated in the group stage and will put up quite the opposition to Rotslo's attempts to score goals and gain momentum. The team may have to fall back on its set piece training and focus on gaining corners and freekicks to use to set up fast paced coordinated attempts that will break up the Midland defence if it proved to strong for the team to ordinarily break apart.

Lancers Charge Again

The Lancers had a rough first game of the final 16 of the CEFA Champions Cup. They were playing away against Midland FT from Prydania, a strong team that was starting off with the advantage of the home ground of MMvöllinn. Both player and fans knew that both teams would be giving it their all to gain an early advantage over their opponents going into the second leg of the stage. The support for the Ulstome team could be seen in the stands with the vast crowds who had turned out to support their team, even when the match was so far away from their home country.

The game began as it usually did for the lancers, their players maintained a high level of pressure on the Midland team to try and cause an early mistake so that they could gain possession early on and try to attempt to build up momentum early on to create opportunities to go for goals. However, Rotslo suffered early on in the game when a aerial clash in the first ten minutes left the centre back Smil with a nose bleed forcing him to be substituted off for the remainder of the first half. The result of this on the defence was clearly shown with gaps soon appearing that were soundly exploited by Midland FT. By the end of the first half the Lancers had conceded. The team would be going into the second half behind and would need to desperately score and bring the game around. The second half was, much like the first, not in Rotslo's favour. Despite the teams attempt to make a come back the team conceded yet another goal which secured the teams defeat. Rotslo had lost to Midland FT 2-0 at MMvöllinn in the first leg.
Despite the loss in the first leg many are confident and eager for the teams to play again. With a strong performance in Ulstome's Seapion Ligithe this season since their first match the Rotslo team is looking to be going into their next game with high moral, this would be further improved by the large home crowds that would turn out to watch their team play as evident from the sell out of Nua Rotslo tickets so its looking as if there will be full stands. "Ulstome National News Sports" is expecting to cover the upcoming champions league games and is hoping for lots of noise and energy from the crowds of this game.

The attitude of Rotslo going into this next game is best summed up in the words of their manager David Gonson "Look, the lads know what we aim to achieve, we are aiming for the top as our team has always done and it is what we will do. We lost our last match... and that is unfortunate... but to underestimate this team and the hard work they all put in constantly, to be the best players they could be is a mistake that if made will end disastrously. But I would just like to take the time to thank all our supporters who have been with us on our Champions League journey, win or lose, it is our supports who keep this team going and I thank them for their support."
Rotslo will be hard pressed to win their next match by a large enough goal difference to beat Midland and progress through but the team is determined nether the less to try.
