I think my issue is that most people i talk to are all 'well, its no shawshank redemption (or other equally amazing movie)' to which i think 'of course it doesnt! its an action movie, its not trying to make you think or have some incredible message. its just there to blow shit up and have dragons, which it succeeds at'.
 
i dont really get the whole bobblehead thing. the only one i own is a fallout boy (the game character, not the godawful band) and he kinda annoys me
 
Theres actually loads of conservationists that agree with ^. most of them keep their mouth shut though. It makes it hard to get funding when people think you're a panda killer

I think that might be the last party i have for a very long time. mainly because i dont know if i could top it. and i really hate cleaning the morning after

We used to have it, and now we have Academic Onefile which sucks hardcore. I've found that typing in what you want to find and then going to the last page of results is a good way to get what you're actually looking for, lol. :(
 
your unis only have one search system at a time? thats even stranger. even the university of Phnom Penh had a few different ones
 
I love Canberra day. i dont really understand why we get a public holiday for a city being founded, but i get paid $300 for 6 hours work, so i'll let it slide
 
Should I resurrect JAL's cooking thread with what i'm planning on cooking tonight? Should I take pics and provide commentary? It sounds like something that could be fun.
 
Booyah, checked to see where that thread was and saw it is over two years since anyone posted in it; that's some forum memory recall! I wonder what will happen to those memories when I finally leave this place? All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain...
 
Indeed. i want it very muchly. but then i also want Julian Casablancas tickets and a trip to indochina, and can really only afford one of those three things. i think the Pancha Tantra will have to wait :(

So I just got a camping ticket to Splendour in the grass! this morning! only problem is, i dont know anyone else that is camping. i've got a few mates that got non camping tickets (they can come to the festival, but can't camp) but as far as i know, im camping alone. cant decide whether i should downgrade to a non camping ticket or risk it and camp solo. any advice?

one last thing i should mention is that all the people i know that are going, are doing so with their partners. so i would most definitely be a 7th wheel
