Random thoughts go here

Bah, I knew this was the wrong girl for me. But I was blinded by the fact that she had read Kafka. And she had assured me that she would calm down once the semester started, but I guess that might be one of those "empty promises" things addicts throw around.

I enjoy it, which surprised me a little. shame its so late, and on at the same time as doctor who. the new series, with Freema Agyeman, who may have been the reason i started watching the show

Someone should make a display you can mount at the top of your car windshield that displays custom messages in mirror-image so you can tell the car in front of you, who just cut you off, that they drive like an amputee.

You could always get a really rubbish car and intentionally drive at half the speed limit. Thats my entertainment when being tailgated

Or I could turn in the drivers seat in slow motion while drawing a pistol and live out Grand Theft Auto. Though that would give the news media more fodder for their "video games cause violence" spiel, gosh it makes me so ANGRY! *Pulls pistols and become recursive*

I laughed out loud at that one.

I also just made three unsuccessful tries at spelling "loud" as "load" before I found the "u" button. I didn't want to admit it, but I'm going to. I wonder why my fingers insist on spelling something one way, when my brain is clearly telling them something else. I don't even type the word "load" that often, but apparently it is my finger default for any four-letter word that starts with L-O.

That's okay. I realized with your quoting that I misplaced my plurals. :duh:

Now my mistake is immortalized. Though I suppose that's only insofar as digital storage systems are immortal...which they're not in the slightest.
When I get rich, for whatever it is, I'm going to hire a scribe to record my thoughts on homemade papyrus scrolls, then I'm going to seal them in jars.

How can I believe someone who has lied to me with some frequency in the past? Do I ask to see the supposed work that they were away all night doing? Should I not even bother, just assume the worst, and leave? Who doesn't at least call their significant other when they have to work later than the time they said they would be over?

Am I suffering from confirmation bias, and it turns out i'm a misanthrope?

It's kinda sad when the final episode of Lost takes precedence over a nationally televised address to the US Congress, and the nation :( :ADN:

I am irritated at how hard it is to get good seafood here in the middle of Utah. I was watching an Iron Chef America rerun a few hours ago, and it was Battle Barramundi... and oh my god, I was dying at how good that damn fish looked. It made me miss the east coast more than I have in ages.

I am a little bit patriotic about how awesome barramundi is. and how cheap we get it here compared to the rest of the world

Technically im not even considered a soft science. im a student of humanities. apparently monkeys arent good enough to be considered a science

It took me months to convince the faculty of science that the human skeletal analysis and primate taxonomy courses i did were scientific enough to be included in my BSc

Hahaha

Isn't it obvious? Primates are only useful for one scientific purpose...

Cheers, mate.

There is a movie I am watching, and in this movie there is a woman who is taking a bunch of pills that seth rogen offered her because his company is too repulsive for her to endure without sedation.

Edit: Uh-oh, the pills were effective, she had sex with him! :notalk:

Edit2: Uhhhh, or he had sex with her? I'm gonna need to consult a feminist on this one...

Was Seth Rogen in that? Which blue person with a tail was he? Oh sorry, did I say person, I meant "Na'vi", which is totally different. They're like, taller, and did I mention they were blue?

*Is James Cameron raking in the dough with a literal rake*

Why is it that nearly everyone i know has decided that avatar was bad and anyone who likes it has horrible taste in movies?

my theory is they are doing it to shit me off. which i can understand, i've been giving good reaction

Ummm, because despite the CG effects it was a pretty run-of-the-mill? Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it on a visceral level, it was cool to look at and the people and the plot didn't get in the way too much with character development and originality.
