The Nogorian Civil War

Nogori

TNP’s Greedy Capitalist
The King Judicael Magnus Axsel of Nogori has officially declared war on the Communist Rebels. The Nogorian Government has asked the Ninhundish Army to help put an end to the rebels.

The Ninhundish Government has agreed to send aid and the army across the border. Ninhundish Forces are expected to entering Nogori by Jan 8, 2017. Nin PM Jörgen der Kreiger has approved this and Ninhundland is planning only to stabilize the country and not do a full scale invasion because there hasn't been a consensus made with the NWU.

Ninhundish Forces just crossed the border. 12,000 troops have just entered Norogi from Küfendachsted and Loftberg.

"The Communist Rebels won't stand a change against us." Says many Ninhundish Military Leaders as they storm through the nation.

The Anarchy Government, is willing to pay out $3.2 billion values (NSEconomy seems down, can't convert currency) to the Nogori government to help support the war against the rebels. However, no troops will be sent at this time.

Over 60% of the rebels have been dealt with. Either killed or sent to face sanctions in Ninhundland. Nogoria has been captured and the monarch separated from the rebels

In Fort Sina , near the northern border King Judicael is in a meeting with the top members of the Nogorian Military. Judicael was not only only disappointed but angry at his generals failure to hold the city. The generals scurried around Judicael in a hurry as fear ran through them.

In a cold voice Judicael asked "how much soldiers have we assembled?"

Grand Commander Bridge , head of the Nogorian Military said " we have assembled thirty thousand men your grace."

"Only thirty thousand, not only have you lost our capital you have also failed at acquirng the manpower needed to take back the city. You and the high military command have failed me and these failures will not be tolerated any more."

"I am sorry your grace, these failures are very humiliating."

"Indeed they are and the next one will not be accepted do you understand me."

"Yes your grace."

"Now that we have gotten past that the matter still stands, the rebels have not only taken the city they have also fortified it. I want you to take our soldiers and march on the capital also send a messenger to the Ninhundish Army and inform that we are attacking the capital and ask if they will aid us."

"Understood your grace."

Bridge then walks out of the room angry and humiliated along with the rest of the generals. They then gather the troops and begin their march to the capital. They are prepared to loose everything in the name of their king and await the Ninhundish response.

Mystery Player:

The Nogorian Government accepts and thanks the Anarchy Government for their aid in these desperate times

In Kalatun:
Following a National Assembly vote of 354/480 and a Senate pass of 103/132, the Kalatunian government wishes to send $10 Million Shilats (tied with value of Lorbankian Shilling/Shilat) to the government of Nogori, in an attempt to strengthen relations between the two nations. Kalatun also requests unarmed air reconnaissance over areas of interest/rebel-held areas in Nogori on behalf of the Nogori government.
However, the National Assembly declined the use of any weapons on the Communist rebels, with a vote of 121/480, and as such, Kalatun cannot offer armed aerial support.

----------------

"Think of it as a foreign investment", said Hans Evotkie, Socialist Representative of Valbeoch's 3rd District, in front of the National Assembly. "We can assist a nation in need of help, and in return, strengthen our regional status, and make a diplomatic friend upon the way". The National Assembly were quietly chatting with each other as his words rang out.

The quiet chatter broke: "Yes, this would be a good idea, you see", said Elinor Trigos, Socialist Representative of Rodaris' 5th District. "As a Socialist Nation, and not a Communist one, we need to show the world that we do not approve of Communism, specifically; Communist rebellions against fully-functioning nations. We have long been opposed to Communism, as well as violence. I'm sure that ten million Shilats is no big ask to help improve international relations."

At this point, the chatting became loud talking, especially from the Conservative side of the National Assembly, where many seemed to agree wholeheartedly.

Roland Kullas, Prime Minister of Kalatun, rose and said: "All in favour of 10 Million Shilats of aid to Nogori and reconnaissance missions from out airforce say 'aye' and raise your hand." The overwhelming majority of the National Assembly, it seemed, supported this. "All not in favour of 10 Million Shilats of aid to Nogori and reconnaissance missions from our airforce say 'nay' and raise your hand." This time, the presence was much fewer.

The National Assembly was in silence as the votes were counted up, and Roland Kullas announced: "Motion passed: three-hundred and fifty four out of four-hundred and eighty".

By the end of the day, the Senate had also voted in favour of this proposed diplomatic interest action.

"Are you sure this is the right decision?", Roland Kullas said to Aputsiaq Jeremiassen, President of Kalatun, in President Jeremiassen's office, that evening.
"It is what was democratically agreed on", replied Jeremiassen.
"Now we wait for Nogorian approval or rejection".

The Nogorian Government happily accepts the ten million Shilats and grants the nation of Kalatun permission for unarmed reconnaissance

In Wealth, President Livingston was in the intelligence room, being briefed on the developing situation, by his chief of Intelligence.

"Sir, the communist rebels have made some surprising gains, they've taken a major city and dug in, it's going to take some effort to weed them out of Nogori."

"How does this effect us?" Livingston asked, confused as to why this matter had been brought to his attention. Nogori was on the other side of the region, and Weath had little relations with them.

"Sir the Nogorian government is being aided by socialist countries, they are no doubt attempting to spread their influence across the region, and considering there are already to many socialist nations in the area we don't need another one forming."

" I see," Livingston responded, "so what do you propose we do?"

"Nothing now sir, just observe the rebellion now, but if socialists begin infiltrating Nogori, we should have aid, supplies, and if necessary, troops to give to the Nogorian government and remind them that they don't the help of socialists."

"Hmm, alright, proceed." Livingston ordered.

"At once sir," with that the Chief turned and left the intel room, letting Livingston ponder the situation alone.

In Fort Sina King Judicael is getting ready to make a announcement before the Magisterium of Nogori. Judicael is nervous because he wonders what their reactions would be like. When the Magister announced him he walked out unto the podium.

" I am before you all today to give you all to give a massive announcement. I Judicael Magnus Axsel King of Nogori hereby dissolve the Nogorian Magisterium and replace it with the Nogorian Parliment." At this point the magisters were yelling at Judicael.

"I know you all are probably angry and are disgusted by this, but look at the big picture instead of having you all selected by myself the Parliment shall be made up of elected officials. Not only am I making the Parliment, I am also sharing my power as Head of Government with the Parliment so that we may avoid a civil war like this again."

Now the magisters had calmed down and were all listening to Judicael with open ears. "This isn't for me, this for the people of Nogori. Our people deserve it and should have a say in the matters of our glorious nation. So I ask all of you to stand with me on this matter and rise up with the new Nogori. We need to show the world we aren't the barbaric war-mongering people they think we are, we are a glorious people and nation so as such I feel we all should be united on this matter."

The magisters are now out of their seats applauding the king and giving him praise.

"So now that the old Nogori is being done away with I have also decided to get rid of the of the offices of Archon and Lord Protector. The office of Archon will be replaced with Minister and the office of Lord Protector shall be remade into Chancellor. Now that I have your backing I ask all of you to pray for our troops today."

Outside of Nogoria Grand Commander Bridge has set up trenches and traps in the fields of Nogoria, completely surrounding the city in the process. He is now planning with his generals on how to assault the city. He hopes that he can bring glory to his nation and his king.

"So how does it look General Fussen?"

"Not good, we can't find a way without getting thousands of our troops butchered."

"Hmm , and we can't carpet bomb them since that would be to costly and sacrifice millions of citizens. Wait I have an idea."

"What is it Bridge?"

"The sewers from the city, they run under the east wall right?"

"Yes"

"So I'm thinking that if we hit right in front of the east wall we can cave the sewers in making a portion of the wall come down with it. It wouldn't cost any soldiers and the wall could easily be repaired along with almost no civilian casualties because hardly anyone lives on that side, I want you to order all artillery to fire on the east wall."

"Yes sir."

_______________________________________________________________________________________

Three hours have past as the artillery has been bombarding the east wall. Bridge and his generals are sure this will work. Finally the wall goes down providing a opening for the soldiers.

"I want all men to push through that chokepoint."

General Fussen waved his hand up giving the order to charge. As the soldiers charged through they were getting gunned down by the rebel forces. Eventually the soldiers made it to the rebels engaging in melee and opening fire upon the rebels. The rebels were quickly gunned down and were over run by the loyalists. The rebels eventually broke and fell back as the loyalists quickly took the rest of the city pushing the rebels back to the prison in the South Wall.

While holding their own in the prsion they were no match for the mighty soldiers of Nogori. The soldiers quickly took the prison and captured the leaders. Finally this war was over and the people could rest easy.
_______________________________________________________________________________________

The newly made Parliment voted to execute the rebel leaders. The rebels were dragged through the city until they were brought upon the center of it. In the main plaza where they would be killed there was a large metal rod on a podium. One by one they were sent up then shot dead by a firing squad. At last the revolution was over.

The Ninhundish Army isn't ready to leave yet. The Ninhundish Government is determined to stabilize and industrialize the country by making the king only a constitutional monarchy and introduce a Ninhundish style government. According to the Frankthorf Pact Ninhundland is there to do what's best for Nogori.

Ninhundland also wants to introduce a treaty with other members of the Frankthorf Pact which are Nogori and Argonisi where it allows Ninhundland to help control the their economies and keep them stabil. Ninhundland is expected Nogori to agree but isn't sure about Argonisi.

My soldiers are going to leave in a week once things settle down because Nogori is still very unstable. Nogori allows Nin soldiers there but everyone is freaking out and I don't want this to turn into something bigger.

Bohseon is deeply considering helping the Government defeat the remaining and regrowing rebel population and will give an official response, most likely 3 SU-36 Jets to help in various missions soon this week.

A message from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
The Armed Republic of Cogoria is dismayed at the events currently unfolding in Nogori, and at the merciless treatment and barbarity shown by their government in publicly executing the Communist freedom fighters, we can only see this as a sign of fear, the martyrs of the revolution have obviously made apparent to corrupt kingdom the flaws of their imperialist system, and in an effort to hide that truth they were silenced. Our great nation is now offering political asylum and citizenship to the brave surviving fighters, so that they may live without fear of death at the hands of their corrupt, bloodthirsty, imperialist government. And perhaps any refugees that come to us, may return to Nogori some day, and raise high the red banners of the revolution.
Our government is also deeply concerned by the expansionist policies of the Ninhundland government, and whilst our nation politically stands opposed to the North Western Union, we can only watch with a growing sense of disbelief that they would permit one of their number to occupy and attempt to subjugate a neighbouring state. Due to this failure of their much vaunted alliance, the 1st expeditionary fleet shall begin patrolling international waters surrounding the Union and it's neighbours in an effort to assist in maintaining regional stability.
Minister For Foreign Affairs
Giorgi Barishnikov.

As due to current event the Ninhundish Army has decided to leave Nogori because of the issues its created with the NWU and other nations. The Ninhundish Government called this a "Frachenlos" (Ninhundish Adjective roughly translating to Question Less) Choice.

Midnight. Classified location.

Jacksonian An-124's have flown from Northern Jacksonville into Andrenne as part of an agreement between the two nations to allow for the medical and humanitarian aid to be given to Nogori. The planes are all loaded up and are ready for takeoff.

"Commander Kolyana, I can report that the An124's are ready to go.", begins Lt. Tatiana Sokalova. "Shall we give them the green light to go?"

The Commander stands up and responds, "Yes Tatiana. Give them the orders for takeoff. Lets get this aid rolling." The commander watches as the planes takeoff into the dark sky. " There they go. The first humanitarian aid from Jacksonville to any other nation. Keep a constant eye on them. Make sure they arrive. "

"Of course Commander. I will oversee the operation." , responds the Lt.

The Commander returns to the command center and informs President Astanov that the planes are now heading for Nogori with the aid from the Jacksonville Crisis Center.

12:30AM. JN Admiral Alexandrov and JN Jacksonville

The Jacksonville Navy is preparing to help send aid to Nogori, but this time from the Jacksonville Humanitarian Council. This aid will be sent from two aircraft carriers, the Admiral Alexandrov and the Jacksonville. This is the first test of the Admiral Alexandrov as it was just commissioned on January 8th. Nonetheless, they are loaded with An-26's an An-124's that are fully packed with food, water, and medical supplies. Before the takeoff, the lead Admirals of both ships are communicating to ensure that conditions are stable for flight.

"Admiral Dagarnov, the planes on the Jacksonville are loaded and are ready for takeoff. Weather conditions are excellent right now. I think we should let them begin sending the aid." , says Admiral Lyazorovich, First Admiral of the JN Jacksonville.

"I agree Admiral. The conditions are excellent right now but we are not ready yet to begin sending the aid. Our planes are still loading up. Go ahead and send yours. We will join in as soon as we can." responds Admiral Dagarnov, First Admiral of the JN Admiral Alexandrov.

" Whatever you say Admiral. We will start sending the supplies to Nogori and we hope you will join in soon. "

A few moments later, planes from the JN Jacksonville takeoff and head towards the Nogorian capital. 30 planes takeoff in all. After the Jackdo's aircraft has gone, the Admiral Alexandrov begins to let their planes fly to some of the major cities. Doctors are in the planes as well and are going to give as much medical care as possible.

The Nogorian Government thanks Jacksonville for their aid and help in these times of division and depression

Nebulan hardliners have put in a parliamentary request for the supply of arms to the Communist rebels; numerous radical authoritarian elements within the country have announced plans to join the conflict on the behalf of the rebels as well. The Nebulan government frowns upon this activity.

Northern Nogori. 18th January 2017.

Humanitarian aid from the Jacksonville Humanitarian Council has arrived in Northern Nogori. Along with the aid, doctors from East Jacksonville Medical Center, a specialist hospital in the capital of Jacksonville, have came to help meet the medical needs of the people and soldiers. The most notable doctor is Nikolai Yeremekov, a surgeon and oncologist who was known for aiding the Coalition Army of Jacksonville during the war performing surgery on the injured rebels.

"Nurse, give the patient 50 cc's of Morphine stat.", shouts Dr. Yeremekov, who is preforming surgery on an injured Nogorian soldier.

"The 50cc's are in.", responds Nurse Alena Karimova.

"Now soldier, I am not gonna lie. This is gonna hurt and this is gonna hurt a lot. It is never fun having to replace lost limbs.", says the doctor to the soldier.

"Just get it done doctor. Please help me the best you can.", responds the Nogorian soldier.

"Nurses, get ready. This is gonna take a while and it is not gonna be easy. Karimova, get the X-rays up on the projection screen so that we can see exactly what we are dealing with."

"X-rays are up doctor."

"Thank you Karimova. It seems he has some internal bleeding, probably a response to the injury. We will need to act quicker now. There is no time to waste."

The surgery takes five hours, but it is a success. Doctor Yeremekov is able to unclog the bleeding and is able to fix the soldiers injuries. The Doctor goes in and sees the soldier after he wakes up from the surgery. He tells him that he will soon be able to return to combat, which makes the soldier happy. The soldier thanks the doctor for his work and tells him that he deserves a medal to which the doctor responds, "I am only doing the work which the Lord has commanded me to do."

Nogoria, Nogori.

Nogoria, the capital city of Nogori has been most devastated by the war. The city was captured by the Communist rebels and could still very well be in their hands. Since there has not been much communication sent to the humanitarians, they are going in blind.

"Stop the truck up ahead. We can begin unloading there.", says humanitarian Yuri Bakerov, a former Lieutenant in the Coalition Army.

The Trucks pull of the main road to a stop.

"Lets get to work men. We need to get these packages set up before people start rioting just to get the food and water."

"But sir, what if the people do start to riot? What is we run out of the resources before they can get to the front of the lines?", asks Dmitry Petkov, a member of the Jacksonville Humanitarian Council.

"Do not worry Dmitry. We have trucks on the other side of the hill that will be ready just in case we need more food, water, blankets and other things for the people. We just need to remain calm if they begin to riot."

After about 30 minutes, people start coming towards the trucks and tables to receive the rations from the humanitarian society. They are coming like a stampede and are gonna soon crash right into the tables. They are yelling and screaming for the food. But then, Yuri yells above the people.

"HEYYYYYYYYY! Quiet down. Now. I want you to all form single file lines and you can approach the table once the person in front of you has gotten what they needed.", says the Former Lt.

The people of Nogoria form into separate lines and begin approaching the tables. They are all registered as they come up to the tables so that they can certify how many people actually received rations. After one days worth of work, 50,000 people in Nogoria received rations from the Humanitarian Council.
--------------------------------------------
Somewhere in Andrenne.

More resources have been delivered to the Jacksonville Air Force that is stationed in Andrenne so that they can send food, water, and other necessities to Nogori. Soldiers are inspecting the aid packages before they are sent off just so that everything is accounted for. They are soon getting ready to load up.

"Lt. Alexandrova, are the packages ready to be airlifted to Nogori?", asks Commander Kolyana.

"Yes Commander Kolyana. Almost all of the packages are accounted for and will soon be ready to be sent to Nogori. We have began to put them on the planes as we speak.", responds the Lt. who has just come from Jacksonville.

"Good Lt. Good. Maybe this time the aid will be on time. I do not know what happened last time. I guess the planes just didn't get here in time."

"Lets hope that the weather is in our favor over the next few days as we send more and more aid into Nogori.", responds the Lt.

"Yes Lt. Let us hope for the best. Lets get those crates packed."

The soldiers begin to pack the crates onto the cargo planes. They are gonna soon be heading to an airbase in Northern Nogori. The planes take off, this time accompanied by Su-34's as the threat by the Communist has gotten stronger. All of the sudden, the final airplane is fully loaded and they close the doors on the back. The Su-34's are the first to take off, then the cargo planes follow not to far behind. In total, 38 planes are flying overhead. Within a few minutes, they are no longer able to be seen by those on the ground.
