Jacksonville Civil War

Sokolov re-read the message in his hands. They were orders directly from the Chairman himself, he was to get himself and as many revolutionaries out of the city, Cogoria was facing some unnamed crises and had need of the STCB.400 back on home soil. Consulting his map of the ruined city he began formulating a plan. While his forces were under constant attack from the massed enemies he could see one weakness. Orders were written and runners sent to gather the JRA forces for one final attack.

A few hours later a great cry went up from the JRA lines as they began to counter attack along the whole front, putting extra pressure on the Goyannes lines in the hopes of drawing in their aircraft. Large human wave attacks crashed into the defending lines as the Communist forces tried their last gambit. All the while a massive contingent of troops waited in the sewers for their turn to assault the enemy lines, the counter attacks were simply a diversion, a costly diversion but a necessary one. Deciding the time was right, the hidden troops surged out of the tunnels and charged directly towards the city hall and TF182, hoping the battle for the hall had depleted them enough that a fresh attack could break through. If the attack was a success the survivors planned to scatter into the countryside and head to the eastern coast.

A camera focuses in on the smartly dressed woman behind the desk of the Cogorian national news network, as the broadcast begins she jumps immediately into the state announcement "This is an announcement from the offices of the Party Chairman, Cogoria would like to reaffirm that it has played no part in the events taking place in South Jacksonville, in fact our great nation provided weapons and ammunition to coalition forces at the beginning of the conflict. However we must now condemn those same forces we sought to help, for their complete disregard for civilian life. Cogoria has been in contact with the newly formed Jacksonville Revolutionary Army who have brought to our attention the carpet bombing of the city by coalition forces, bringing large scale death and destruction to it's population in order to eradicate any opposition they may face in getting their corrupt bloodthirsty dictator into power. The would be dictator Astanov seeks to commit a genocide on an enormous scale in order to bring the patriotic workers of South Jacksonville to heel. So it is that Cogoria is offering full asylum to any refugees wishing to escape the war of the dictators. To facilitate the escape of any refugees the Red Banner fleet shall be deployed off the coast of Jacksonville to protect refugee shipping"

The ships of the Red banner fleet began their voyage from the home port of Ferrograd, travelling at full speed they would arrive at the eastern coast of Jacksonville in 5 days.

5:53 PM, Goyanes City

"Sir, We are receiving reports of a Cogorian fleet which will be arriving to ship refugees out of Jacksonville. Shall we issue a public statement?"

"Yes, contact the comms office and get me a link to the national broadcasting services."

Defense Minister Leidr walks to the comms office, where several tv cameras are waiting for a message to be broadcast. We positions himself at the table, and the cameras begin rolling.

"Greetings, citizens of Goyanes, and to those abroad who are also receiving this message. The Armed Republic of Cogoria has decided to offer asylum to residents of South Jacksonville City. The only concern with this is the deployment of several warships to "defend" the refugee transport. This is a clear warning for the Cogorian Fleet, you will not enter the territorial waters of the NWU with 13 armed warships. If you proceed, your ships will be destroyed. But, in order to avert a serious humanitarian catastrophe, the Imperial Air Force is offering to safely evacuate and transport all refugees who wish to seek asylum in Cogoria or elsewhere. We can do this, but we will not tolerate the presence of foreign warships within our territorial waters. Thank you, and that is all."

South Jacksonville City

The siege was going well. The coalition armies had arrived, and the communists were being pushed out. The soldiers had the assistance of both Jacksonville Armies and the Andrenne Royal Army, and were pushing forwards.

The radio goes off, and a message comes in from central command. "Attention, Attention, Command Zones NW1, CDA, NE1, and NE2, maximum alert level, I say again, maximum alert level. All ships be on lookout for Cogorian Fleet, consisting, 13 vessels, 1 carrier, 1 battleship, 4 cruisers, 6 destroyers, 1 assault ship. Do not engage unless provoked or entering NWU water. I say again, do not engage unless provoked or entering NWU water. Message Complete."

The fleet admiral, aboard the HMS Dauntless, stares into the distance, and orders the deployment of round-the-clock aerial defense squads. He goes to the conference room, and on the monitor is Defense Minister Leidr, live on TV

After tedious planning with the Jacksonville Independence Movements high command, SAA Canada joins in the siege of South Jacksonville City. They will start with 3500 soldiers. More are on the way.

To all with the independence movement,
Good Luck, comrades. We hope to see you in the city center. The noose tightens.

EJC Medical Center

They got to East Jacksonville City, ad hurried to the medical center. When they got there Commander Santiago got in a argument with a Doctor and Surgeon. They did not want to operate on the Prince, because he was not a Jacksonville Citizen. As he was angered Commander Santiago thought of something else, but nothing came to mind.

He asked the Doctor, "Where does your Loyalty stand with the current Government or with the Independent movement?"

"With our President and our people." the Doctor replied.

Commander Santiago smiled, "Men take them hostage, and take care of the Prince.... I need to make a call." He walked away.

South Jacksonville City Hall.

Soldiers of the Jacksonville Coalition Army and their NWU Allies have captured the city of South Jacksonville City finalizing nearly a week of fighting with the soldiers of the Communist Revolution. Future President Nico Astanov arrived in the city yesterday with his 250,000 armed reinforcements and helped make the final push into the city. He then met up with Commander Vladimir Thomas and presented him with the medal of Hero of Jacksonville. They are now at City Hall where the Future Commander-in-Chief is about to make his victory speech over the city.

"People of South Jacksonville City. Soldiers of the Coalition Army. Men of the NWU Armed Coalition. Soldiers of all the other foreign powers. Today, I announce to you, the South Jacksonville City is ours! It was not an easy task. It cost the lives of many men, over 100,000 to be exact. But in the end, they did not die in vain. They died for the cause of freedom. They died for their kids and for the nieces and newphews to have a better future. They died for all of us to have a better future. May they always be remembered as the heroes of Jacksonville.", Commander Astanov begins.

"Glory to the Heroes!", the people and soldiers respond.

"But this is not the end. We have made many conquests in the country, but one conquest still remains. Our Capital City has not been touched or effected by the war in any way. They have lived in peace up until now. They do not know, that in time, it will all come tumbling down. They will see the flames of war that the rest of the nation has seen. We will capture the capital. We will rebuild our nation. We will change our Government. We will change our Constitution. And we will rediscover our Spirituality!", the Commander says as the people applaud him. "For Jacksonville and Glory!"

"For Jacksonville and Glory!", the soldiers shout back in response.

"I would like to introduce you to the man who has made our victory here possible. Originally, he was a fighter for the Government. But when Mr. Yakovlev did not treat him with the respect he rightfully deserved, he decided to fight back. He joined us in the coalition and decided to fight for our nation. Give a warm welcome, to my future Minister of Defense, Vladimir Thomas."

The people erupt in applause and cheers.

"Thank you very much. It has been an honor to serve alongside this grand army for the past few weeks and to bring liberation to this great city. We will never let it again fall to the hands of the Communist or to the hands of the Government. Once this war is over, I promise that we will bring a new era to this country and bring a new economic hope for this city. Thank you and God bless you all!", says Commander Vladimir Thomas

The people erupts in cheers once more. They are ecstatic as to what will happen next. They are leaning strongly on the promises that the future government has given to them, but they do not want to hold their breath. Only time will tell. For now, there is one more enemy. The capital.

Jacksonville City, 5 Hours Later.

The city of legends. The City where the law is dictated. The city where our country once put such strong faith in. Jacksonville City is its name. It holds strong to the old ways of the country, especially in its architecture and in its culture. The city is defended by nearly 1,500,000 people, of which 750,000 are soldiers. The Coalition is ready to go after the grand prize, even though they know the numbers are stacked against them.

"Soldiers. Tonight, we move on the grand city of Jacksonville. We will march into the city and we will take back what is rightfully ours. This city does not belong to the corrupt Yakovlev government. It rightfully belongs to the people who want Freedom and Independence for the nation. Once we take this city, it will be open to all, not just to the elite or those who have lived here for centuries. We will march in will full strength. The armies of our allies will be here to fight alongside us. We will fight to the very last man.", begins Commander Astanov.

"URAHHHH!", the soldiers respond.

"Let us not worry about what will happen. Though the numbers are stacked against us, the odds are stacked against them. We have control of the entire rest of the nation, and all that remains for them is one city. They will not win this fight. We will win for our country, for our faith, and for our families. Let us march into the city and take it by storm! For Jacksonville and Glory!!"

"For Jacksonville and Glory. URAHHHH!", all the soldiers shout back

The soldiers march into the city. They are prepared to die for their country and for their freedoms. They will fight to the very last man. The Yakovlev Presidential Palace is their main target. All hangs in the balance. If they win the battle, they win the country.
-------------------
City 121

Soldiers being led by Commander Jax Lee have taken over the Airfield in the city. They are able to get reinforcements into the city so that they can strike at the heart of the city and take it for the glory of the nation. Over 50,000 soldiers are now fighting in the city. The numbers are now stacked against the Jacksonville defenders.

"Commander Jax Lee, it is an honor to finally meet you in person.", says Commander Aliaksandr Romanchukevich, the future Chief of Police and Minister of Police Affairs.

"Likewise Commander Romanchukevich. I am glad that you were able to bring your soldiers to help us. Glad to see you made it in one piece. Let us get over with the chitchat though. We have a mission at hand. We must take over the cities administrative building and raise our flag over it. They will surrender at the sight of our flag.", responds Commander Lee.

"Of course Commander Lee. Let us march as one unified army into the building. We will take it in no time at all. Men, to arms!", the new Commander responds.

"Sir Yes Sir.", all the soldiers shout back.

Outside of City hall, half an hour later.

"There is our target men. Let us take the building and fly our flag over the city. For Jacksonville and Glory!", shouts Commander Lee.

"For Jacksonville and Glory!", all the soldiers shout in response.

Within a two hours time, the flag of Jacksonville replaces the Flag of the Yakovlev's over the city. Soldiers begin shouting as they hear of the city being captured. They radio to the future Prime Minister and inform him of such and he tells them that they will all be made Heroes of Jacksonville.
--------------------------------------
City 50

They can see the lights from flares being fired as the fight in the capital city begins. The soldiers of the Jacksonville coalition know that they must act quick to fight against the defenders. The Andrenne soldiers have arrived in the city and are fighting hand in hand with the Jacksonville coalition. They are all now marching to city hall.

"Soldiers, let us join together one more time and fight as one Army. Andrennians and Jacksonvilleans fighting together for the common cause of Freedom and Liberty. We will work together in this mission. We will fight as brothers and sisters fight. Let us take the war to the Yakovlev's!", shouts Commander Aliaksandr Voyedoea.

"URAAAHH!", the soldiers shout in response.

"The Government of the corrupt Yakovlev's will fall and we will wise. To Arms men. Let us take our flag to the top of the city! For Jacksonville and Glory!", shouts out the Commander again.

"For Jacksonville and Glory!!", the soldiers shout back.

They march on city hall carrying a gun in one hand, a knife in another. Some soldiers are carrying flags so that if one falls, another will pick up and carry it on to the top of the building. Within three hours they take City Hall and raise the flag of Freedom over the city. Only One secret city reamins and the pressure is on to take it before Jacksonville City falls.

SAA Canada's artillery ships can just barely reach the capitol. The edge of the city will be bombarded, to destroy a few factories.

The victory in South Jacksonville City had boosted the morale of the Royal Army, who was getting reinforcements from their Fatherland soon. This would surely help them during the Battle of Jacksonville City, or as it was called in Andrenne Den Battle van Jaksonvillestad . Soldiers hoped that the war would be over before Christmas, as it seemed to drag on longer than the Royal Army had expected. They would be sending 2 Panzer Battalions, and 3,500 Soldiers into Jacksonville, who would move from a NWU base in northwestern Andrenne, to a checkpoint at the captured southern Andrenne-Jacksonville border, to South Jacksonville City, and finally from there, would move to a FOB outside of Jacksonville City, where they could meet with the other armies, and speak with the commanders. The whole division, including the men already in Jacksonville, were being commanded by Commander Feliks Öberg. The war would come to an end soon, most people suspected. Most predicted that once Jacksonville City falls, the morale of the Yakolev's would crumble, and they would surrender. Soldiers hoped it was true. Aside from the Royal Army getting reinforcements, the KWL (the Andrennian Royal Air Force) were flying in to support the allied armies in the upcoming battle. They were sending fighter jets to counter Yakolev jets, and ground attack jets to try and soften up the Yakolev infantry. This would hopefully help in the battle.

Shawn and the rest of the SAA Canadian 2nd Army waits outside of the capitol of Jacksonville. They have the order to walk to city hall, clearing out any pockets of resistance. It comes time to go. Men walk in the first block of the city down the street. Walking across town can't be that hard, right?

Right?
-------------------------------------------
The PM looks over a street map to the city. Hmm... He thinks to himself The soldiers should be able to make it to the city center through that stre-
"Oh, hello sir!" The 1st general says to the PM. "I just needed to stop by to tell you that our forces are under attack in the streets of Jacksonville's capitol."
-------------------------------------------
Ambush. The SAA Canadian forces have been ambushed on the street. Bodies are flying, blood is splattering, limbs are being crushed by debris. As Shawn dives for cover a horrific pain appears in his abdomen. When he gets behind some concrete with rebar sticking out of it, he looks at his belly. His clothes are soaked with blood. He pulls up his shirt of find that the damn rats had shot him twice. One bullet in the liver and one in his kidney.
"MEDIC!" He screams at the tops of his lungs, but it's useless. His voice is drowned out by the gunfire and the other men screaming Bloody Mary.
But he keeps screaming. He keeps screaming untill he blacks out from blood loss.

Ninhundish Troops march North of Gränzeborg, Ninhundland and across the Jacksonville Border. Maybe southern towns are under Nin occupation and the T1 is patrolled by Nin guards. This is a perfect time for an invasion of Southern Jacksonville because everyone else is distracted. Over 325,000 men have already advanced farther north into Jacksonville city with many shooting in perfect Faloch "FÖR DAR FOLKEN ONT DAST SECH!" (For the people and that victory). Not fighting on a side but simply using the Cival War to the and vantage of Ninhundland. Jacksonville International Airport has now been raided by Ninhundland along with many places south of the capital. Cities south of the capital are left hopeless and will be under Nin control for a while.

The small indigenous tribe of Argonisi rises above the ashes after making a risky move by attacking the rival tribe, Swansar, a tribe double its size, for control of all of the Tribelands, just after a peace treaty had been signed and an Argonisian leader has been stabbed. A new leader named Hubbard Stokes, the past Argonisian's leader's son becomes leader and stabs his father to rise to power, and, seeing the opportunity to claim glory for Argonisi, quickly and secretly backs out of the treaty to catch the Swansarians off guard. The plan works and with the Swansea's leader dead, the morale of the normally ferocious Swansarian navy is neutered to a whimper and despite many casualties, Argonisi rises victorious. Normally, the monarch would give time for his nation to rest for the political upheaval but this is not a normal situation.

OVER LETTER COMMUNICATION, STOKES AND THE FUTURE LEADER OF JACKSONVILLE, ASTONOV CONVERSE OVER MILITARY DONATIONS
Stokes: My dear leader Astonev, how are you my friend! How is the war?
Astonov: Excellent we are closing them in at South Jacksonville City, we are over 300,000 men strong! However, we will still need all the support we can get to get rid of those Yakolev trash.
Stokes: I quite agree, although our nations are far apart, I am eager to do my part in the war effort. I can make a contribution of 15,000 guerrilla marine special units, carried there by 50 warships. Do you accept?
Astonov: That would be lovely Stokes, but what would you want in return? There must be something in it for you is there not?
Stokes: Ah! You're keen eye for politics serves you well! I would only ask that I may receive glory in your victory, approval of your new regime once you take power, medical aid for my troops and civilians are wounded, and some food for my people.
Astonev: *Grinning* Is that all Stokes? Then you shall have it! With this naval contribution, our victory is almost guaranteed!
Stokes: Aye that it is! TO YOUR SUCCESS!
Astonev: To my success!

AFTER THE SERIES OF LETTERS TAKE PLACE, STOKES ISSUES THE ORDERS TO THE MEN. TYRONE BRENT, ARGONISI's 5 STAR GENERAL CONFRONTS STOKES IN THE GRAND FOYER OF THE SWAMP PARLIAMENT HOUSE.

Stokes: Mr. Brent, how are you?
Brent: Not at all good, as General of your new nation, Im normally involved when you give the order to attack! Not to mention it is not a good plan at all! Is successfully winning a major war not enough for you that you seek a civil war 5,000 miles away?
Stokes: My dear Brent, my plan is to attain glory and aid for fighting nobly in the war. We are a weak nation but through acts like these we may attain true power! Countless men have risked it all in order to win everything!
Brent: Yes but my King, didn't Stalin and Napoleon lose in the end?
Stokes: Brilliant minds as they may have been, they did lose, a common flaw united them in their failure. They broke off more than they could chew.
Brent: Well, with your leadership we won the Tribal War and with your leadership may we win this one.
Stokes: Oh we will, thanks to my informants in Jacksonville, I was able to learn of the results of the Battle of South Jacksonville! This is as sure a victory as I've ever seen.
Brent: How did you get an informant in Jacksonville already! Bah, it doesn't matter, glory to Argonisi!
Stokes: Glory to Argonisi!

AS THE SHIPS DOCK AT A FRIENDLY ASTONEV SHIPYARD, THE ARGONISIAN TROOPS ACCLIMATIZE TO THEIR NEW SURROUNDINGS IN A METROPOLITAN SURROUNDING. PRIVATE BREWSTER WRITES ABOUT THE PLACE.

South Jacksonville City is a disaster. Once giant buildings of gray have fallen and replace by mounds of rubble and fire and dust. Flickering neon signs promoting water for 9.99$ have crushed women and children seeking refuge. Bodies both struggling and lifeless are covered in soot and beyond recognition by this point. Death fills the air like a smog. Our leader, my second cousin Stokes, sent us out here recklessly. He doesn't know what it is like here! He has no idea! Hopefully with the war being close to done, not so many casualties will be taken. Day 10 - We are pushing up through the cities and have witnessed the full carnage of this battle. It looks to me through my inexperienced eyes of chemical warfare? I don't know, but the smell, the lads have agreed upon is toxic. Day 11 - We have met up with the other generals we have met up with. I look at the planes with awe and am ashamed we do not have such birds of war. Nor do we have any tanks like the magnificent behemoths of Andrenne. But we have our Navy and our Marine's and that is what I am proud to be a part of! ~Signing off, Pvt. Robert Pembley

THE ARMIES HAVE ALL MET UP WITH EACH OTHER, AGREEING ON STRATEGY AFTER STRATEGY AND THEN QUIETNESS STRIKES THE LAND. THE TENSION IN THE AIR IS PALPABLE AS THE MEN BELIEVE THAT THIS WILL BE THE FINAL BATTLE TO THE JACKSONVILLE CIVIL WAR.

Jacksonville City, Noon, 12th December 2016.

The soldiers of the Coalition Army have taken over the Parliament building, the Presidential Palace, and city hall among other many administrative buildings in the city. They are fighting for the cause of freeing their nation by Republic Day, which is in 3 days. Though they have made great strides in the battle, they has lost over half a million soldiers. The Army of the government has lost almost double that. Civilian casualties are over 300,000 making it the greatest lost of human life in this war. Commander Astanov is rallying the soldiers for one final strike.

"Men, lend me your ears. Today, we take the fight back to this evil dictatorship. We have lost many soldiers in this battle and we must not let them ever be forgotten. With their sacrifice, we have made great strides in taking over most of this city. The Yakovlev Army is scared of us. They know that they will lose this city. They abandon their positions at the sound of our tanks and our planes. Let us strike fear into their hearts. Men, over that hill. Charge!

"URAHHH", the soldiers respond

"Do not fear them. Take them by storm. Make the soldiers feel the pain we and our ancestors have felt for decades. Remember, ??, ??? ??????? ????, ?? ????? ????? ???????! What the Yakovlev's have been given, God commands us to take it away from them. We will win this war. March on. For Jacksonville and Glory!"

"For Jacksonville and Glory!"

A few hours later

Soldiers have stormed the safe house where President Yakovlev is hiding at. Commander Nico Astanov is at the head of the group and goes into the room where the President is sitting.

"Look at you Yakovlev. The once great leader of our nation, turned dictator, and now your glorious nation and army is in shambles. Your ancestors would be ashamed. But as I told my soldiers, 'What the Lord gives, He can also take away.' The choice is in my hands to either kill you or to let you live. So, what should I do with you?"

"Whether or not you win Commander Astanov this will not be over. Your nation will be in shambles, your economy in ruin, your people will lose trust in you and they will turn back to us. Mark my words, this is not my downfall, but your end.", Yakovlev responds with a smirk.

All of the sudden the sound of a gunshot can be heard. President Yakovlev falls to the ground. He has been shot by General Nikolai Ivanovich, the 8x Great-Grandson of Jackson Ivanovich, the founder of Jacksonville.

"There ya go Commander. The Yakovlev's are finished. Our work is done.", says General Ivanovich.

"Nice shot General. Then again you are a descendant of one of the great sharp-shooters in our countries history so I should expect nothing more.", says the Commander. "You will be rewarded for your deed.

They leave the room and go on national TV to declare the death of the President. They show the dead President on live TV as proof. As they announce that, soldiers of the Yakovlev Army begin to surrender. The Commander goes on top of the President Palace and raises the new Jacksonville flag. The leaders of the Government announce the unconditional surrender to Coalition soldiers. The war in the city and Jacksonville all over is completed.
-----------------
City 42, December 9th.

The City is finally in control of the Coalition Forces. Commander Brian Alexandrov is declared Mayor over the city by Commander Astanov and declares it to be an open city rather than one closed off. People begin to return to the city and they are glad to see the new soldiers as they come in.

"Welcome to City 42. We are glad that you are here and we are pleased to begin the work to rebuild this glorious city. Let us all unite together and work in peace and harmony. United, we will build this city from the ground up. Workers, let us begin the rebuilding of this city!", the Commander shouts out.

(OOC: The war is not technically over yet, but the remaining post that will be done by me is the Terms of surrender. Plz do not post in this thread since the war is over, unless it is about your troops leaving. Thank you all for joining us and thanks for those who made it fun!)

The SAA Canadian troops leave from the small port many of them came in. 476 men died in this country, and they are leaving so soon. One of the men returning home is Shawn. But he is returning home in a bodybag to be buried. After he was shot, he managed to stand up, throw a gernade into an open window, and kill 9 of the enemy soldiers. He then collapsed dead.

----------------------------------------------------------

Good luck taking care of your country. I hope that you can return the favor eventually. It was fun RPing.

The STCB.400 survived the battle for South Jacksonville with few casualties, experts in unconventional warfare they melted into the countryside after sneaking through enemy lines. After slitting a few unfortunate Coalition troops throats, they took their places in the ranks during the battle for the capital until the Red Banner Fleet took up its position 13 miles off the coast. Then like ghosts they dissapeared amid reports of some civilian aircraft going missing from a nearby airstrip. With little fanfare the Cogirian fleet turned for home with 115 extra passegers, dumping the stolen planes overboard.

The Goyanean military units assembled, at the capitol building of Jacksonville City. General Hans Gasen is standing at a podium. General Gasen starts speaking. "My valiant soldiers... You have done your empire well. You helped free the Jacksonvilleans from the brutal Yakovlev government, and now you men have made history. We lost men, and we must remember them. They will not be forgotten. I have spoken with the Jacksonvilliean military officers, and we have decided to pull out and come home. We will be leaving 100 men behind, along with several aircraft to help with the transition of power. As for the rest of you, the time has come. There is a transport wing waiting at the city airport, along with several trains back. Your group commanders will take you from here."

As the first aircraft start landing at Goyanes City Airport, the crowds of the soldiers families wait by the terminal, hoping that their relatives, husbands, wives, and children, can find each other among the hustle and bustle. Greeting the men coming off the aircraft was the Grand Emperor, accompanied by Prime Minister Norberg, and Defense Minister Leidr. They were happy that their men were finally home once again, and the threat of the Yakovlevs was neutralized.

After six whole days of recovery, David was finally coming too. His ankle was still shattered but he was able to breathe on his own. He needed no more liquids and blood.

“My Lord it is great to see that you are recovered!”

David looked at where the voice was coming and was happy “Commander…. Is the war over?”

Commander Santiago smiled and put up a peace sign “Yes my Lord, Jacksonville is free of oppression.”

The Prince smiled and looked out the window. “Good…Have the General retreat all troops by Unit, back home..” He closed his eyes, he then looked over to Santiago, “Then alert the Palace that at the festival at Goyanes, I had caught a sickness and I am being treated…..” He then fell back to sleep.

“Right away my Lord.” He gave out the Immortal Guard Salute for the Prince. And gave out the orders.

That was it- The war was over. Royal Army units assembled, the Panzer Divisions not far from them, at the capitol building, near the Goyaneans and whatever other soldiers were there. General Öberg assembled them at the steps of the Capitol building. Most units of the Royal Army, and even the Royal Marines (Who had come late into the battle) were there. At least 10,000 soldiers were there, and at least 100 tanks were there with them. "To every soldier that is here on these steps; victory belongs to the most persevering, and you ladies and gentlemen; were the most persevering. Congratulations. Of course, we had our casualties, and they will be missed and remembered dearly. However, compared to the Yakolev's, our causalities were nothing. Now, for the current events; we shall be leaving 350 soldiers to help with peacekeeping, rebuilding, and humanitarian aid. These 350 men will still get Christmas off though, don't worry about that." He said, a small chuckle emanating from the crowd. "The rest of you will be heading back home. Since we're on the border with them, we'll be driving out in two days. If you have any girlfriends or boyfriends here, see them before we leave. The train lines will be back up and running, and you'll be able to take those home early, if you so wish; though you should know you'll be travelling with Goyaneans on the train, so I hope you know a bit of Gojan. The rebels, just like the Royalist Front, have overthrown a dictator, and have taken power. Long may they reign democratically over this country. Den Kunig ond den Menscher sar stoltz van du. Grattwun." He spoke loudly and boldly, especially with the last two statements in Andrennian.

It was all true- The King and the People were proud of these soldiers, and Feliks knew it. Soldiers in the crowed cheered, and they were dismissed shortly after. They went around to pubs and bars in the city, joining up with whatever Andrennian, Jacksonian, Goyanean, and Argonisian soldiers there were, and going to pubs around Jacksonville City. Some of the drunken Andrennian soldiers could be heard singing their national anthem, and various Christmas songs in somewhat slurred Andrennian out in the street that night.. Soldiers that wanted to go home that night, or the day after got onto trains or got into the patrol that was driving through the southern border. The war was over, and the Andrennians were happy. General Feliks Öberg would stay in the country for the parade that was to come, and the Prime Minister, William Gerhardt was coming as well, along with His Majesty, King Lukas the Second.

The Republic of Ninhudenland issues a formal apology for the actions that have been caused in Jacksonville. A group of corrupt generals acted without the consent of the Govenment, and operated a full scale invasion. Ninhudenland has already commenced reparation payments, and will bring those at fault to justice.

15th December, 2016.

The war has ended. Life is returning to normal for many people in many cities across Jacksonville. Cities are beginning to be rebuilt, cleanup from destroyed vehicles is beginning, and many are beginning the long trek home. But today is a special day for the people, today is Republic Day, the day we celebrate the founding of our country. People have amassed into East Jacksonville City to hear Acting President Nico Astanov give a speech before the people. Everyone is wondering as to what he has to say because he stated that he had a special announcement to make.

"People of the Republic of Jacksonville. On this day, of our glorious founding 500 plus years ago, we celebrate those who founded our nation and those who have fought and died to protect our freedoms. Today, we should praise God for all that he has done for our nation. He has blessed us with another year of life, He has freed us from the bonds of slavery from the Yakovlev Dictatorship, and He will continue to bless us in the coming years. Many things will take place over the coming months, including our first truly free election!"

The people begin to cheer interrupting the President's speech

"Which gets me to the point of the special announcement I wanted to make. In January, we will host the first election of the Tricmaeral National Assembly. At the start of February, we will have our first Presidential election. When this Presidential election comes, I will not run for election as many people expected. I believe that to truly have a free election, I should not run for the position. I will however, run for a seat in the National Assembly so that I may continue my service to my country, just not on the Executive level. I know this comes as a shock to many, but I believe it is best for our country."

The people are shocked but they understand the reason that the President will not run for election. He continues his speech, including telling people what he will be doing over the next few weeks. He then gets back to the main topic of it being Republic Day.

"So, in conclusion, let us celebrate life and everything that we have been given on this our Republic Day. Enjoy yourselves, have fun, stay safe, and sit back and watch the parade."

The people cheer loudly. They are so excited for the parade. This year, soldiers from Goyanes, Selvaris, and Andrenne are participating in the military march, the first time any foreign army has marched in the parade. Everyone knows that today they should celebrate because tomorrow, they must go back to work and cleaning up from the devastation of the war.

East Jacksonville City, Capital District, 2:30PM, 15th December 2016.

The Representatives of the former Yakovlev Government and the Representatives of the Coalition Force are meeting to discuss the terms of surrender. After hours of deliberations, they have finally came to an agreement. The leaders of both sides, Nico Astanov for the Coalition Force and Aliaksandr Yakovlev for the Yakovlev side are giving a press conference to announce the decisions of the treaty.

Nico: Thank you one and all for being here today. Today, we can officially announce that the war is over seeing as the terms of surrender have been signed by both parties. I would like to think my counterpart, Aliaksandr Yakovlev for his hard work in trying to mend the wounds of war.

Aliaksandr: Thank you for your kind words President Yakovlev. I would like to give a special message to the people of the country. On behalf of my family, I offer an official apology to the people of the nation. I am sorry for the actions of my father and my grandfather before me. Their actions were illegal and were borderline extremism. I hope that we can mend the wounds that they caused.

Nico: As do we. I hope that our nation will be as forgiving as we should be. Now on to the main reason for the press conference. At 2pm today, we signed the treaty that is now the official surrender of the Yakovlev Army. The terms are as follows: The Yakovlev family accepts all responsibility for the war and is ordered to pay 50,000,000 Jacksonville Dollars to the country, to be paid in the course of 2 years. The Army of the Yakovlev Jacksonville will join in with the Coalition Army and become the official army of Jacksonville. The capital will be moved to East Jacksonville City. And the final part, while it may come as a shock to many, the Yakovlev Parties of the Parliament will be allowed to run for Federal election.

Aliaksandr: We appreciate the Coalition being willing to allow the parties to continue running to ensure the freedom of the elections. We do accept the terms of surrender and we will begin the payout within the coming days as promised.

Nico: Thank you all for attending. Let me remind you that we cannot blame the descendants of the Yakovlev's for what they did. We must learn to forgive eventually, because if we don't, we will just continue to have war.

They leave the Press Conference room talking. They are both pleased with the outcomes of the treaty. President Astanov has decided to appoint Aliaksandr Yakovlev as one of his advisers just so that they can get the nation running again.

Constitutional Committee meeting, East Jacksonville City. 5pm, 15th December 2016.

The Constitutional committee has began to meet to discuss the forming of the new Constitution. All of the political parties are represented at it, tribal leaders, minorities, and even religious leaders are in attendance as well. They are all there for one thing, to ensure that the new Constitution brings a stable transition into a new country.

"Thank you all for being here at such a late hour. I hereby call the first meeting of the Constitutional Committee to order.", says President Astanov. "So, who would like to begin?"

"President Astanov, I would like to say that I believe we need the Constitution to be longer than the one we currently have. Seeing as we have already decided that we would have a tricameral National Assembly, we need to include all of their powers in it.", says Pastor Brandon Smith.

"I do agree with the Pastor but I believe we should also have much more included in there so that we can make sure the law is clear. We must not allow there to be any cracks in the system. We need to curb corruption and we can help ensure that.", says Professor Nikolai Yerovich of the Jacksonville City University.

"Both of you are correct, but it doesn't go far enough. We need to include all of the individual powers of the ministries, the executive, the legislature, and the judiciary. We must also allow religious tolerance and ensure that there is no discrimination against anyone, including minorities.", says Tribal leader Yetwo Nyoborov.

After many more representatives raise good points, the President finally speaks.

"I think that many of you have raised many good points here and I believe that we will use a good majority of it in the Constitution. We will reconvene tomorrow to discuss it more. Thank you all for being here.", says the President.

As they are leaving they are all talking among each other trying to work together to ensure the constitution can be written without any issues, which everyone knows there will be some. One leader though says that everything will come together in due time and that we just need to wait for God's signal.
