Admin Requests

I'd also like to have DRUK masked as an Asst Prosecutor as well.

EDIT: I'd also like to request again a subforum only viewable by the AG and his/her assistants. There are many cases and I'd like a place to put the documents and confer with my fellow attorneys. We do have the moderator option but that is not proving sufficient in helping communication amongst the attorneys. If you'd like, you can turn the Complaint Docket subforum into that forum as I do not believe I'll have use of it in the way it was used previously.

DRUK masked. Are you sure that it's wise to create an easy way for the AG's office to keep its business hidden by default?

Yes - I don't have a place to talk to my folks about arguments we'll take or lines the defense may use, etc. without doing so in a public sphere or PM.

Any evidence that the AG presents has to be shared with the defense, in discovery, so I don't think there's any chance for impropriety.

Eluvatar:
It's going to be made into a separate box.

NB: You can hide/unhide the newsbox by clicking the little arrow in the upper right hand corner of it.
You can, but for some annoying reason, on the next page load that also hides the Board Statistics box. Which I don't want to lose as it contains the Active Topics link in.

EDIT: Make that "sometimes" hides the Board Stats box too.

Yes that's a bug I'm going to figure out later. If you unhide the board stats it doesn't unhide the newsbox, however.

Nope. But with the frequency with which I nuke this stuff on my phone (and that being where it's most annoying) it's getting on my wick already :P

Okay, upon looking at the present state of the FAQs I would like to request some things.

First, could we please get an archive for FAQs in the archive forums somewhere? Some of the present FAQS are ancient (from the look of things, some hail from the era of Old Blue) and it'd be a pity to lose them and their historic value so I think an archive is required.

Second, could we ask that the admin team consider moving the FAQ forums from their present position as a sub-forum to a top-level forum under Port Thel?

In regards to the Archive Forums, might I suggest the name of the Archive Forums be "Exhibit of the FAQ" or something alone those lines?

Grosseschnauzer:
There is a archive for the FAQs:

http://forum.thenorthpacific.org/forum/3037416/

As to the other content of The Docks, besides the Registration and membership area, there has been the Harbor Bottom:

http://forum.thenorthpacific.org/forum/3006727/

The main problem has been the volunteers to update the FAQs never ger around to it. Elu and I have tried several times to get the material updated, and all we get are so far empty promises.
I created that archive today.

Sorry I seem to have forgotten to post about it here.

To be honest it should never have been assigned to volunteers. It was the Minister of Internal Affairs job, which means the Cultural and Entertainment Ministry has taken over from that and is now working on it.

PS: Thanks for the archive.

Thanks Eluvatar for the Archive. We'll start moving things over as soon as possible.

Let's be clear. When the first attempts were made, over a year ago, there were no Cabinet ministers in office. While I was Delegate a year sgo, I did appoint a minister (and an additional volunteer to in part work on it; it was the holiday period, they all got interested in the then-new sinkers, and so much for getting anything done.

Then there were Delegate after my term who weren't able to get it done either. So please don't be snippity and self-righteous about it because guess what, a lot of people volunteered over time and no one was getting it done.

I have arrived as the new ambassador from Democratium; I was told to request Foreign Envoy masking?

EDIT: A rather ghastly typo found its way into my request. Fixed.

There have been two Ministers of Internal Affairs just during my time here. The legal code even states;
23. There will be an Executive Officer charged with welcoming. They will be tasked with ensuring that nations founded in the North Pacific are appropriately greeted, that newcomers to the regional forum and to regional internet relay chats shall be welcomed and helped with any questions, and with the maintenance of regional FAQs.

In any case this isn't the area for it, but I wished to defend myself.

You don't need to defend yourself because no one's attacking you. Please don't argue in this thread.

punkd: willdo.

Elu! I can't get it so that I have the recent stats box open and the government members box shut. It keeps shutting/opening every time I undo it. Fix, pweaaaase :(

The government info was recently changed, which causes the government info box to automatically unhide.

Unhiding the stats box does not unhide the government info box.

Please Rename Council of Five Chambers to Executive Council Chambers.

Also can the Blue Wolf be given cabinet masking, so he can access this area.

Thank you.

Hmmm, good question. I personally don't mind fulfilling what requests I can from this thread. I did not unpin those threads because I prefer leaving that to the moderator in charge of those forums. Maybe contacting them would be the proper protocol?
