The farmed and domesticated Sydian Honeysheep is one of IndieGirl's primary food sources. These animals, however, are all-but-extinct in the wild, due to the brutal population decline during an 8-year famine which began in 2008. This widespread reduction in numbers is also exacerbated by the Sydian Honeysheep's docile, timid nature, characteristic long-winded bleat (which sounds eerily like parts of the second guitar solo from Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb, a trait which, in a prime example of Darwinian evolution, also made the animal far more easily tracked by predators,) and its noticeably ginger coloring. The Sydian Honeysheep is actually a very loyal companion, when domesticated and treated as an equal, but the breed does tend to exhibit a strong anti-authoritarian streak, and is not very good at spelling when cornered or anxious.
