In reality, though, Syrixia does have a complex security system as well that involves local police, the army, and even the citizens themselves should they choose to help, which they're encouraged to. Kind of like an "if you see something, say something" policy. Syrixia is like an espionage black hole. Sending spies there is basically the equivalent of sending them to their doom.
