OOC: Añola

I'll be getting involved now; attempting to write a reply, in which we see the execution of the Syrixian, and converse with Syrixia about sending a strike team into Añola.

Hopefully it's obvious none of this is what Carlos intended, that he didn't want Syrixians to die and never planned to hurt any of them. This explains his general dislike towards his protectors when they hurt or throw the hostages.

Oh no, nothing severe. Just a mass hostage rescue in the dead of the night, minimal casualties. Although, if they do come across Carlos, they won't exactly be friendly to them.

Just a few questions. I'm presuming guards use medieval suits of armour? Or are they more modern? Could you give me a few features of the area? Was the body of the executed Syrixian moved, or is it still in plain sight? And finally, how many hostages are there?

Strike team? Nah. How about the CIT?

(EDIT: Have the CIT agents in Paubloro get caught so we can send in the strike team. The other agents, meanwhile, will be cutting Añola into pieces and seizing control over the networks.)

As said, there's about 80 hostages. The body would be given a proper burial, even if it were Carlos' intent to kill, he's respectful of thing such as that. On the armour, it's a modernized suit of medieval armour.

Syrixia, you can do that idea, although we'll be focused on rescuing the Syrixian hostages.

Also, remember that "terrorists steal nuke" scenario that I came up with? I may make an RP of that soon, and I have a small foreshadowing in my upcoming post.

Was I too quick? It was meant to come at a shock to demonstrate the power of the CIT; but if I was too vague and quick tell me what I should edit and how and I will. :)

One more question. Are the hostages held in a basement? Or up in a tower? Or on the ground floor? Or even none of those?

In the bottom of the Palace in a cobbled dungeon from the 1500s

Kewl. And finally, many thanks for all of the questions you've answered. I really appreciate it. :D

There's also no secret passages.
*Looks at Syrixia angrily*

Oh don't worry about that. We're digging one by bribing some of your miners. Either they'll dig it under the guise of renovations, or through the night. Best part is, it'll be filled in, so Carlos will probably have no idea what's happened to them.

[me]is confoos

I have to say, Carlos is dimwitted. He's quite nice, hence why he didn't wish to hurt the Syrixians but he does often put his citizens before important matters like the economy.

Finally made the reply after about three hours of typing. I kept on checking it and I take time to type if I'm uncertain. If I get a good idea, I can type it out quickly, but this wasn't the case.

I thought of a plot twist.
If you guys decide to reach Carlos, simply stop your post at the throne room doors so I can continue off :D

I could have a renegade in the Section Alpha squad who goes up to the throne room to get revenge; maybe they could be a relative of the dead Syrixian? Unless it required the whole squad, and/or the hostages?
Another idea is that half the squad goes forwards to secure the further parts of the castle, giving the others more time to react. Once they get to the throne room, then your plot twist takes place.

Nebula, I have a question.

During the raid on the castle, when your agents discover Carlos in the throne room, would I be able to RP as one of them? Although it may feature a little cursing, I do have a good idea.

Also, I'm awaiting a reply so we can get this into action; we need your approval for it, unless you want to change something.

Please note that the hostages live in Añola, they've been kidnapped because either their or both of their parent's nationality was Syrixian.

I was debating whether McMasterdonia should get involved in this somehow. But given our other issues right now perhaps not. Plus I read the IC thread and was like o_O wut

We should do a RP of some kind between Anola and McMasterdonia later, perhaps.

Perhaps.

Since I already did my 'Carlos got fucked up by some guy he spent thousands on training in foreign countries to guard him' you guys can continue.

Maybe the Guard becomes the new king and stages a coup and there's a battle and mission impossible and mission impossible?

Well I'd like him to surprise you guys a little more, won't say how unless you pester me on IRC.
