Guess the country

Ah, the genius among us is Sydia! Taiwan, AKA the Republic of China is indeed the correct answer, sporting the Executive, Legislative, Judicial, Control and Examination Yuans.

Ah, the genius among us is Sydia!
Then we're all doomed!

Ok, next place.

The place has had a whopping 19 coups or coup attempts since '75.

First colonised in the at least the 6th century, AD.

Rice is the staple diet.

World Figures from the Economist of course. I love it so :P

Speaking of the Economist, and because I am too lazy to think much more, they recently rated this country the most democratic in the world.

Yalta is a rather insignificant holiday resort on the shores of the Black Sea, not the capital (which is Kiyev, btw), right?

I interprete it like that: it needs to be a conference where all the big three (the USSR, the USA and the UK) took part, and it needs to be in a capital. The Soviet Union wasn't there in Washington, DC, USA; Casablanca (Morocco) is not the capital, and Teheran (Iran) was after the conference of....dumdumdum...Moscow!

Russia

It wasn't Yalta, that was in 1945. The first conferance of all of the Big 3 was in 1943. FDR never went to Moscow. And Stalin wasn't at Casablanca. ;)

The correct place has been mentioned however.
