Guess the country

The country's government really has no control of it and is run by warlords.
Alright another one. A book was written about the battle and was later turned into a movie. The battle revolved around rescuing two downed US attack helicopters.

Rwanda? They now have this freaking "R" in the middle...but to which does this other, similar flag belong? No idea, but that's also not the question...

Can I also take countries that existed once upon a time??

I'll leave those for later! :bat:

This country has the oldest Christian church (not the builiding, but the whole organisation) outside Palestine.

Rah!

One of only 2 countries in Africa to escape the Scramble for Africa by European powers.

Has strong historic ties with the US.

More than 20 different ethnic languages are used in official correspondences, although English is the official language.

This is the only "country" that ever quit the European Union.

Why "country"? Well, it is more a sort of colony of another nation, but once it was getting more autonomous, it decided to leave the EU. It still has very strong ties with the former colonist country, though.

Cheviche, which is a form of citrus marinated seafood salad, originated from this "New World" country.

There's a what not branch of government in this country? Hmm.

Venezuela.

They have the executive, legislative, judicial, what not, and uber-left wing oil loving guys who like to insult the US.
