My dad has a kidney stone. And my date with that girl in my comp class went well.

I have a great life, and I'm cooler than you. Etc.

I envy! A co-worker of mine went to see them and said Paul did a good job.

We'll give it another go.

My last few days have been incredibly busy. Not busy, but rather, shall we say batshit hectic. And very incidentally, none of the happenings have been of a positive nature, though I must admit, I have brought them all upon myself. The jury is still out on wether I need the experiences that have resulted from said happenings, but now it seems that they will return a verdict of the most positive sort. As it is now, things have started to quiet down, but I know in my heart that it is merely the calm before the storm crazy fuck hurricane.

Onward. To other, greener, more fertile pastures. Shall I speak of feelings? Yes, I shall.

I feel like I've been a jerk to the one who matters most to me. If she is reading this, it is my hope that she realizes that I am well and truly repentant and that I'll try to be less sensitive about the matter in question. Long-distance = hard. This relationship = more than worth it.

Enough about me, let's talk about other people.

It looks like Arsenal's first transfer business of the summer isn't getting rid of Sol Campbell to Turkey but the signing of Borrusia Dortmund’s Czech midfield Tomas Rosicky. He's reportedly passed a medical and his signing could be announced today. He took time away from his country's World Cup preparations to travel to London and his national manager said:

I am surprised it did not come to light earlier. We have tried to keep our promise to keep quiet but I must now admit that Tomas is undergoing medical tests.

A fee of around £6m or £7m is being bandied around but that has yet to be confirmed. What it would suggest though is that Robert Pires is more likely to move as Rosicky would be a candidate for that left hand position. There’s no question he’s a very talented player, he works hard on the pitch and we were seriously interested in him last summer as well. It looks like the boss has got his man at last. As well as that he is proven quality not raw potential. I’m very happy with this signing.

And in Flemingovian news, Jose Mourinho states the obvious by saying Arsenal would never sell any of their top players to him. Maybe that's because he went to meet one of our players in secret, got caught, denied it before it was proven that he met him and proven that he was lying like a big lying liar whose pants were actually on fire, he was lying that much.

Jack Kerouac:
"I felt like lying down by the side of the trail and remembering it all. The woods do that to you, they always look familiar, long lost, like the face of a long-dead relative, like an old dream, like a piece of forgotten song drifting across the water, most of all like golden eternities of past childhood or past manhood and all the living and the dying and the heartbreak that went on a million years ago and the clouds as they pass overhead seem to testify (by their own lonesome familiarity) to this feeling. Ecstacy, even, I felt, with flashes of sudden remembrance, and feeling sweaty and drowsy I felt like sleeping and dreaming in the grass."

I love this quote.

I was poking around on the s2 and I got all nostalgic.

I miss Pammy and I hope she's doing OK, wherever she is.

We lost a great one the day she CTE'd.

I am up too fucking early, for no fucking reason.

Hello, my name is OPArsenal, and I have some issues with time. Allegedly.

So. Last night I did something that I haven't done in a long while, that we hadn't done in a while. I missed it. I missed you. I missed us. I missed everything I hadn't had in so long. I love you.

Whoo. I hate MySpace. More than anything in the world, other than the Kneecap with Hair (Ann Coulter). It is nothing more than the Internet's ice cream truck, a sort of e-rusty rape shack on wheels. And it's now owned by Rupert Murdoch. Which means that I know have a guilty conscience whenever I use it for my Morrissey info. Thanks, you fuck.

I need a rewind button for my life. Or something.

Sol Campbell is on his way. Speaking at England's training camp yesterday, he said:

What is my future with Arsenal? We will have to see what happens. I'm not considering anything. I've just got to weigh up the situation. Arsenal is there and that's all I've got to say about it at the moment.

Arsenal will always be there, Campbell, and thankfully next season it will be there without you. If he really thinks anyone cares if he stays or goes he's deluded. We were on tenterhooks with Henry because he’s an amazing player and we'd be so much weaker without him. If we get rid of Campbell and bring in somebody like Davies there’s no doubt in my mind we're better off. It's quite presumptuous to try and make an issue out his future because what he decides will have little bearing on what happens to him. The club were actively trying to move him on last summer. After his bullshit this season we won't just be trying. If we have to bring him out into the woods and drive off without him that’s what we'll do. He certainly won't leave with the goodwill that Bobby'll take to Spain. The fat fucker.

There are even whispers that Campbell and his agent are negotiating a release from his contract with Arsenal so he can retire after the World Cup and go into acting. A film role playing this man is apparently on the cards.

And I'm still hoping that Ashley Cole leaves and we pick up Trabelsi. Please, please, please, Mr. Wenger.

Former captain Patrick Vieira was gassed into unconsciousness, along with his wife and daughter, by thieves who then plundered his house while he was asleep. Thankfully he and his family are ok and he’s now joined up with the French World Cup squad. Scary stuff though.

And that's all I've got. Late.

Later in the day today, but now instead of moaning about how early it is, I get to gripe about how I'm hungry. Anyone have any food they can send me? I've been writing some poetry, but it's rubbish. Hmm... Wilkshire just logged on to AIM. Off to chat with him, then an Arsenal news post.

So it looks like it's final: Le Bob is leaving us. He's had a great career, and I'm sure that he'll be a great poacher for Villareal. Best of luck to him. AW had some praise for him, saying,
Robert has had six tremendous years with us and made a huge contribution to the team's success during his time here. He is not only a great footballer but a good man, so of course, we are sad to see him go. I would like to thank Robert for the dedication, determination and passion he has shown and wish him well in his career.

Robert Pires, 2000-2006, 84 goals in 284 appearances.

In other transfer news, there's some garbage here about us being interested in Michael Owen. Right. Too bad for us... Seriously, I really wish we had picked up an aging cunt of a player to put next to the greatest footballer in the world. Especially when you consider the lack of talent we have on our side. That's just what we need. Something to sink all our cash into, just to watch him get hurt. I can't think of a better transfer investment.

And Sol Campbell still hasn't been sold. What gives, folks? Are we really that stupid?

I can't believe I forgot my daily bit of Walcott:

Ashley Cole supports Walcott here.

Apparently he's fast. Naturally, I was expecting him to say something like "He can go from 0-60 in less than 4 seconds and has a top speed of 190 mph." Instead, he said Walcott is "very, very fast" which leads me believe Ashley doesn’t know how fast Theo is at all. I have to say I’m disappointed.

Walcott will take some part in tonight’s England B international against Belarus and Sven Goran Eriksson is confident that the teenager, who has yet to play for Arsenal, can make an impact. He says:

He was quiet at the beginning but after a while you could see that he is a really, really great talent. He is not only very quick, as we knew, but he also has a good touch and he scores goals as well. That may be very good for us in the World Cup.

Scoring goals is always good. Good to see Sven as positive as ever though. Walcott scoring goals in the World Cup "may" be a very good thing for England. It may not though. Right.

I love you too, shugah-punkin face. You should get on MSN sometime. I'm occasionally there. :P Especially when I'm here, like this, dinking around at home because I about punched some self-righteous twat at work who dresses like a polygamist and says I'm going to hell because I drink caffeine. She keeps stealing my computer in the mornings and then switches my desktop, takes down my stuff on the cube wall, and puts all my CDs in the drawer, because I listen to hellion music. I want to scalp her. Or punch her in the face till she's not alive anymore.

Anyway, now I'm going to go finish my rant in my own blog. And thank you so much for the laughs last night. I needed that. A lot. *big juicy mwah* :D

Like this, Mum:

I'm gonna take it she isn't the one with more than one spouse.
