The band recorded an album in memory of Michael Hutchence. Brandon Flowers of the band The Killers revealed that he recorded the song "Beautiful Girl" with the band.[71] Rob Thomas from the band Matchbox Twenty recorded the song "Never Tear Us Apart" and "Original Sin" with the band.[72][73] Australian singer-songwriter Vanessa Amorosi has also been reported to have recorded a version of "Devil Inside".[74] Oddly, Ben Harper has also reportedly recorded a version of "Devil Inside",[75] but a later release on INXS.com had Harper performing Never Tear Us Apart. Gabriella Cilmi, Nikka Costa, Tricky, and Eskimo Joe's Kavyen Temperley have recorded tracks for the project.[75][76] Deborah de Corral is also slated to perform on the album.[75] Patrick Monahan of Train will be recording an as-yet undecided track.[77] The album is being produced by James Ash of Rogue Traders.[78] The album is called Original Sin, with a release date set to November 2010.
