    The Mod Act

Lol of course I think it's too long. I've said so often enough. That's why I put most of this into a law and not the Constitution. I would prefer to see the Constitution shortened but until or unless it is it seems ludicrous to me that we require accountability from everyone but the people...

    The Mod Act

No, it doesn't. It is not different to the Delegate being prevented from being part of the Government. In the current scenario you would have 2 choices as far as I can see. You could give up your Government role (as the Delegate eseentially does) or you could hand the Root Account to someone...

    Just out of curiosity . . .

That was my understanding. The Lexicon encourages and supports all legal forms of gameplay.

    Just out of curiosity . . .

Well my understanding is that the rules have been seriously streamlined with the change to 'Regional Influence' and 'Regional Power'. Prior to that there were a whole slew of rules governing invasions, which by NS' own admission were difficult to apply and difficult to moderate.

    Just out of curiosity . . .

One of the fundamental aims of The Lexicon is to give players the right to run their nation as they see fit. They don't have to be democratic to be Lexiconian but they can be if they wish. A region doesn't have to be democratic to be part of The Lexicon Confederacy, but they can be if they...

Arghhh don't mention orgies...the TLA is easily distracted ;)

    The Mod Act

Yeah....line them all up against the wall and sh....err. no (note: humour intended) EDIT:(Gah! Rogue tag found and executed. It was not informed of its rights before execution and it was not given the right of appeal ;) )

    The Mod Act

Lol wish I knew Fulhead! I keep looking through it trying to find a rogue tag! (Gah! Rogue tag found and executed. It was not informed of its rights before execution and it was not given the right of appeal ;) )

    The Mod Act

While I do agree with you Polts, given the climate TNP operate in I think the following reflects more readily the same sorts of procedures which are already in place concerning Government officials. What I've written may look long but it hopefully is simple in operation, covers most...

    Just out of curiosity . . .

Fulhead's choice of words may have led you to your confusion. And I'm sure it was not Fulhead's intention to mislead. The Lexicon is neither invader or defender, in the historical manner in which it has been understood in NS. Many in TNP regard TNP as a 'defender' region. Organisations and...

    Persecution?

Apologies for the double post but I've been meaning to check this out for a couple of days and not had time. There is no member 'Cruithne' registered on The Lexicon forum. The only close IP match to Flemingovia's has made one post and was last active on our forum over 2 months ago. Therefore...

    Persecution?

Ahh so only you are allowed to have an 'author's opinion'. Everyone who posts with their personal opinion is obviously telling lies. The Lexicon has gained its around 1000 member nations from all the Feeders, including TNP, by an extremely good recruiting team, working very hard and by...

    Petition responses discussion

Thank you for your ruling. Although you have dismissed my request it seems you have confirmed my assumption that should Hersfold take the actions he has indicated he may, that those actions would be illegal. EDIT: Grammar

    Cathyy's petition

I would like to point out again that I have specifically NOT asked the Court to bring charges against Hersfold. I'm not sure why he persists in thinking that I have. Nevertheless I have not done so. The matters of which Hersfold speaks relate to things which appear to be extra-constitutional...

    Cathyy's petition

I now further ask the Court to note this post made by Hersfold, acting in his capacity as Root Admin. In this post he makes clear that should IP attempt to circumvent his ban that his IP address will be banned. This again would leave me no recourse to the Court at the time it was undertaken...

    Persecution?

Looks awfully like trolling from where I sit. Fulhead and the other Founders of The Lexicon spent years in TNP trying to help newbies and trying to develop the region into the sort of region you would expect a Feeder to be. However, a small minority here do not want that. They prefer to play...

    The Mod Act

Well, the problem I have is this. I have been placed on a warning for a post which allegedly breached Invisionfree's ToS. I do not believe it did. I have been informed that I can appeal the ruling. But who do I appeal to? The very people who imposed the warning in the first place. By any...

    The Mod Act

I think this would be a very positive move for TNP although the current Constitution does already refer to forum bans. I believe that TNP is far too big a region to be held in the grip of one Root Admin - whoever they are. It has long seemed wrong to me that Admins stand outside the law. In...

    Hersfold's petition

In this particular case it would seem to me that we concur. The bringing of cirminal charges has been, by precedent, only via the office of the MoJ/Attorney General. It was my concern that this precedent was being ignored which prompted my initial post in this thread. In my own petition...

    Changes In Criminal Proceedings

Ah but what when you're accused of being the same player as someone else as in Hersfold's accusation that IP and I are the same player ;)

    Hersfold's petition

My supposition then would be that based on previous precedent the Court will almost certainly have to rule that any such case must be brought via the AG's Office. Should the Court take any other course I suppose that complaints made by nations in the past which never reached the Court due to...

    Hersfold's petition

I have a question which is directed solely and only to the Judge who appears to be presiding in this case, Byardkuria. Reference Rule 502 Part A of the Court Rules Although this rule appears to imply that a nation acting alone may bring forward a charge against another nation (such as...

    Cathyy's petition

I ask the Court to note that I have not applied for Judicial Review of Hersfold's actions as PM but specifically I have asked for measures which will ensure that my rights under the Constitution are maintained. In line with previous rulings by the Court in relation to matters not brought...

    Associate Judges Needed

I'd like to apply. I have extensive knowlege of the Judicial System, am a member of the RA and know the Constitution pretty thoroughly. Thanks.

    Cathyy's petition

My initial request and my reqeust to rebut Hersfold's statements was specifically and only directed to the Court, not the Office of The Attorney General.

    Poster of the Day

Lol Alhoma, you've truly bought into the TNP ideology. The whole point of OOC is to be silly and most often pretty pointless. In real life it's called 'small talk'..on a forum such as this it's called 'spam'... Go figure :)

Lol well it is in my time-zone. Things get re-set at 12:00am BST I'm glad to see TNP full of activity...even if it is brought to you by The Lexicon ;)
