Associate Judges Needed

To all Regional Assembly Members:

We desperately need a couple trustworthy individuals to serve on our Court. Byardkuria's been doing an excellent job on his own as Chief Justice, but I'm sure he would gladly accept the help of a few Associate Judges.

If you're interested in holding the position, please post below. You must be a member or the RA and must be willing to resign any other government positions if accepted. Once we get a few names on the list, the Cabinet and I will decide who to appoint to the position, and those two people will (hopefully) get approved by the Regional Assembly.

Um, the only real experience I can offer is that I've read it...twice.

And the legal code, and the dummies version of both.

I don't see how I can really otherwise be experienced unless I represented some side in a lawsuit, which sadly, hasn't happened.

EDIT: Also, I just remembered that I used to be a chief justice in TGU back when the position still existed, and acted as the moderator of the only trial held under that judicial system.

I have extensive knowlege of the Judicial System, am a member of the RA and know the Constitution pretty thoroughly.

The Allied States of Kitabo will be willing to sent a representative serving a associate justice.

We have significant experience as Attorney General in Stars and have already served as guest jurist for the TNP Court recently. :yes:
 
I nominate Mr. Gaunt. Once again, a campaign thread is not compulsory but would be nice!

I've already nominated you flem, now it's up to the Prime Minister, Hersfold to make his decision. Which I suspect will be made soon after the new Justice terms bill passes.
 
Yep, at this point I think we have enough candiates to get along with. If you still really want to do it, send me a PM, but I'll probably make a final decison in a day or two.
