Vice Delegate Report
September 15, 2025

I told you I would be back!
I'm back.
I'd like to extend my gratitude to the North Pacific, it being the special region it is, and its community, you all being the special folks that you are. I have now been elected four times as Vice Delegate, more than anyone else in history, and I am grateful to all of you for getting the chance to serve in this office. I'm feeling good about what we can accomplish this term. With the summer slump ending and the game as a whole waking up again, I'm looking forward to getting our endorsement counts up! Want to know how you can help? By endorsing the Delegate, Vice Delegate, and the Security Council, of course! I'd also like to congratulate @Halsoni and @Foskeburg on winning their elections as well. You folks will be great!
Security Council Applications
We currently have one active applicant for the Security Council, former Vice Delegate and current WA Delegate @Halsoni. We have been discussing his application for a few days, and it should be voted on in the near future. Expect an update on this soon!
Weekly Endorsement Goals
Our Weekly Endorsement Goals are back! I will set a goal for both the Delegate and Vice Delegate to reach in terms of endorsements, with the help of the greater community! If that goal is reached, a reward will be given out for that goal. The deadline for the goal to be met is next Monday, or the 22nd of September. Now go out there and endorse Halsoni and Chipoli!
Delegate @Halsoni: Halsoni's endorsement goal is to reach around 665 endorsements, a nice first step towards the milestone of 700 endorsements. If this goal is met, I will change my discord profile picture for a week to one of the community's choosing. (Something appropriate, of course!)
Vice Delegate @Chipoli: I've been barely above 600 endorsements for a while, and I want to escape the danger zone. Getting me to 610 endorsements would go a long way towards doing that. If the goal is met, I will pick a poll topic of the community's choosing and incorporate it as the next one.
Endorsement Data
Below are a few graphs that will give you an idea of our current endorsement situation.
Endorsement counts of the Delegate and Vice Delegate since the beginning of the month
Ruben and I have seen each of our endorsement counts steadily increase as the summer comes to a close, as more and more players return to the game. The Delegate's endorsements have been increasing at a faster rate than mine, but that's nothing a bit of extra outreach can't fix.
Security Councilor endorsements since the start of the month
The trend for most of the Security Council has been similar to mine and the Delegate's. A slight rise, which is a good sign for the future, but nothing too eye-popping yet. We'll have to wait a while before our long-term situation becomes clearer.
Top 25 nations by endorsement count in The North Pacific
Between today and yesterday, the endorsement counts are largely similar. All Security Councilors are above the 80% line, and I am above the VD minimum endorsement count, as shown in the graph. No non-SCer is in danger of over-endorsing or being a security risk. It's safe to say that the tides are calm as of now.
Conclusion
Alas, that's just about it for this report. I'll be back with one next Monday with more information on our endorsement goals, our WA health, and an update on a pending Security Council application. With that said, I'll take a page out of my most recent predecessor's book and leave a couple of handy links below:
