This is the view from above the beach at Cala del Mal Pas then looking over the harbour to the view of Poniente beach.

Poniente beach is the longest beach in the resort, more than 3 km long, making it an ideal place to stroll along the shore.

It is characteristically quieter than Levante beach .

The domed building is the Església de Sant Jaume i Santa Anna, a Catholic church from the 1700's.

The peninsular is the Balcó del Mediterrani a meeting point at a lookout deck with white-stone balustrades, known for beach, town & sunset views.

Parc d'Elx

A small park featuring a fountain & multiple park benches surrounded by palm trees and a multitude of doves.

They love being fed and will land on you.

A view of Benidorm harbour, the small harbour of Benidorm stands on a promontory located between the two main beaches, the Levante and Poniente.

This was the original site of the city, a primitive fishing village overlooked by the church of San Jaime.

We made it to the NOVA Cocktail Bar.

They had a special offer on two cocktails for €12 - so I had 2 'Pina Coladas' and Cleo had 2 'S** on the Beach'.

Very good cocktails.

Strolling back to the 'New Town' - this is 'Chaplins Bar' - we've never been there, can get very busy and the shows they put on are not what we're looking for.

It's being revamped, it used to be called 'The Beachcomber', no idea what it going to called now.

It's on the 'English Square' just off the Calle Gerona.

We love the Silver Dollar it's one of the best bars in Benidorm :drinkingsong:
