Candidacy Declarations: November 2020 Judicial Election

This November, The North Pacific will be electing 3 Justices to serve until the next election in March 2021. Any Citizen who has been a member for the last 15 days (since 17th October 2020) is eligible to run for these offices, and eligible members may run for more than one of these offices if they so wish. Loss of Citizenship before the conclusion of this election will also result in loss of eligibility to run for any office during this election. A list of those eligible to run is provided below.

To run, one must either accept a nomination or declare candidacy in this thread. To withdraw from running, one must post a withdrawal of candidacy in this thread.

Acceptances of nominations, declarations of candidacy, and withdrawals of candidacy posted outside this thread will be discounted. Acceptance of a nomination is understood to also constitute declaration of candidacy even if no nomination has been made. Acceptances of nominations, declarations of candidacy, and withdrawals of candidacy must be posted during the candidacy declaration period to be valid. The candidacy declaration period is from (time=1604269800) (your forum time) to (time=1604529000) (your forum time). Voting will be approximately from (time=1604701800) (your forum time) to (time=1605133800) (your forum time).

This topic is intended for nominations, acceptances of nominations, declarations of candidacy, and withdrawals of candidacy; it may not be used for campaigning. Please keep in mind that lying about the election is election fraud, and that lying for any purpose is fraud.

I declare my intention to run for the office of Justice, promise not to bring personal politics into the office of Justice and must stay on and not forget my participation in the Judicial System of the North Pacific. If I am allowed to nominate along with my running, which I probably am not, I intend to nominate @r3naissanc3r, for he has been around longer than I, and has been an inspiration for years as HMS Unicorn. Long may the North Pacific live.

I wish to serve and contribute as much as possible for the judicial system of the north pacific and for the north pacific in general.

I withdraw my candidacy in the race of Justice due to having no experience, and having not really developed the neutral mindset required to maintain the office of justice due to my personal upbringing in a lower-class family, resulting in my personal views having turned socialist in a way. Therefore, as mentioned earlier, I drop my candidacy and wish everyone luck with their election to Justice.
