Emperor Klaiden Risvie sanctions a law approved by the Parliament regarding the financial aid requests by the population and many small businesses that can't recover by themselves after the Civil War that lasted for 285 days and left millions of people affected in the nation. There will be given to everyone whose monthly earnings are less than 10,000₸τ an aid of 727.32₸τ, or 638 IBU, monthly, during a year. The government wants to ensure that peoples' income won't be compromised by the high food prices during the recovery process. At about 8 billion IBU will be released each month to people from the affected areas, meaning nearly 12.6 million people are going to benefit from the aid that is know as "Caring Tardine".
To all corporations that fit in the small businesses category (yearly income less or equal to 8.2 million Tars), there will be given 143 billion IBU (a value equivalent to roughly 12 billion IBU each month) to be distributed among the 6.4 million Tardineanni small businesses. The goal with this is to keep the economy strong so that people will continue to buy their basic needs. This is also part of an ambitious plan of recovery that aims to make Tardine achieve full reconstruction and without any traces remaining of the Civil War by 2030. With all those policies implemented, the Government is in hopes that the inflation doesn't grow up uncontrollably.
The head of state, Empera Klaiden Sergonianni Risvie, addressed this matter earlier today: "This isn't just about about giving people money only. This is about giving them the necessary ways to recover, by giving them a small financial aid. I know that 727₸τ, half of our minimum wage, isn't nowhere near the amount some people need to live as of now. However, we can't put at risk our economy by spending more than we can right now. That's why we chose this value, which may be seen as not much by some people, but I'm pretty sure it will make a huge difference in people's lives."

Harold Osborn won re-election but he's facing a challenge from a faction within his own party. Louisa was wondering how? In Prydania and Saintonge, where she fled to during the War, things are different. We joke about how weird Prydanian and Santonian politics line up, but in both countries if you lead your party to victory you're pretty safe from challenges. In Esþursia this isn't the case.
In Prydania and Saintonge party politics are just a thing you do with the end goal being winning an election and governing.
In Esþursia political culture is different. There party politics aren't just something that has to be done, it's a goal. Over there there's a greater emphasis put on staking out a faction within your party and ALWAYS working towards advancing it. Even if current leadership from a different faction is succeeding.
It's not a judgement call one way or another on which is better. Just an observation.

It works the other way too. King Tobias III is a direct descendent of King Baldr III of Prydania. So he- and every Prydanian monarch since Baldr III- are descendents of Baldr and his wife, Princess Alexandra of Saintonge, Queen of Prydania.

Almost two weeks after the murder of the NIF's former Director in the city of Zenulvia, Marshall Gustav Hammot, there was a major discovery ever since the beginning of the investigation. After running a series of blood sample analysis, the verdict was clear: the murderer was none other than Ekron Johak, former leader of the Revolutionary Government based on Miccan. Marshall Hammot was on the run after being accused of treason by the Military Junta's provisional government, in July. He supported Werdoi's rule from the beginning and, when the Military Junta occupied the Capital, fled away to a location unknown until now. Gustav Hammot served the country during 45 years, most of these in the Army, until he was invited by the late Emperor Jasemir Kladerai to occupy the vacant spot of Director of the NIF, as the previous occupier, Mirian Galena had resigned in 2008. He helped the government to deal with the housing crisis of 2009 and enjoyed many years of peace until Jasemir's death, when he chose to support Werdoi Danfeh from the start.
Now, with his death, the Civil War days are starting to be left behind. While Werdoi's judgment is still pending and Ekron Johak is still on the run, people's minds are at peace now that the war is finally over.

The national football team does a series of trainings in the Mirai Stadium, Kardenccia. The team has a bunch of newcomers, as some of the players, unfortunately, had died during the civil war. The team's captain, Pelmaron Kertoi, and the former coach, Glausten Heradok, were killed during the Silver Arms' invasion of San Martin, where some players hid from Werdoi's forces as they were accused of treason for their open opposition to his government.
The new coach, Pietro Silvera, and the team's players paid a tribute to the fallen during the training. Instead of wearing the traditional uniform, they wore a shirt with the phrase "Remember the Fallen" written on it. After a prayer for those who died, the players resumed their training. The Empire's Lions is getting ready to fight for a spot at the 2023 World Cup and prove its worthiness.

Craviter Economic Association just slapped the Syrixians with sanctions and a 6-month suspension from the CEA economic community over their election 'irregularities.' I'm going to bet those sanctions and their ensuing economic and social fallout weren't figured into the cost benefit analysis for their election shenanigans.
The next question will be how much of a pinch is going to be felt in the next election cycle when the voters have had a chance to feel the effects of the sanctions and how the politicians involved will possibly try to salvage this snafu.

This result is as historic as it is clear in Esthursia's desire to remain in the UAS, but only on the condition to push for reform from within.
My immediate priority, therefore, will be set on renegotiation with our partners across these continents; I came to the Esthursian public promising to hold the UAS to account regardless of the outcome of that result, and I will carry out that duty. Today marks the 170th anniversary of the founding of our Republic, the abolition of the monarchy, and the nobility alongside it. On this day in 1853, the first president of our Republic and hero of the Revolutionary War, Sergei Kariyev, saved our country from the divided, squabbling Provisional Government that took over the running of Arcanstotska in the 1848 revolution.
I wish all of my fellow citizens a happy Republic Day - a day in equal parts celebration of Arcanstotskan republican ideals and solemn remembrance for the many men, women, and children who lost their lives in the 2019 Republic Day terror attacks.
