Following a vote of 79-17 in Parliament, with 4 abstentions, the Kingdom of Angshire officially ratifies the charter of the IEF and seeks accession to membership within the organization.
 
The Prime Minister's Office would like to inform that the matter of applying to IEF was tabled in both the houses of the Sansad and has been approved there. The PM felt disappointed, no delighted, having to do extra work for the nation.

On behalf of Eywaan, the PM applies for admission to IEF.

THE GOVERNMENT OF LAWSTON,

Having regard to the ratification of the International Economic Forum (IEF) Charter, in particular Article 2 thereof,

Having regard to the Act concerning the conditions of accession of the Lawstoner Republic and the adjustments to the International Economic Forum Charter, the Charter of the International Reserve Bank, and the Treaty for International Financial Regulation,

Hereby we,

STATE our firm intention to enter the International Economic Forum, and ultimately participate in the growing necessity and opportunities of global trade, enhanced by open communication on economic issues and the swift and fair resolution of trade disputes, in order to reduce boundaries between sovereign nations in the spirit of freedom and brotherhood.

STATE our firm intention to enter the International Reserve Bank, and ultimately participate in the growing necessity to provide for developing underdeveloped countries to promote world economic well-being.

STATE our firm intention to ratify the Treaty for International Financial Regulation, and ultimately participate, recognizing the economic crises of the past and the lessons these hold, in the growing necessity to combat the shortcomings of international monetary policy and participate in the international standardization for financial regulation to promote economic stability.

COMMIT to implement in the coming months and in any event before any IEF entry, a number of prior commitments in policy areas, which are of utmost importance for a smooth transition to, and participation in, the International Economic Forum, the International Reserve Bank, and the Treaty for International Financial Regulation.

COMMIT to engage in negotiations to settle any concern from the General Body of the International Economic Forum to ensure accession.

CONTINUE to respect IEF member nations in case the proposed membership for the Lawstoner Republic has failed to secure needed votes in the IEF General Body.

EXPECT the principle of equal treatment to be respected for the Lawstoner Republic.

AND STAND READY, until the important vote in the IEF General Body, to discuss further with the International Economic Forum and the International Reserve Bank to make further commitments in order to achieve a high degree of economic convergence by time of IEF membership.

"After some deliberation between members, we would like to welcome The Kingdom of Angshire, The Lawstoner Republic, The Republic of Saperisole, The Principality of Korova, The Bashime Federation, and The Republic Clans of Sanctuary into the IEF. This brings our roster to 29 member states."
 
The High Minister of the Union of Great Esthursia, on the advice of a supermajority vote in both Houses and the Government's desire, has approved the IEF agreement, and therefore is officially seeking membership in the IEF.
