Hej, and to our non-Goyanean viewers, Hello! This is GRK Newshour. I am Solveig Othurson, live from the GRK Newsroom in Goyanes City.
The Imperial Goyanean Navy has deployed a carrier group to join the PACA offshore of Cimmerien. A total of 7 ships were deployed, including the aircraft carrier HMS Konstantin I. Further news is expected as the situation progresses.
The city of Hosen Sæg, and other far northern areas of the Osanhelt province have been blanketed with 3 feet of snow, as a blizzard moved through over the past few days. The Ministry of Transportation has the road clearing situation under control and about 50% of the city's streets are now clear of snow.
Prime Minister Jon Norberg will be attending a state visit in Ascalon tomorrow for the annual bilateral talks between the two nations. A new economic policy deal is expected to be rolled out, along with a new series of ships to be commissioned to the Ascalonian-Goyanean fleet operations division.
Van Hode University and the National Science Bureau have unveiled plans for their new Magnum-5 telescope, which will be opened within the next year. The telescope is planned to bring unseen astronomical objects into view for the first time, and is a breakthrough for the international scientific community.
In other news, a bear was spotted walking around the streets of a rural town in Kusenhelm. The bear was tranquilized by Animal Safety officials and was safely transported back to Kord Hill National Park.
A new hydroelectric power station has opened in the highlands of Næsser Province, adding capacity and green energy capability to the remote region.
That is all for today's GRK Newshour, thank you, and goodnight.
