Hej, and to our non-Goyanean viewers, Hello! This is GRK Newshour. I am Solveig Othurson, live from the GRK Newsroom in Goyanes City.

The Imperial Goyanean Navy has deployed a carrier group to join the PACA offshore of Cimmerien. A total of 7 ships were deployed, including the aircraft carrier HMS Konstantin I. Further news is expected as the situation progresses.

The city of Hosen Sæg, and other far northern areas of the Osanhelt province have been blanketed with 3 feet of snow, as a blizzard moved through over the past few days. The Ministry of Transportation has the road clearing situation under control and about 50% of the city's streets are now clear of snow.

Prime Minister Jon Norberg will be attending a state visit in Ascalon tomorrow for the annual bilateral talks between the two nations. A new economic policy deal is expected to be rolled out, along with a new series of ships to be commissioned to the Ascalonian-Goyanean fleet operations division.

A new hydroelectric power station has opened in the highlands of Næsser Province, adding capacity and green energy capability to the remote region.

That is all for today's GRK Newshour, thank you, and goodnight.

THE KANADIAN EXPRESS
Hallo readers! This week much has happened across the world that involves our nation. For one, SAA Canada has joined the Pact Against Cimmerian Aggression (PACA) and has condemned Cimmerian. Scalldovia is also being condemned. War tensions rise, but morale never falls.

In other news, Her Majesty Queen Grace II's niece, Kyra Kanad, has married the Nogorian Minister of Defense, Adel Ranolph. This will hopefully bring the two nations closer, and should lead to friendly negotiations in the future.

AN ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE BALEINE KINGDOM

to the INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY and the CITIZENS of BALEINE:

Joyous news has arrived for the Palace today. Queen Annora Simonett of Baleine and King-Consort Marcus Charles of Guslantis have announced that the couple is expecting their first child. While speculation had been fluttering around the Kingdom since the two returned for the December Festival Ball in Imperium Augustum - the two kept everything secret from the media and their families. However, the Queen announced this morning that the newlywed couple was expecting, and that the Queen had reached her third month of pregnancy.

It is unknown at the current moment whether the couple is expecting a baby boy or baby girl, but regardless of the gender the newborn will become the first heir to the Baleish throne. For Queen Annora and King Marcus both, this will be their first child. The newborn will set up a numerous amount of firsts for the Simonetts and Baleine. The baby will be the first of a new generation of Simonett's and Charles'. The child will also become the first Simonett child to be born to a foreign father.

It is obvious, as with all other Simonett's that are in direct line for the throne, that the child will obtain a name that is not shared by any of its ancestors that sat on the Baleish throne.

February 12
The New Government Operation to start being more aware of interior threats has started. It is now illegal to attack another country without government permission because the Nation of Ninhundland was planning to go to war but it wasn't planning on helping Out Anti-Monarchist Rebels in Cimmerien. The Ninhundish government would love too but they don't think that would solve anything and it would just makes things worse because they wouldn't be accomplishing anything. The Fascists and other radical groups are being but to and end if they try and attack other countries. The Nation of Ninhundland has closed its borders completely with non NWU members and has only limited borders since it isn't part of the NWU at the moment. While Fascist groups are still allowed in Ninhundland no group is allowed to do any act of terrorism without permission from the government or else they will be put to death. Some Ninhundish group leaders claim Andrenne is telling rumours about Cimmerien which made them want to attack. Whether or not this is true the government will not take that as an excuse. About 90% of group leaders are being arrested and they aren't making up any excuses. Neighbouring countries such as Jacksonville and Gojanes are allowing some Ninhunders to take refuge while the country is in process of becoming stable. Jacksonville has opened the door to 1 Million people in which 20000 have already called home. Some will stay forever while others are wanting to return back once Ninhundland is more stable. It will take at least until 11 February 2017 for any of this to go into place. This process will begin at 09:00 and is planned to go from now until the end of February. By March the country is expected to be stable again and ready to come back to the NWU.

The Political Shift in Ninhundland has left some in shock and a country spilt. With the Right Party losing the election by a long shot by only having supporters in the south the new "Ninhündisch Arbeeters Partie" which mean Ninhundish Workers Party dominating North Ninhundland along with the province of Küfendach. The province of Gerudo has always been more right wing Ben after the fall of the fascists in 1973 while the Northern Provinces have been gradually shifting farther left. The are still fascists in the North but only National Socialist who still have a Socially Left P.O.V. The loss of Nogori in 2002 was also something Ninhunders don't want to think about since like Gerudo Nogori is much more Right Wing.

February 20
The Ninhundish Government is finding it a real struggle to try to get the nation under control with rebel groups starting up everywhere. The division between the Northern Provinces and Southern Provinces is one of the greatest difficulties along with the minority groups. The Province of Gränzeborg has always been the most multicultural with the majority of the population being Germanic Ninhunders but the Slavic minority who are also considered Ninhunders are wanting more recognition. Negotiations have been made to allow the Grancagrudisch Language a provincial language along side Ninhundish but the Ninhundish government would rather worry about more important stuff at the moment such as putting down rebel groups and dealing with the Southern Ninhunders. Many Southern Ninhunders feel more connected with nearby Nogori due to shared history and because many Nogorians are Southern Ninhunders. The recent storm that destroyed many towns in Nässer and Amsterborg has only added to the struggle and unstability of the nation. The government feels that until the country is stable and secure we won't worry about anything else. Many North-West Ninhunders are now hoping Gojanes will come to their aid. The border has been temporarily closed with Andrenne due to the tension between the two nations. Jacksonville is still accepting refugees and Goyanes had opened the border only for 15000 Ninhunders a day due to recent events. If Ninhunders or Andrennians wish to enter each other's countries they must cross into Jacksonville first.

The Fascists may have fell in 1973 but their influence will never die is a common saying by foreigners to describe Ninhundland because they have no idea how the country works but is that really true. The current government isn't fascist neither are most Ninhunders but does that mean that there's no extremist groups or ethnic tensions. A little bit of Ninhundish History might be able to help answer that question. During the great days of the Fascist Ninhundish Reich from 1912 to 1949 the country was doing quite well with a booming economy but after fighting with Andrenne from 1949 to 1953 things took a turn for the worse. Fascist Andrenne was liberated with Goyanes and Jacksonville fighting alongside the rebels in the war against Nystrom and his Fascist Army. Ninhundland played an important and influential part by fighting with the Allied Anti-Andrennian Fascist alliance but in 1951 Ninhundish Soldiers advanced farther East into Andrenne because Andrenne had invaded them first and the Ninhunders only fought with Goyanes and the Rebels because they wanted to take control of Fascist Andrenne. After 1953 a peace treaty was signed but Ninhundland became very closed off until 1969 when Anti-Fascism started to become popular when the Fascists fell in 1973 it took till 1983 to regain stability and have a decent economy. During the 1990s Ninhundland became allies with the newly formed NWU.

So many Ninhunders are waiting to find out what happens next. With the next NWU elections coming up on February 26 Ninhunders will hold a referendum on February 21. Most Ninhunders want to rejoin the NWU and the government isn't welcome. Southern Ninhunders fear that joining the NWU would just make the North more powerful while the Northerners just want to spread their culture and share it with others.

Many Ninhunders are wondering what the NWU thinks about these following issues. They want help and want to not look like a threat to the NWU.

Should Ninhundland Get a new Government?

What should be done with the minority groups? (Ie Southern Nins and Slavs)

Whether or not the NWU's opinions matter many Ninhunders just want to be seen as stable, friendly, and not like a ticking time bomb. Another election may take place on February 26 if the NWU considers allowing Ninhundland back in. The 3 main parties The Right, The Liberal, and The Arbeeters will be competing. The Right party is popular among the more Conservative South but in the North The Liberal Party is likely to take the win. The Arbeeters aren't likely to last since they are mostly to blame for the recent events. As for the terrorist groups they aren't a problem anymore but the stability of this nation is at risk. The Liberal Party is popular among the Slavs because they are in Northern Nins and are promising more recognition.

Minister of NWU Relations Gloria Rodriguez has traveled to Goyanes to meet with the Prime Minster as part of her tour of the NWU. She arrived in the Goyanian capital this morning and will have meetings with the Government before speaking before the Gojan Parliament later this week. She will also travel to Andrenne and Nogori and meet with their governments and give an address to their respective Parliaments. She is hoping to ensure continuing relationships between Cojedes and the other NWU nations. Following the meetings with the NWU members, there is a possibility that she will also travel to Ninhundland along with the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

In a little less than a month now, the Festival of Lights, known as the Festival de lunes in Cojedan and ????????? ????? in Oronian, will begin. This will be the 128th Festival and this year it will expand to include the city of Ogneygorod. Other cities that will host include: Puerto la Cruz, Falcón, Anzoátegui, and Cojedes City. The festival, which is mostly known for its music, will last between April 2nd and April 10th, singers from Cojedes and from NWU nations, along with our neighbor of Ninhundland will sing in the many cities. Following this Festival, the Festival of the Sun, the Festival of States, and the Festival of Independence will take place. When the Festival of Lights concludes, there will be less than a month until Independence Day, which will be the 528th Independence Day.

Churches all across Cojedes have been preparing for Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. Many people have reported being able to hear a joyful noise coming from the church choirs. We spoke with the Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Cojedes, also known as the Church of Saint Sophia who said his church has been preparing for this for at least 2 months now. "Our choir director has done a great job getting the church ready for the Easter celebration in April. The members of the congregation and myself are prepared to hear what they are going to sing. We invite all people in the community to come and hear not only this choir and their message, but the message of the Savior."

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here at Cojedes 24.

The Imperial Ministry of Defense and the Imperial Goyanean Border Guard wish to announce that the Goyanean-Ninhundish border is being re-opened. We would still like to remind everyone that the border is not and will never be a free-for-all, and passports and proper documentation are required to cross. A new border crossing fee will be imposed as well, to cover extra security measures. The fees are ?200 per axle (20 NSD). We hope that this recent opening of the border can help progress regional stability to a new level.

Genter Leidr
Minister of Defense

Realtions with Gojannes have improved since the land border is no longer closed. Gojannians are expected to pay 25? ($33/?330) per axel to cross the border. The price is more expensive than the other way because Ninhunders have to pay export taxes so the Ninhundish government has tried to balance out the price.

In reaction to this
"a general travel ban is being issued to ninhunders. all currently visiting ninhunders that may have come across from the cojedan border have 3 days to leave andrenne.
planes will be searched by police upon landing for any ninhunders. trains that go across the border will also be checked at their first stop in andrenne.
should a ninhundish government official need access into andrenne they can apply for a government visa"
The Ninhundish government has put a travel ban on all Andrennians.

PM Dominik Hührmann has stated that "Until Olivia Wehrn stops being Ninhundaphobic we will close the borders too for the protection of our nation just as you were doing for the protection of Andrenne.

Cojedes State News Agency/Cojedes 24

Good Evening and thank you for joining us here at Cojedes 24. My name is Yulia Kasarova and here is the nightly news from Cojedes.

Our top story tonight, the House of Representatives and the Federation Council will soon be moving into their new buildings. In early 2011, the Government commissioned for new buildings to be built for the two legislatures due to their large sizes and so that every member would have the ability to having their own private office. The projects, which cost about 75 billion dollars in total, are nearing completion and they are expected to be moved over to the buildings by Mid-April or early-May. The President announced that this morning he is preparing a speech for the opening ceremony of the two buildings. "We are very excited to see the opening of the new Houses of Government. While we are sad to see the old ones go, we will be doing restoration projects on them and preserving them as museums for the citizens to come and visit."

Nico Astanov, who is a member of the Federation Council for the 17th District, and a member of the Patriotic Party of Cojedes, proposed a bill on Thursday that would require Ninhunders to pay 10 Cojedan Fuerte (10 NSD) for each axle on their vehicle. The member announced this following an influx of Ninhunders crossing into the country, many of whom he says crossed in illegally. "We do not have many incidents like this on the Andrennian border. We don't have Andrennians who cross in illegally, but many Ninhunders have in the past few weeks. That is why I propose we issue this fee of 10 Fuerte per axle. While it may not stop illegal immigration, it will give money to the border troops and police to do something about it." After a one hour debate, it was put to a vote in the Federation Council. It was approved in the Council by a vote of 307-118. It was immediately sent to the House, who debated on it for four hours, and then voted on the proposal. In the House, the vote ended up being much higher. 517 members voted in favor, 84 members voted against, and 4 members abstained from voting. The bill, which is entitled the "Cojedan-Ninhundish Border Control Act of 2017" was signed by the President late Friday night. Border Troops have been instructed to collect the fees as of midnight Saturday.

Dmitry Estafan, the son of President Manuel Estafan, announced this morning that he will be donating 3 million dollars to the Cojedan Disaster Relief Fund. Dmitry, who is the Founder of the Patriotic Party of Cojedes, Founder and CEO PharmaCojedes, Chairman of the Federation Council, and a former soldier, announced his decision following a meeting with a Cojedan pastor in the capital Tuesday. He told us, "I was so moved by what the pastor had to say to me that I felt I needed to do something. This is the best that I can do. I hope that this money will go to good use." The Councillor later told us that he also felt led by God to give the donation.

That is all for now. Thank you for tuning in to Cojedes 24.

Good evening, my name is Anna Geldsson, and thank you for tuning into Andrenne News Network. Just one hour ago, Madam Prime Minister Olivia Wehrn came out on public television to deliver a speech, stating that

"...The border is now in a restricted state, and a travel ban is imposed on Ninhunders. All currently visiting Ninhunders that may have come across from the Cojedan border or illegally crossed from the previously closed border have 3 days to leave Andrenne.
Landing planes will be searched by police upon landing for any Ninhunders. Any trains that may go across the border will also be checked at their first stop in Andrenne. Should a Ninhundish government official need access into Andrenne they can apply for a Government Visa..." This, among many other things, were said. The act has been named the "Wehrn Grands-Versikt/Invandrantering Act" or the "Wehrn Border-Control/Immigration Act".

Madam Prime Minister Olivia Wehrn proposed this act to Parliament on Monday, and after 2 days of debate, and the vote on Thursday, the act was passed just three hours ago. Already Andrennian Police have begun searching for and deporting Ninhundish citizens in Andrenne. This, combined with Wehrn's speech, has caused protests to pop up quickly in Kallmo and other smaller cities around Andrenne. Though there has been no violence at these protests yet, we may see them turn to riots in the future. Regardless, Andrenne News Network will keep you updated.

Cojedes 24/Cojedes State News Agency

Good afternoon and thank you for joining us here. My name is Tanya Alexandrova and here is the news from Cojedes.

Our top story today, the Federation Council and the House of Representatives voted to grant the Prime Minister of Andrenne honorary citizenship and to grant the Ambassador of Andrenne to Cojedes the Medal of Freedom. The decision was announced following their achievements to helping Cojedes-Andrenne relations improve. Dmitry Estafan, Chairman of the Federation Council, stated in his dossier to the President regarding the vote, that the two were the best options because of all the work they have done. "Mr. President. I have chosen these two because they have made great strides in trying to make relations between our two countries the best they have been in centuries. It is my honor to recommend the two of them for these high honors." The President immediately signed both the dossier and the law and said that he hopes to have an official meeting with both to present them the award.

The University of Ogneygorod announced an expansion today that would make it have 7 campuses in the country. This campus, which will be called West Campus, will be placed in the far Western side of the city and will include a department of agriculture, law, medicine, social sciences, history, and religion. It is expected that 50,000 students will enroll in the new campus, when it is officially built. The Chancellor of the University announced that the ground breaking will take place on April 17th and that he predicts the school could be opened as early as 2020. "We are very excited for the expansion of our University. This will be our 4th expansion outside of the main campuses that we have had since the beginning."

Our final story, the State Security Council announced earlier today that trade with Andrenne and Goyanes had gone up in the previous month. They further announced that Cojedes will increase trade with both nations, while having to decrease trade with others. No specific nation was mentioned, however it is believed that this was a reference to Ninhundland. The Chairman of the State Security Council, former President Alexey Stefanovich signed the document and sent it to the Presidency who immediately signed it into force.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here.

Good evening, I’m Aletta Hjoed and you're watching Nogori Today. Now let's talk about the breaking news that's happened today.

Today inside of Bergum there was a terrorist attack on the parliament building while it was in session. The police have confirmed that four radical Ninhundish extremists have committed the attack. Two of the gunman were shot by the Keninklike Garde while the other two were severely injured. Nine MP’s were also severely injured including Chancellor Gabriel Ferhalding.

The police have stated that this was an inside attack since whenever parliament is in session no one is allowed to enter or leave the building except the king, other MP’s, and members of the cabinet. The police have stated that this attack was most likely organized by the United People's Party or members of the Socialist Party. Most Ninhundish were removed after the border was closed so most likely these terrorists were illegal aliens let in by inside parties.

Soon after Elizabeth Ruslan, leader of the opposition party proposed a vote before parliament to give the king full executive powers. The vote passed 332 out of 435. Minister Bridge has also stated that the Ministry of Defense would be getting involved.

This morning before the attack King Judicael left Nogori to go see his wife Queen Grace in Kanada. Doctors have said that her health is rapidly declining. King Judicael refused to take any questions about this matter however saying “now is not the time to bombard me with questions. I will release more information when the queen is in better shape and in the meantime I ask the citizens of Nogori to pray for their queen”.

That is all we have right now. Thank you for watching Nogori Today.

NNU Ninhündisch Nürichten Undernemen

Prime Minister Dominik Huhrmann is now accusing the Cojanian State Security Council as being Ninhundiphobic because it was heavily implied that Cojedes is wanting to slow down trade with Ninhundland so that it can improve trade with Andrenne. Although nothing official is been reviled yet PM Huhrmann is starting to dis trust a the Cojedian Government since they might be partnered with the current Andrennian Government.

Riots across both Ninhundland and Andrenne rage on after the Andrennian government put a travel ban on Ninhunders. Many left leaning Andrennians started protesting calling along Ninhunders to join them in Andrenne but just because the riots there are worse it doesn't mean that there aren't any riots in Ninhundland. The Ninhundish Government is now restricting the border crossings between NWU nations who want to trade with each other and is not allowing any NWU trade to go through Ninhundland unless some of the products go to Ninhundland. This will now make it hard for Goyanes to trade with Andrenne since the only other way is via flight.

About 700 Ninhunders that were deported from Andrenne are currently in Cojedes with some of their Andrennian friends.

(Picture not yet created- Thanks for your patience!)

Good evening, my name is Anna Geldsson, and thank you for tuning into Andrenne News Network. In recent news the Ninhundish government has begun to restrict trade through their country, now only allowing NWU trade through their borders if some of the product goes to them. Olivia Wehrn made a statement on the matter a few hours after the Nins put their new trade rules into effect.

"
The idea.. That we would give into Ninhundish demands- is ludicrous to say the least. And the fact that our or our neighbors products would go through their country only to be stopped and be forced to give them our product.. It's piracy at the least..."Olivia Wehrn stated in a televised speech. She also stated, "In response to these supposedly peaceful protests, to the anarchists and the illegal nins hiding among them; should you not listen to police demands you will be forced to disperse or face further action from the responding police force. Please come peacefully. Furthermore, regardless of what your cause is, attacking and pushing back people trying to get through your human barricade and calling them fascists, breaking the windows of shops belonging to innocent shop owners... Do you have no decency?"

The speech lasted about 20 minutes in total and in the end Olivia Wehrn called out the government of Ninhundland to speak to its illegal citizens in Andrenne and tell them to stand down peacefully and surrender so that any more potential violence can be avoided. Until then, the Raloren-Polizei (Riot-Police) are attempting to disperse and quell these riots. These riots have sprung up in Kallmo, Ostbukt, Norrdkuste, Brevstad, and a few smaller cities. Should you live in any of those cities, be cautious, and stay safe. This is Anna Geldsson of the Andrennian News Network, and thanks for watching.

NNU Ninhündisch Nürichten Undernemen

Prime Minister Dominik Huhrmann is considering of taking away the trade ban. It's not a ban on trade and the Ninhundish Government still wants to trade with the NWU but the central location of Ninhundland is making it very convenient for many traders from Goyanes, Andrenne, and Cojedes to drive through. The Government of Ninhundland is no longer accepting part of the products but in return has a fee for any products leaving Ninhundland since the country is allowing Goyanes and Cojedes to trade with each other by going through Ninhundland. Andrenne will not be allowed due to the travel ban and 800 Andrennians living in Ninhundland have either been deported back to Andrenne or to Cojedes.

Many younger Ninhunders believe this is the Andrennian Government's fault and that the Ninhundish Government is just acting in response to it.

The Ninhundish Riot Police are willing to work with the Andrennians to help stop riots across both nations and at the border. The Auprur-Polizei (Riot or Turmoil Police) is glad to work together with the Andrenne Police only to improve relations and make both countries safer. The goal is to prevent riots at the border since many people near the border have either dual citizenship or have friends/family in the opposite country making them be the perfect people to start a riot.

Good evening! I'm Julia Rossmoyne, and thanks for joining us for tonight's edition of Norvalle News.

In international news, Scallendovia's acting president Christine Brooks arrived in Lupagrad, Cogoria today where she is expected to sign an Instrument of Surrender, ending a short-lived but bloody and destructive war between the two nations. President Brooks has stated her intention to sign the surrender without disputing any of the articles, with fears of an immediate resumption of hostilities running rampant throughout the government should she argue for any concessions.

In local news, a Guslantian tourist was wounded and two members of Parliament may lose their seats after a bar fight between them erupted at the Meterran Swallow Bar and Grill restaurant on 17th East Street yesterday. 23 year old Liam McDaniels, according to witnesses, was allegedly flirting with a 27 year old government official when her MP companions responded violently, attacking the man with beer bottles and other glassware. The attackers were identified as Grégory Cormier (Rs-5) of Soissonne and Benjamin Dale (Ro-6) of Athford. Mr. Cormier and Mr. Dale were treated for lacerations and bruises at Tranquility Medical Center before being arrested and charged with aggravated assault while intoxicated. They were released after agreeing to pay 200,000 Livre in restitution each in addition to medical fees. Mr. McDaniels was also treated for glass shrapnel wounds before also being released. No charges were filed against Mr. McDaniels. Speaker Isaac Castellan and Opposition Whip Cicelia Blatherwick both have called for the MPs' resignations.

In tonight's "Royal Watch," we shift our attention to a measure that was introduced in the Chamber of the Nobility with a potential impact on Princess Claidie's monarchy reform package. Baron Silvain Levasseur proposed the Coronation Mandate Act, requiring a Prince or Princess to hold a coronation ceremony within six weeks of their ascension or be considered to have abdicated. The measure was made retroactive to August of 2016 but included a provision to allow Princess Claidie to hold her coronation, which after seven months on the throne she still has not held, within six weeks of the bill's passage. The bill passed unanimously among the nobles but it is not expected to pass the Chamber of the Commoners.

In sports news, the first testing session of the Silien Open Wheel Racing Series was held at Chassion Motorsports Park today. 2016 Champion Lucas Grainger set the fastest time with a 1:27.303, logging 122 laps, while his Coweta Autosport teammate Harmonie Herissida suffered engine problems on her out-lap, leaving her stranded in the garage for the entire session. Maxima Racing's Brycen Carhart set a time only 0.3 seconds behind Grainger, leading to conflicting speculation that either Maxima had finally sorted out their engine performance issues from last year or that Coweta had been sandbagging the session.

That's all the news for today. This is Julia Rossmoyne for Norvalle News, signing off.

Hej, and to our non-Goyanean viewers, hello. My name is Jorgen Svenson, and this is GRK Newshour, live from the GRK Newsroom in Gojannesstad.

We start off our broadcast with news regarding the Ninhundland situation. Regarding a near spat between Andrenne and Ninhundland, PM Jon Norberg offered no comment, but the Stortinget MP for the Gojannesstad Naders district said that "Goyanes will never bend to meet Ninhundish demands."

Today, the Grand Emperor gave Royal Assent to the bill to dismantle the last remaining Hånd van Odin nuclear weapon. Promised by Jon Norberg in his campaign, it was one of the first pieces of legislation to roll through the Stortinget this year. After passing through the Riksdag on Tuesday, Anthony I gave his royal assent this morning. Dismantling is expected to begin next month.

The Imperial Engineers Corps has started construction on the new Laderby Dam, which will provide clean, hydroelectric power to about 1/5 of Laggen province. The dam is expected to be completed within a year. The dam is also expected to only relocate about 30 residents of the Laderby River valley, due to the rather uninhabited nature of the area.

That is all for tonight, we thank you for tuning in to GRK Newshour. Goodnight!

Cojedes 24/Cojedes State News Agency

Hola and welcome to Cojedes 24. I am Maria Consuelos and thank you for joining us here at Cojedes 24.

Our top story, tomorrow is election day here in Cojedes. Local, State, and Federal elections will take place cross country. In local election, cities will elect mayors and generally a council of 9 councilors. In the States, Legislatures and Governors will be elected. The federal will see the election of a new National Assembly. The House will elect 565 members, while 35 will be appointed at a later given date. The Federation Council will elect 419 members, with 6 already appointed for life members. It is projected that the Cojedes Patriotic Party, led by Dmitry Estafan will win a majority in the House and the Federation Council, while the National Conservative Party and the Christian Conservative Party of Cojedes are expected to win in the states and localities. According to the latest polls, the prediction for a CPP victory is well over 62%. Two referendums, the first on the national anthem and the second on the possible adoption of a trade halt with Ninhundland, will also take place during the election. If the first referendum passes, Cojedes will receive a new national anthem. We will bring you election coverage tomorrow.

It is only a few more days until the Festival of Lights and people all across the country are geared up for what will be an exciting few days of music, culture, and partying. We have received word from all of the venues across the country that are hosting celebrations and we have been informed that they are all prepared for the celebrations. Culture Secretary Ilya Alexandrov told us that he has traveled to venues all across the nation and said he thinks this will be the best festival yet. "It is very exciting to see all these people coming together to make this festival the best. I am very excited to see what it has in store for us and I have a feeling the people are definitely going to enjoy it." This year will be the first year that foreign singers will be allowed to participate. Andrennian singers will perform in Cojedes City, Ninhundish singers in Ogneygorod, Nogorians in Santiago City, and Gojan in North Misiones.

President Manuel Estafan announced earlier that a deal had been struck with the Gojan, Andrennian, Cojedan, and Nogorian governments for them to be allowed to us the Santiago-Rodriguez Canal that runs from the Northwest of the country, to the South near Andrenne. This was decided following the Ninhundish Government deciding to stall trade coming through their nation for NWU nations if they were not given a part of the goods. President Manuel Estafan signed the agreement with the ambassadors of all three nations in Cojedes City early this morning and announced that we would not give into the demands of the Ninhundish Government and that we will tell our citizens to stay away from Ninhundland at all cost.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here.

Cojedes 24/Cojedes State News Agency

Good Evening! I am Tanya Garcia and here is the news from Cojedes.

Elections took place all across the country today and the results are in. As predicted, the Cojedes Patriotic Party won a majority in the House of Representatives and in the Federation Council; however, it was a narrow majority with only 5 seats over the needed majority in the House and 2 seats in the Federation Council. Over half (16) of the states went to the National Conservative Party, while localities were somewhat divided between all the major parties. In total, 22 million, or 59.5% of the total voting population, voted in this election, which is one of the highest it has ever been. In regards to the two referendums, the first to change the national anthem passed with 52% in favor, while the second one passed with 67% in favor. The President immediately announced that the anthem would be changed and that the trade halt on Ninhundland would go into effect ASAP. The swearing in of the new House and Federation Council will take place on Monday. It is expected that the Federation Council Chairman will remain the same, but that the Speaker of the House will change.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that former President Gloria Rodriguez has passed away at the age of 92. President Rodriguez, who was the Secretary of NWU Relations of Cojedes was soon to be on her way to Nogori when it was discovered that she passed. The former President had led the country out of the Fascist War and saw the rebuilding of the once great economy and the once great nation. She implemented Conservative policies that many had believe had died out during the Fascist War due to the election of generally liberal politicians. She also oversaw the delivery of humanitarian aid to Andrenne and the end of racism against Andrennians post-war. In her final act as President, she oversaw the closure of "Prison camps" of captured Andrennians. Following a three year hiatus after her Presidential term ended, she rejoined politics by becoming Governor of the Santiago Province. She was then elected to the Cojedes Federation Council in 1979, a position she held to the date of her death. She had also received the Cojedes Medal of Freedom, and the Medal of St. Sophia. In her final days, she was determined to travel to all NWU nations and suspended nations as her final act. Funeral services will be held on April 6th at First Baptist Church in Cojedes City.

Our final story, we were informed this morning that two new ships have joined the navy following their sea trials. The CN "Libertad" and the CN "Justicia" were assigned to their respective fleets, the North and the East Fleets, early this morning. The President was there when both ships were given the insignia's of the two fleets. Both are said to be the beginning of the newest wave of ships for the Cojedan Navy, equipped with the newest technology in missile guiding and missile defense. They are also equipped with the newest radar, and have the capabilities to carry two airplanes or two helicopters. The ships are part of the new Libertad-class Cruisers, with the Libertad being the flagship.

That is all for now. Thank you for joining us here.

OOC: Election results will be fully posted on NS as soon as I can.

August Senator Attempts to Convene Conclave

There has reportedly been an attempt by an anonymous Senator to table a Summons for Election, which would compel the Conclave to nominate an heir to the Crown.

The Senator has utilized their senatorial privilege to table the resolution through the Senatorial Services Tribunal, protecting them from potential retribution by the Lictorial or Divine Service. It is further likely that, were the Conclave to attempt to assert a more active role into Caesar's elder years, there would be attempts by the Conclave to secure the Senator's safety to encourage further dissent in their favour.

There is an expectation that the Conclave will soon issue an official reply to the Summons, regardless of whether or not it passes the Senate.

The selection of an heir would trigger dissolution of the Senate, in order to facilitate the undertaking of a civil war for the throne.

Cojedes 24/Cojedes State News Agency

Good evening and welcome to Cojedes 24. My name is Slava Olyanova and here is the nightly news from Cojedes.

Our top story, President Manuel Estafan announced this morning that the budget of Cojedes has been limited and that the military will be scaled back. He announced that the state security council has voted to scale back the budget to be only 39% of the GDP. The budget was originally much higher, however that number has remained classified. A member of the council, who asked not to be named, said that this budget cut would cause great reform to almost everything in Cojedes, except for Health, Industry, and Social budgets. "We simply do not have the money to afford it. Companies in Cojedes have considered acting as sponsors and some of us are considering taking them up on their offers. We are going to scrap 1 of our aircraft carriers and halt all construction on the third one until the funds have come together." The President also announced that the military would be reduced by 25%.

The Festival of Lights is still going on in Cojedes for 3 more days. It has been a time of fun and excitement for people. According to some, the music has been the best part, while others say the the friendships made here are the best part. Bands from Ninhundland, Cojedes, Nogori, Andrenne, and Goyanes have been participating in this years festival and people have been introduced to the culture of each by it. The Festival of Lights is just the beginning of the 4 festivals that lead up to the Independence Day Celebration. On Monday, the Festival of the Sun will begin and will last for the remainder of the week. People will definitely be surprised for what is to come for this years celebrations.

That is all the news that we have for now. Thank you for joining us here.

Ninhündisch Nürichten Undernemen
The Ninhundish Government has lowed the military from 560k to just 145k in hoping to have more peaceful relations with the NWU. A referendum held showed that 85% of Ninhunders want to remove tariffs and increase international trade with not just the NWU but with Eras.

The Ninhundish Government has made a application for an Embassy in Yalkan.

Ninhundish Hip Hop artists have just made the spotlight in Ogneygorod after performing at the Festival of Lights across the border in Cojedes. The popularity of Ninhundish Culture in Soithern Cojedes is strengthens the ties between the two nations and the Ninhundish Prime Minister Dominik Huhrmann says he can trust the Cojedian Government despite them being politically different.

Cojedes 24/Cojedes State News Agency

Good evening and thank you for joining us here. I am Krista Rodriguez and here is the news from Cojedes.

President Manuel Estafan made two major announcements this morning. The first of the two is that the Governments of Cojedes and Goyanes had reached an agreement to lease an Air Force base to the Imperial Goyanean Air Force. He revealed that this came after days of talks with the government and even hinted that it was an agreement that came from the visit of Gloria Rodriguez to Goyanes last month. The total price of the airbase is 1,299,259 fuerte. This includes the price for the land, the construction of the base, and a 12,500 dollar/per year leasing fee. Construction on the base began this morning. The 2nd announcement that he made was the appointment of a new Secretary of the Department of Agriculture to oversee subsidies for farmers and to ensure that the crops are fit for human consumption. He said that this Department was necessary so that the health of all Cojedans could be ensured when it came to the foods. "The formation of this Department in 1953 was a step ahead for us. I am nominating Aynia Timolova for the position of Secretary of Agriculture." The President submitted his nomination to the Federation Council and announced that it will be included as a Cabinet level position.

This morning, two new ships, and possibly the final two of the year, set sail for the first time. Two more of the Libertad-class Cruisers, named CN Falcón and CN Anzoátegui, set sail earlier today. The Anzoátegui has headed for the port of Isla Diego which is lies on one of the islands in the East near Andrenne. The Falcón set sail to go to North Island which is also near Andrenne. The two ships have gone there to participate in Naval drills with the Eastern Fleet. The drills will take place over the course of 5 days. The ships, which have been given all the latest technology available to Cojedes, cost a grand total of 2 billion for both of them. It is projected that more of the Libertad-class cruisers will be built in 2018, but some believe that with orders already entered, we could see some completed by the end of 2017.

That is all we have for now on this slow news day. Thank you for joining us here.

Annual RLAAF Air Games
Anne Tessaix, L’Informateur De Saint-Cyr

The Royal Lancerian Army Air Force began it's annual Air Games in the province of Massena yesterday. Several units of the air force have and will be competing against each other in a series of dog fights, interceptions, and ground-attack competitions.

"Over the years, these games have put our pilots, planes, and helicopters to the test, giving them valuable practice for the real thing," said a spokesperson for the RLAAF today, "This allows us to continually keep the RLAAF ready for whatever we may be called upon to achieve."

The games will continue for the next 3 days. As per usual, this means the annual Army Air Force Show will be next weekend over the bay north of Saint-Cyr featuring stunts and fly-overs. In addition, many planes will be on display at the Aéroport International de Saint-Cyr including the famed LH-47s Esprit de la Liberté and Esprit d'amour used in the civil war as well as LH-18 fighter aircraft, LH-13 Heracles transport aircraft, and LH-10A Merhorse attack helicopters. A full list of aircraft on display can be found here. Tickets for the aircraft on display will go on sale tomorrow on the RLAAF website.

BREAKING NEWS:

This is a breaking news story from Cojedes 24. We now go live to the National Assembly hall where the President is speaking before the House and Federation Council.

"Members of the Federation Council, Members of the House, and citizens of Cojedes. What I am about to tell you has been a long time coming. This morning, a meeting of the State Security Council was held. In this meeting, it was decided that the Government of Cojedes would trigger Article 13 of the NWU treaty to withdraw Cojedes from the Union. We decided to do this based off multiple things, which I am not at liberty to discuss. We have decided to overlook Section 3 of the Article based on the alliances we already with both Andrenne and Goyanes. We will continue our alliances with both of these countries, just outside of the bounds of the NWU. I have sent a letter the Gojan Prime Minister announcing our decision and from this moment forward, NWU laws will no longer be binding to the Republic of Cojedes."

That is all for now in this breaking news. We now return you to your regularly scheduled programs.

Cojedes 24/Cojedes State News Agency.

Good afternoon. My name is Julia Salvatrova and here is the news from Cojedes.

Our top story this afternoon, the House of Representatives and the Federation Council have voted and passed HB 1206.2017.816 which has decided to abolish the requirement of many states to need a passport or visa to enter Cojedes. The Bill had bi-partisan support in both Houses and the President immediately signed it into force. The Bill abolishes the passport/visa requirement for: Syrixia, Goyanes, Andrenne, Maloria, Yalkan, Visas on the other hand were abolished for Xentherida, Esplandia, and Kanada. The President declared that only an ID will be required for those who get passport/visa free, while only a valid passport with 8 months until expiration will be required for those who have visa free travel.

The building of medical equipment and the use of many different types of medicine, including nuclear medicine, is on the rise in Cojedes. PharmaCojedes has reported a 10% increase in the building and production of medicines in the past few years, including a 2% increase in production of nuclear medicines that help cure cancer. MedSantiago, one of the largest medical equipment producing companies in Cojedes has reported that they have been getting more and more orders for x-ray machines, MRI machines, and CT scanners, as well as blood pressure machines, scales for taking weight, and even having to make vials for to draw blood. They said this has a lot to do with medical trade going on with other countries, specifically with Goyanes, Andrenne, Maloria, and Xentherida. President Manuel Estafan, along with the Secretary of Health and Human Services, Valentina Mendez, traveled to the city of Santiago to meet with the executives of MedSantiago and to tour one of the factories where they make the equipment. The President said he was amazed by everyhting that he saw and said that is was indefinitely a field that people should get involved in. "If we encouraged people to get involved not only in just building the equipment, but actually putting the equipment to use in the hospitals, we could potentially be in a better state than we are now." The CEO of MedSantiago, Christopher Esparosa told us that he will go to high schools across Cojedes and encourage teens to get involved in medicine or the building of medical equipment. "We need more people to be involved in these fields. Teens are the next generation and we must look for their potential and encourage them to pursue this promising field."

People across Cojedes are all ready for the celebration of Easter this Sunday. Easter, which is the day of the resurrection of the Savior, has been a national Holiday in Cojedes since 1497, which means that only hospitals, emergency services, the military, pharmacies, and grocery stores are allowed to be left open. President Manuel Estafan and his family will be attending a service at the First Baptist Church of Cojedes in Cojedes City. It has been noted that most stores have seen an increase in sales in the past weeks due to the Easter holiday. The government released a study showing that clothing, food, candy, and eggs were the most widely sold items during this time. Some stores, that usually make less than 50,000 a day in a regular season, reported making over 100,000 day in the lead up to this week.

That is all we have for now. Thank you for joining us here and we hope you have a blessed day.

Hello, I'm Rolf Bane and you're watching Maloria Today.

First, in Bergum earlier today the Easter Parade carried on as usual as it does every year. This year however the parade was met with several nude protesters. Reports say that five nude protesters barged through the security on bicycles and made their way to the King Elias float. These protesters were quickly and swiftly taken care of before they could do any harm many witnesses also say that these protesters were under the influence of alcohol.

Now in the nation of Cojedes Malorian Standard Oil Company has started to open up it's own branch in Eastern Cojedes. It's been stated by Adel Halbert that the Cojedan Government will build everything for the company. Drilling will start soon.

Now we jump to Ninhundland. MSOC has made a deal with the Ninhundish Government that MSOC will purchase all state and unclaimed oil assets inside the nation of Ninhundland for 12 billion Gelders. So what does this mean you might ask well it's exactly as if sounds. MSOC will be purchasing all Ninhundish state owned oil companies and all unclaimed oil assets. Adel Halbert the CEO and Founder of MSOC has said and I quote “This is a big step towards a better future for both nations.”

Well that's all we have for right now. So goodbye and I hope you all had a wonderful Easter and I hope it wasn't crashed by naked protesters on bikes. You've been watching Rolf Bane, goodnight.

Hello, I'm Rolf Bane and you're watching Maloria Today.

Let's start with Cojedes. Today President Manuel Estafan was ousted by none other than his son Dmitry Estafan. What does this mean for Cojedes, well we don't know either but we do know that on May 1st he will take office. King Marten though has offered Dmitry a chance to meet with him in the royal palace. That is a honor only a very select few receive.

Back to MSOC. Damn, they really have been to work. Today MSOC has invested 3 billion NSD to this new theme park in Helenne. This park is supposed to create an environment that resembles your homeland. They say this investment is going to make the company a lot of money.

Now for Cimmeria. MSOC has also bought all state and unclaimed oil assets in Cimmeria as well. Adel Halbert has also said that this will be 3rd major branch that has been established outside of Maloria.

Well that's all we have for tonight. Goodnight, you've been watching Rolf Bane

THE CALGARIAN BULLETIN
Today in the news, the Prime Minister Johann Leonit gave a speech about the new province of SAA Kanada.

"I am proud to say the the city of Dominion Town has officially become its own province in our great nation, after annexing it from the Scallendovians. It will be renamed Port Rally. The intentions of this port will be peaceful, and it will be used to expand Kanada's trade influence in the area. Over 35,000 people have prepared to move there, and there will be more on the way. I hope that the Scallendovians who have decided to stay will be treated as equals, and to the ones who have left, I give them a farewell."

Another major thing that has recently happened is the Kanadian donation of of 300,000 NSD to the Helennian theme park, "Eras of Helenne".

A major power plant outside of Fort Sean had a power fault, leaving half the city without electricity. Citizens have been told to stay calm, it will be repaired soon.

Our last story is that our dear princess, Grace III has gotten out of the hospital. Her leg wound has fully healed and the person who shot at her, Leo Albertso, has been taken into police custody.

Thank you for watching.

THE CALGARIAN BULLETIN

Today in the news, the power plant damaged yesterday was repaired. The eastern side of Fort Sean has power again. The man who was in charge of stabilizing the energy output was not paying attention, which led to an overheating in the wires.

Today in the parliament building, as everyone was ready to begin, the minister of the Army collapsed, and was taken to a hospital. He had multiple strokes, and on his third one, he passed. He died at the age of 67, and a replacement is to elected in soon.

On a lighter tone, the Calgarian Dreadnoughts beat the Senneran Cliffs 4-2 for the first time in Senneran in 7 years. Until then, Senneran hadn't lost to them in their home rink since they lost 7 years ago, beat 3-2.

The Ninhundish Government has agreed to pay 2.3 Million in a deal made with Cojedes about oil trade. After beginning to import oil from Maloria the Ninhundish Government has allowed Cojedes to export oil into the country.

Ninhundish Prime Minister Dominik Huhrmann has accepted the invitation to a meeting in Cojedes sometime in May.

The provincial governments of Nässer, Ost-Nässer, and Möglen have formed a the Western Ninhundland Act. This is a big movement in the political and economic climate of Western Ninhundland. Since Gamecon 2017 is being held in Muschstad, Nässer from May 1-7. It is planned to be the biggest Gaming Convention the North West Region has ever seen so Western Ninhundland will start to host large events.

As the temperature increases so does the amount outdoor activity. Even though big parties outdoors happen in winter the warmer weather and longer daylight hours have finally came. Ninhundish Coast Guard Ships are still carefully watching the canals from 50km away in the Nässer. Minister of Defence leader Mr. Andrei Straus says "We still fell a bit insecure with Andrenne and their government. I'm not interested in a conflict but the current travel ban on Ninhunders has made us worried. Should Andrenne remove the travel ban we would be less anxious."

THE CALGARIAN BULLITEN

Today in the news, a Sundeonian riot was raging in the streets against Prime Minister Johann Leonit, this early morning. Many Sundeonians disagree with Leonit's beliefs and goals, so this was expected to happen eventually. It started peacefully, with signs and marching, but when they began assaulting Leonit supporters, police were sent to the scene. Kanadian Armed Crime Response (KACR) was sent to the area with riot sheilds and pepper spray. At about 1 PM, the riot began to thin out, and by the end of it all, 22 people were arrested, 14 injured and in the hospital, and one young Leonit supporter was killed, struck in the head with a metal pipe.

The Kanadian modernization of the military was completed today, and a whopping 35 thousand man increase has happened in the army. Weapons have also been upgraded, switching ineffiecient and unwieldy bolt action rifles, with new assault rifles. Helmets are now made of Kevlar instead of pressed steel, and the government plans to purchase more tanks from Andrenne.

Our last story of the day, the opening for Minister of the Army has been fully replaced. Jersom Ichtaldersiden was in the military for 8 years, and saw action at the Fort Sean riots of '98, where 42 people were killed in all out madness.

That's all the news today, thanks for watching.

THE CALGARY BULLITEN

Today in the news, four Kanadian arms factories are being built. Two in Calgary, one in Fort Sean, and one in Senneran. The Kanadian government has hopes to move the main focus of the Kanadian economy from Lumber and Wheat to more modern things such as Machinery and Vehicles. Three of these arms factories won't only build small arms for the Kanadian military, but to also sell to foreign countries. The fourth factory is to produce vehicles.

That's all in the news today, thats for watching.

Earlier today the Cogorian Army paraded through the city of Lupagrad marking the end of the Crown Conflict. The troops paraded before their new monarch Crown Princess Catherine Rokotov, and their stalwart leader Commissar Zhukov. The People's Commissar made a speech to the assembled troops, informing them that for many this would be their final parade, as with their duty to defend the great motherland fulfilled they were being released from their oaths and demobilised. The heroic troops however are not being turned away empty handed, as the state has graciously provided the veterans with land to till and homes to live in.
In response to the dissolution of the People's Army the ministry for defence has announced the formation of a new organisation to defend our great homeland, appropriately being given the title of the Cogorian Guard, this armed force shall take all the lessons learned by the unmatched Revolutionary Guards Brigade and apply them to the new fighting force, creating a force unmatched in strength. The new force will be taking on a total of 182,000 patriotic volunteers to fill the ranks of the different branches of our new fighting force. We wish our men in uniform all the heartfelt thanks of our great nation.

The People's empire is in morning today, as the shock waves of Oktobergrad's death spasms shook the nation. It is reported that at 0600 today, the fuel from the compromised Oktobergrad Power Facility reached the water table, triggering a steam explosion of monstrous proportions. Large portions of the city now lay devastated beneath a radioactive cloud, bringing a painful death to those exposed to it. The Office for State Emergencies announced that this explosion happened despite the heroic efforts of a number of miners attempting to construct a blockade in the path of the fuel, however it is believed that these brave souls became casualties as the fuel entered their sap before they had completed their preparations. Current official estimates put the death toll at 11,000. The OSE say that due to the exertions of their staff the deaths were kept to a minimum as vast portions of the city had been evacuated. Current spread of the contaminant is not expected as specially outfitted water bombers force the radioactive materials to remain at ground level. Efforts are ongoing to determine how compromised the nations water is, however hopes are high as experts theorise the contaminated water was vaporised and forced out into the city through the channel bored by the melting fuel. The Politburo has called for a week of mourning and have opened books of condolences in townships across the nation. Services will be held for the deceased in the coming weeks, with ceremonies posthumously awarding medals fro heroism to the Heroic men and women who gave their lives to limit the damage caused by the Foreign Puppet aggressor.
