The Fate of Suffering Nations

TNPer
As kingdoms are toppled and oppressive regimes overthrown, but the denizens who survive become helpless. The cost of freedom can be fierce.

Without stable government or resources which were previously provided by the state, the citizens of three nations remain scorned and void of a future. In hopes of gaining influence and stability, the nations of Dae'ilah, Seacra, and Luhn request international aid. However, may it also be noted that these nations are weak and easily persuaded. With enough influence you could push the failing states into your own boarders, or perhaps with little to moderate military might, you could conquer the land and save the diplomacy for the weaklings. What will you do to help/hold/have these new aspiring nations?

Some Quick Background

The Theocratic States of Dae'ilah
The people of Dae'ilah, also commonly referred to as Daelish, began as a humble religion in a secular nation. The previous king who ruled the land banned all religion and made the worship of God(s), deities, pantheons, or supreme beings punishable by imprisonment or death. The Daelish people began to worship in secret churches known as Cavern Temples in hopes of remaining hidden as they worshiped their Supreme Goddess Dae'ilah. However, as the churches began to be filled with cement, boarded up, or even bombed, the Daelish people raised a militia against the tyranny before them running the king out of the land. They began smelting their precious metals in the kings castle into trinkets and religious artifacts which are now embedded with jewels and valuable stones. However there is no more currency left to stabilize an economy as it all went into theocratic "funding." Dae'ilah is a nation with high volumes of gold and jewels but refuse to use it due to religious reasons.

ECONOMY: Weak
RESOURCES: Many, Gold + Jewels
EFFICIENCY: Energy and water is scarce. Many building materials
MILITARY: Basic, untrained but large in numbers
GOVERNMENT: Theocracy
DIPLOMACY: Peaceful unless their religion is threatened
INTELLIGENCE: The people are moderately educated

The Anarcho-Tribal Union of Seacra

The Seacran people were once part of The Mighty Empire of Ansow, known for its large government and unquestionable laws. The Secran people were an oppressed majority who were also the natives of the island until the Ansowese military claimed the land as an information hub. The Seacrans were quickly sold into slavery and forced to build aqueducts and wind turbines for the foreign invaders. There on the island the Awonese built what was known as "The Library of International Intel" which is where documentation of The North Pacific which was recorded illegally by The Empire of Awon. Rumor says that any nation that can claim this intel will easily become a political powerhouse. The building remains vacant as the Seacrans have no clue of its use. After a revolt the people of Seacrans returned back to their tribal roots and created many different communities all bound by trade of diplomacy.

ECONOMY: The people rely on a bartering system
RESOURCES: Intelligence
EFFICIENCY: Energy and Water are bountiful, buildings slightly damaged
MILITARY: Scarce but difficult, each tribe has guardians but difficult to unite into an army. Guerilla warfare makes battling them difficult
GOVERNMENT: Anarchy, Tribal Communes
DIPLOMACY: Aggressive to any sort of unified state. Willing to barter with other anarchic or tribal nations
INTELLIGENCE: The people are poorly educated, but the library hold massive amounts of information

The Democratic Republic of Luhn

Luhn is a beautiful nation known for its majestic scenery and clean efficient cities. The people are relatively friendly and the weather is always sunny. After a harsh outcome revolving around the two major political parties-- The Lunar Party and The Apollo Party -- the government went into a complete shutdown and eventually dissolved into nothing. The people were left without lead on the brim of utopia. The modern land of Luhn has potential to become a BOOMING tourism hotspot as it is a naturally stunning nation. However, since the state disbanded, the currency of Luhn has become completely invaluable so economic investments are needed to boost the Luhnians back into the swing of luxary.

ECONOMY: Gone, investments needed
RESOURCES: Natural ores and minerals are unmined but bountiful, claiming will damage matural landscape gurting tourism
EFFICIENCY: Energy and Water are bountiful, modern cities and infrastructure are common
MILITARY: Powerful and equipped with new technologies in warfare
GOVERNMENT: Unwanted Anarchy
DIPLOMACY: Peaceful, need an economic surge, prideful
INTELLIGENCE: The people are very educated

These Nations are looking for international aid in any form so humanitarian nations, send them resources and/or support. Those of you who wish to expand, try your best to claim the nations as your own, but may you be warned EACH SUFFERING NATION CAN ONLY BE CLAIMED BY ONE PERSON! and it is NOT first come first serve, one has to be persuasive and convince the people or fight the people. Or perhaps you can try to bring the previous rule back into power. whatever the case have fun!

The Empire of Northern Scovia has offered economic help for the Democratic Republic of Luhn, as long as they sign a nonaggression pact and a research agreement.

Nebula is open to trade talks with Seacra and is willing to unilaterally send food and supplies. We seek only to protect the delicate balance of a successful anarchic state and we do not intend to bring war to the people.

The Eternal Empire of the Void has offered help to all three nations to help them rebuild their countries and militaries and have offered to protect them from raiders or other nations. But if all else fails with democracy due to raiders or attacks from other nations we will put in troops to help control the chaos and build a democratic based country to help out the people get back on their feet.

On behalf of the Eternal Empire of the Void, I, Emperor Kleon Altrize Cuthlion, athorize troops and supplies to all three nations to help them rebuild.

Sadakoyama is willing to offer extensive medical, educational, and material aid to the people of Seacra on an apolitical, unbiased, and uncompensated basis in exchange for the opportunity to catalogue, document, duplicate, and disseminate the contents of their library/libraries and/or other cultural sources.

The Cogorian delegation was arriving in Dae'ilah, they had been sent by their government to secure a partnership with them. The Cogorians were offering far more than they sought, they were offering to send their engineers in to build dams and reservoirs to help provide water to the land, they offered to build new power stations and lay railway tracks. They were willing to send mining experts to help develop the mines of the land. All they wanted in return was a small percentage of each mineral extracted, including gold.
The biggest offer they pushed however was the construction and expansion of the nation's road network. This they were willing to do for free, as long as the materials were provided by Dae'ilah. They said the road network would make carrying out the other projects much easier, but the real motive was the fact that tanks could travel faster and further on a good road. Once the projects were all complete, the Cogorian government planned to keep asking for more and more gold to pay off the debts the projects would incur, by manipulating the religious views of the Theocratic state, it wouldn't take long for one of their fanatics to attack Cogoria in some for, which would result in a massive Cogorian retaliation.

((OOC I would love to turn this into my Nation's version of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan))

Later after troops and suplplies had arrived in all three nations, the commander in the nation of Dae'ilah, Alec Valdron, had seen Cogorian troops there and had orders from Kleon himself to combine efforts with any foreign nation in the country. So he sent kleon a message that he was going to see about talking to the commander in charge of corgian operations in Dae'ilah but Kleon said go for and said that he was going to send a message to the leader of Cogoria asking if he would be fine with joint operations of rebuilding the nation. Alec then went to talk to the leader of operations in the nation of Dae'ilah while back on Kerianthe, Kleon had sent a message to the leader of Cogoria asking if he would mind doing joint operations with rebuilding the nation of Dae'ilah.

The Cogorian Chairman turned down all proposals made by the empire and ordered the thee diplomatic delegates already in Dae'ilah to do the same and follow a different tack. The delegates made further offers of assistance in constructing Dae'ilah infrastructure, hospitals and an airport were put on the table. Even more enticing was a weapons and training trade agreement. The Dae'ilah army would be sold Cogorian weapns and taught how to fight like a modern army by Cogorian instructors. All this was offered in return for Dae'ilah expelling the Empire from their borders. After all, the unsolicited deployment of soldiers was practically an invasion!

The three men left after the meeting amid assurances that the talks would remain secret. In their shabby suits they did not look like much, but they were three of the most trusted diplomats Cogoria had to offer, aside from those elite few chosen to represent the Nation in the handful of embassies. Meting up in their room in the hotel they began to discuss the day.
"Misha, do you think they will bite?" A 40 year old with his left sleeve pinned to the front of his jacket turned to the youngest of the three
"Well Alexi, we are the less threatening, our Leader sends two men who look like clerks and one cripple to conduct talks, but those monarch worshipping imperialists didn't have the decency to even send a diplomat, instead they send a general and troops. Which would you see as your friend? Three men smiling and offering to help rebuild your nation? Or a bunch of soldiers arriving overnight? Tell the boy Sasha."

The third of the group a grey haired man who would not look out of place on a dockyard let out a short chuckle "What? Like we did with Pelhafor? HA! Well you've got to give it to the Boss, he's learned his lesson.

Misha nodded with a wiry grin "Yes well not to discredit of the Boss, but I feel we have Comrade Wrong to thank for the more thoughtful way that the party is dealing with foreign affairs, I've heard he may be recalled from Ceretis and promoted to minister."

Alexi patted Misha on the shoulder as he went towards his bed for the night "And I hear if our talks go well here Misha you shall be getting the posting! So, while I should not be the one to tell my elders what to do, I suggest we all get some rest, we must conclude these talks quickly. We need to get the Empire out of here and get Misha into his nice new embassy!"

((OOC Kleon, I have no troops in the country, I've got three diplomats trying to organise the plan that I layed out above))

(OOC Corgoria those troops are only there as protection for the country so that way any enemy troops that try to disrupt any operation of help to rebuild the country will be forced back and my actual diplomats are on the way... they are enroute from my planet.... and btw my people are not imperialists fully because we do not wish to extend our power and are part democratic.... and btw if any attack is done I will try diplomatic relations first but I will not let my men be pushed around just saying but last resort is bring in more troops... but I understand your point of view.)

As the commander left the meeting, Kleon had given the order to leave cogoria to their plans and do not interfere unless cogoria attacked. More supplies had landed in the other two nations while diplomats landed in secured areas temporarily controlled by The Eternal Empire of the Void in the three nations. The diplomats were well dressed but one of them, Valik Novan, in the nation of Dae'ilah decided to do his own thing and try to make a deal with the nation Cogoria in the uniform of a country near Dae'ilah that was a well know dictatorship while still trying to act on Kleon's but wasnt going to tell anyone about what he was going to try and do... He then began his journey to the Cogorian Embassy to strick a deal... but it was to late because some of the people in Dae'ilah decided to shoot him do to the uniform he was wearing and caused him to become severely wounded. He then ditched the suit and went back to camp. Meanwhile the other diplomats were sent to the other two nationa to begin the recovery project and strick deals with the governments of the coutries to see what they wanted. Later Kleon had given another order to leave Dae'ilah to Cogoria because he had discovered that they were possibly going to take the country in the long run and wanted to leave them to it for Dae'ilah was already with Cogoria.

The 2nd Republic of Bohseon is offering moderate financial aid to the Democratic Republic of Luhn as well as law and order to restore the country back to it's true democracy. The 2nd Republic of Bohseon also requests more information about the country in order to have more accurate measurements of aid.

The Republic of Jacksonville City pledges to provide economic support for the Democratic Republic of Luhn as well as support Seacra. President Yakovlev will deploy the Jacksonville Humanitarian foundation to ship food and other supplies to both regions.

President Dmitry Yakovlev convened a special meeting of the House of Representatives and Senate of Jacksonville City. In this meeting, it was decided by all the parties of the Federal Republic of Jacksonville City that Dae'ilah would be granted support from the Federal Republic of Jacksonville City. It was later announced by the Presidency that the Blue Star Humanitarian Aid group would be deployed to each to deliver supplies of food, blankets, clothing, water, and medicines. The President also decreed that 500 Jacksonville Marines would be deployed along with the Blue Star to train their Army up into a fighting force. Other government leaders pledged to give money to the Blue Star so that they can send even more supplies. They will arrive in 3 days with the support and will spread out across the region. The President said, "Though we may not have the same religion as the people of Dae'ilah, we do know what it is like to have our religious rights silenced by the government. We will support them, even if the religion is different to our beliefs."

The United States of Molgradea will help all of the nations with their economy and building materials if needed. In return for a share in their resources. We will also like to invite The Anarcho-Tribal Union of Seacra as either our friend, puppet or into our borders.
