OOC: The Black Isle

Syrixia:
If you want you can tell me about the various clans of Cronaal and where they are. I could make a map for you.
There's not specific clans besides the one us, as RPers have been making this past hour.
As said, there are thousands of territories in Cronaal and almost all of them disputed, ruled by different people and communities, they span from buildings to acres of land, they are ruled by town mayors, unusual fetishists, cannibals and even sadistic murderers.
Why hasn't anyone unified them?

I'd assume it's simply not worth it, everyone wants more of the cake than they're allowed to have, so they continue fighting rather than uniting.

What was stopping elements of the former military or government from attempting unification, or at the very least maintaining some semblance of a nation state? In failed states there usually still remains a central government, along with quite large rebel states. It's not free-for-all as if every mayor or authority figure is an irrational agent and starts setting up little kingdoms.

Because there was no army or government, it was essentially destroyed during Queen Diana's rule.

Government in the Smithworks Accident and Military in her fighting, having it as one of the smallest in the region before then anyway.

EDIT: I do see what you mean with larger rebel states though.

You could have a few rebel states that are each significant and large enough to affect the outcome of... let's call this, the Anarchy. They could be states that previously held pro-independence leanings or otherwise are representative of political movements (communists, political Christians, etc.) that existed before.

I'm working on a map as we speak.

The three powers that fucked up Cronaal in the first place, back at it again... this is gonna go great.

Yeraennus is basically going to tell the DU to feck right off while Sphan and his buds solve the problem.

I'm going to experiment with how moderate I want the Antlerio regime to be here, so it might not be the typical "NEBULA STRONK SOCIALISM AND SHIT" response everyone expects.

Syrixia...how did u land unopposed on Cronaal?

And you seriously have cannibals for soldiers?

Also...how is randomly dropping aid across Cornaal going to work? Whos most likely to get it? The ones that need it or the ones ruling the area with the guns? <<<<< This question still stand though.

okay, after re reading the post several times....EDIT

1. How is it unopposed when Kray literally begged for help?

2. Syrixia doesn't. The Mountain Legion does.

3. The aid is mostly being dropped over poor shantytowns and other places in need. Syrixian airlift planes survey the land before they drop the aid.

Jokhmei Dandar...get the reference?
I believe there's a minor settlement of Port Jok'mey somewhere, I believe I gave it to Wolfsea a while back.
Good old days...

One of these days you should do something with the old Eknorvia idea. It was brilliant.

I already uphold the theory that Eknorvia was canon, in an alternate plane.

And could I ask, do you believe Lara is in Ganjarius, or is that your Rodon clan's belief?
Since she's in Oakshire and I've hinted it.

Wait she is? Because the Legion stopped in Oakshire to supply, and the Syrixians are there too.

Perhaps the Legion could think Lara is in Ganjarius and was going there. The Syrixians would probably find her first, though, with their search parties.

I don't mind the Syrixians finding Lara so early, considering the idea I asked you about :).

She's currently doing an independent thingy though, so you'll have to be patient for once.

I'm in the process of making a really ugly map of the larger territories in Cronaal, it doesn't account for townships and small, few-street ones.

Bustos:
Could the map be enlarged? The city names are hard to read.
I view it at a zoomed in view meaning I could take screenshots when completed, I'm not quite sure how to enlarge with the program I'm using - Krita.

The Kaltians will be getting involved to a certain extent so I'll be posting in the thread later this afternoon.

Tolima is one of my nations and is really close by, so I'd be interested in getting involved in this. If you've got any ideas throw them at me Cronaal bro. o/

I don't really know much about Tolima, I believe it's a tropic?

Tropical paradise with money coming out the wazoo due to tourism and basically being owned by certain corporations and stuff. There's a rather large altruism movement in the country.

Sounds able, would definitely be interested if you were to post :3. No current ideas to help you though D:

I keep seeing half written posts being posted.

Stop it. Either save it offline or use a service like google docs if you have to move between computers. It's annoying and isn't helpful to people posting after you.

Yeah, the map's too small.

What do the red lines represent? Also, it would help if the snow-covered regions (the white, I'm assuming) were a different color than the ocean.

If the little island I designated throws up any issues, let me know and I can pick a different island for my peacekeepers to go towards and use as the landing point for them. As for the delay in response, I can easily blame it on the fact that the Kaltians were waiting for the Callaicians and Andalucians who would need a few days to reach the area seeing as they are a good distance away.

Edit: I realize that True Sebland has gone towards the Buskar region in mainland Cronaal. I don't see any issue with the Rose Union laying claim to that island and using it as a forward base of operations.

Barbarossistan:
let's try a bit of RP then, I'll stick a toe in the water and a few ships near Cronaal
Hey Barbaro! Haven't seen you around before. Welcome and feel free to RP. When you have time, you should write up a profile in the national information section, so that other players can have some idea of what their countries are playing with.
