Phrases that should be banned

'I have basic human rights...'

If you're bringing this up in an argument and your not in chains being whipped to death then what you mean is you have basic civil rights. Me yelling at you to turn down your god awful music at 2am is a civil matter and not covered under the UN's Human Rights Convention.

(What is it with New Yorker's and using this as an excuse to be douchebags?)

"I am sorry"...

- "I'm sorry, I am looking for the railway station"
- "I am not angry, look for it quietly."

'I don't know why you're making an issue over this'

Usually said after someone has said or done something that crossed a line.
