Admin Requests

PaulWallLibertarian42:
The Speaker has admitted Genevia and Lenningrad Union to the Regional Assembly can we get them Remasked with RA Permissions? Thank you.
Seriously? You posted ONE hour after Zyvet had posted they were admitted. And then you didn't even spell the names properly? :fish:

Gladio:
Can I please get a security check for Donal De Burca , if he passes give him NPA masking, and give NPA masking to Malvad as well.

Thank You.
Please give Chester Pearson NPA masking.

Thank You.

Gladio, have the admin caught up with your requests? I'm a bit confused by the sequence of posts in this thread.

I have a bug report - not sure if you guys can fix this, or if it needs to go to Zeta.

When I look at the index page, it says that the most recent post in the Delegate's Government forum is a post that r3n made in the forum that's only visible to the Diplomatic Corps. He made the post on (time=1398489660), but the timestamp on the index page is (time=1398662460). There have been other posts made since he actually posted, but not since the time displayed.

EDIT: I've confirmed with another ambassador that I'm not the only one encountering this bug. I've also checked that people who aren't in the ambassador group see the most recent post visible to them with the correct time stamp.

Yes, they have received NPA masking, sorry if I caused any confusion.

Can you please:

1) move all of the contents of the Embassy Applications forum into its ancestor forum Embassy Row;
2) delete the Embassy Applications forum; and
3) edit the description of fthe Embassy Row forum to be "Where the embassies of various NationStates regions are located. Regions seeking to exchange embassies with The North Pacific, apply inside!"

Thanks a lot.
Can you do this please, thanks.
I'm curious, what's the logic behind this one? It seems nice to me to not have to make new regions scroll down through the list of other regions' forums just to enter in their application to have an embassy with our region.
Sorry, forgot about this one.

I think that one less click simplifies the process. The Embassy Row is already a second-level forum, and burying applications yet deeper to a third-level forum makes them less accessible.

Bumping this as it has not been done yet, and there does not appear to be an admin decision on it either way.

r3naissanc3r:
I need to be given whatever special permissions SC members have. Thanks.
You should have this now. Let us know if there areas in the SC that don't work properly, but you should be good to go.

Im not sure if this is an admin duty. But on the "govt" page who ever maintains the public list of governmental officials. Could you please add me in under deputy speaker. I have been in that role for almost a month now. Thanks.

r3n, please be aware that updating the SC alerts page will require Eluvatar since those are maintained on his server. (He also needs to add Ator People and update the Delegate and Vice Delegate with the election results.)

Thanks Grosse. In the meantime, I have my own software for endotarting and watching the region. So I should be able to manage until Elu updates his tools.

Could an admin please update my SC masking? While it is true that I am no longer the chair, I am still a member of the SC. Currently I cannot see the private area of that forum.

I have a few requests. Can you please:

1) Create the following joinable groups: Home Affairs, Communications. They should be invite-only. For now, I should be the only group leader.
2) Create a new forum for "Home Affairs" inside Delegate's Government. It should have the same permissions and moderation as other Cabinet forums.
3) Create one new forums inside Home Affairs: Integration Headquarters. This new forum should be visible only to those in the Home Affairs joinable group.
4) Rename the "Publications" forum inside Communications into "Newsroom", remove its password, and make it visible only to those in the Communications joinable group.
5) Create a new subforums inside Communications, "Editor's Desk". It should be visible only to those in the Communications joinable group.
6) Create a new top-level forum in Port Thel named "Executive Staff". It should have the same permissions as The Docks, and be moderated by the Delegate and Cabinet.

I wll likely be posting more requests in the next few days. Some of them will involve changes to what I posted above---as the new Government settles in, things will be a little fluid. Rather than waiting until everything is finalized though, I would prefer that the above be in place when the new Cabinet is announced.

Thanks in advance!

Something's weird with the new Home Affairs forum. From the top-level, I see this:

Note that the Home Affairs forum appears between C&E and Embassy Row. But when I enter the Delegate's Government forum, I see this:

The title of the forum does not appear, and it looks like it has a whole bunch of moderators. I and others were having the same trouble with the Mod HQ a while back - a problem that may still be occurring.

Hmm...when I look at home affairs it is not moderated by anyone at this point. I believe r3n meant to restrict access to this forum until he was able to get a handle on it.

I'm not sure why you're seeing so many names, but I understand why you can't see the forum.
