This is a survey about roleplaying nations in the North Pacific region. It is not a survey relating to individual users, or anything related to the Delegacy or Government of the North Pacific.

Not true. It shows players a good comparison of what their nation is versus what others think it is.
 
No it isn't. All it does is show players where they think their nation is compared to where everyone else does.

Frankly, considering all the wars Syrixia and others have been in, you're lucky to get on any list and economically you're probably looking at ruin.

If putting the Archlancer Pact down counts as nominating oneself, just remove it, move everything necessary up one place, and assume I didn't fill in the lowest slot. Hope that's okay :huh:
 
I like that even though Sadakoyama holds the most power, we are not perceived as holding the most power.

It's perceptions anyway, so it doesn't entirely matter, as people likely are taking their perceptions from rps and interaction, rather than hard numbers or factbooks. With regards to military especially, its a toss-up, as I could due to OOC contacts with NS on-site military arms makers put up the best armed and equipped military in TNP's history but I choose not to, because I feel like that doesn't make for a good story.

It makes sense that Naizerre has a well equipped military, they fought a three decade long insurgency in their recent history. Nierr is a power projector - as seen in the Coalition on Waterways RP - so obviously naval and air power is focussed on. Tolima isn't either of those things, and its military are amalgamated - along with the police and intelligence services - into a single security force largely focused on border protection and law enforcement.
 
I was surprised to see myself on a couple of peoples' lists. Am I really up there with some of the more powerful nations? I know I have a relatively large military, economy(ish) and soft power rating, but it's not like I've rped that much on here.

It's due to your close alliance with Lanceria and the fact that your straits are central now, rather than on the edge of the region.

EDIT: We ought to conduct this poll every month or so. Perceptions will change. I won't be RPing much so I expect my ratings will drop.

True. I think The United States of New Sekai is either in the middle of it (3) or at the bottom (5)'s rank being the most powerful military in The North Pacific, because I seen Cronaal rank us as 5, (Some odd reason) McMasterdonia rank us as 1, Nebula rank us as 5 and Archegnum rank us as 5 being the most powerful military in The North Pacific. However, I think that ain't all of the result due to fact maybe some of the users done though PM? So the result maybe bit surprising?

Aswell, I agreed with Kannex, we should conduct this poll every month or so.
