Deputy Appointment

I will be reappointing Sankami as a deputy. She is of course the former MoFA from my first term as delegate and a valued senior diplomat in our Diplomatic Corps. I hope that she can lend her expertise to the ministry as we develop our program to improve our ambassadors’ relationships to their assigned regions. This may include a new mentorship program we are considering.
I encourage anyone who wishes to be involved in the ministry to continue to apply for a role in FA, up to and including deputy minister.

Deputy Appointment

I am appointing Scorch as my next deputy minister. The ministry wants to encourage eager new talent who share our mission and I would definitely say Scorch fits the bill after discussing the matter with him. To help us in this effort we need 'round the clock work keeping up with events and assignments, and putting our house in order. Scorch will be invaluable in that effort as he covers the ground Owenstacey cannot due to our drastic time difference. He has also had a good career in the region, from being a newcomer in TNP during Plemby's delegacy to rapidly rising to deputy minister and then Minister of Home Affairs. He has also been a reliable part of multiple executive staffs as well as serving as my first Minister of Communications during my delegacy. He currently serves as a court justice.
Scorch will continue his training by helping us with the internal affairs of the ministry and help Sankami develop our pilot ambassador program. I have no doubt he will give it his all with the same gusto he has in every other job he has had in this region. Congrats Scorch.
As before, I would like to encourage any interested parties in applying for a role in FA, including deputy minister.

Yes the recall ended during the previous minister’s tenure. The ministry is finalizing new assignments. I apologize for the delay, but the process is intertwined with our new mentor program, and we were going to have all assignments announced simultaneously. It looks like we may have to go forward with the confirmed assignments so far and get the rest out when we can, but in either case, expect an announcement later today.Siwale:

New Deputy

I am pleased to announce that current Minister of Communications and former Minister of Foreign Affairs Kasch will be expanding his role in the FA ministry as its latest deputy! Kasch will primarily focus on the communication side of things, ensuring TNL and other dispatches get out to our embassy regions, but he will also assist with staff management, especially right now while we're in a bit of a flux. Happy to have you as a bigger part of the team Kasch!

New Deputy Appointments

I am announcing the appointment of two new deputies. The first is a returning deputy, Owenstacey, now that he is back and able to assist. I don't have to explain his credentials, he's served capably in this role before and we are still working on the base that he helped set in the previous term. We are happy to have him back. The second appointment is a new face to this region, but not to me. Gremblo, perhaps better known as Ivory Rhodes, has years of experience working with other regions as the long-time delegate of the Democratic Socialist Assembly. Our ministry is entering a period of flux and we need an eager, active hand to help us get it moving and I believe he will be a great asset in this effort. I have long prided myself on giving opportunities to up and coming players, as was done for me back in the day. I am confident he will live up to the challenge.

Unfortunately we will also be saying goodbye to Sankami, who is leaving her post as deputy minister. I wish her the best as she also has a lot on her plate, and I appreciate the role she has continued to play in this ministry over the past three terms.

Closure of Embassies

Seeing as the Angirisian Empire, a region we maintain embassies and an ambassador with has apparently disbanded a few weeks ago, we've elected to close embassies. Likewise, Bootsie (the standing ambassador to TAE) is relieved of their posting.

Due to apparently moving entirely offsite, the forum and gameside embassies with Kingdom of Alexandria are being closed. New Babylonians (delegate of the KoA region) was consulted before the closure, and has attested that they're fine with it. I'm happy to hear any concerns, yadda yadda yadda.
