I Learned

I learned that in life, you have to risk in order to gain. One never becomes successful without putting oneself to bait.

Also, I learned Hemingway fell in love with his 26 year old nurse while he was 19 :D

I learned that respect should never be earned, and is inherently deserved by every human being simply for the reason that he or she is a human being. However, it may be lost.

I learned that going through my business competitors' publicly-available work sample portfolios is a good way to poach clients from them. :)

On a related note I've also learned that I am at my best when I am being an asshole. This is true in business, in Nationstates, in love, whatever. This is mostly fine with me since being mean is my modus operandi, but occasionally I will try being nice and it almost universally comes back to bite me in the ass.

lol because of my pictures thread? The first post and a half of that are pictures of Alberta not Montana. :P But yeah they are similar in topography.

I learned it is going to snow this week.

I learned that progress is only acceptable to those who want things to get better. No matter where you go...many don't.

I learned that the "my computer isn't working" and "I've got health issues" explanation for extended forum absences are almost universally bogus.

I learned that you can do something correctly 156,000 straight times without reward but do it wrong once and you will be punished.
