The answer to the second is excellent nocturnal cooling in the Northern Rocky Mountain valleys. Every morning, even when it was 100 the day before, it's cold as a living **** when you leave the windows open. For example, now it's 48 outside according to my NWS-approved thermometer. And no, I'm definitely not using this topic as an opportunity to brag about our pleasent summer weather :P
