Where Am I?

This park is a lot smaller than the famous coaster mecca Cedar Point.
Yet, it is getting warmer compared to Orlando (not the weather of course).
It is pretty good, actually.
 
Geauga Lake (Aurora, OH) is still too big and too well-known and is a little farther awy than Cedar Point (Sandusky, OH).
And Ohio is wrong but not bad.

The venue has a strong connection to the state it is located in.
I would also happy to accept the city which somehow sounds like an Italian liquor.

I have a friend in Sao Paulo, a businessman, who says they have a joke that if the people in Rio ever did an honest day's work, the statue of Jesus would applaud.

Hmm, 'tis the only place where I can remember a film being shot in South America! Which is kind of embarrassing.

Er...Caracas, Venezuela? I think a bit of Scarface was filmed there.
 
Frig me, that took long enough! Do I get a bonus point for knowing the film? :D
