:tb1: Really? Many years ago, I used to read a lot of windsurfing magazines and somehow this reminded me of this river. Googling "River Gorge" and "basejumping" came up with some very similar photos.

Haha, fine thought...but nope! Right continent, wrong country.

Not very far away, there are a castle and a monastery with a nice library...but wait! They do not belong to the town I'm searching, I just thought it might help you...even though...I think the town itself is far more famous than these two.

I wasn't being mean. I was waiting for a city and a country, which you have now provided. And if I must say, it isn't a bad guess at all. It is definitely the right country. :D
