Factoid: Reply speed is very much the rate determining step of any spam slap down. Fast reply increases efficiency by an average of 45% in test forums.
 
Factoid: Indeed. Not to mention the co-efficient of quality flux. ie how much thought people put into their post, which is proportional to the time required to post it.
