I agree with repealing it as the wording is a bit fuzzy. However, the proposed draft totally crosses sovereignty lines. To Mandate any nation to accept refugees? Hardly. It's a right, but do not nations have rights to close their borders, regardless of what the state of their economy is?

I think the poster is referring to the old debate thread re: Resolution in Question. That being said, I reviewed that, and the current thread and yes, there were a lot of discussions and debates about the wording of the resolution per se but hardly any changes save a grammar change. Huh...

I'm all for it, actually. I've been following the debate in the NS Forums and Glen-Rhodes does have a point. There's a lot of problematic things regarding the original resolution. Not to mention the fact that it COULD be used as a tool for brainwashing the masses.
