XenForo 2.2.19

We will be updating the forum again this coming Friday.

I plan to take it offline for up to two hours at around (time=1779490800) for a full backup & update, and then update this topic asking for people to post about any problems. I will first do some maintenance of the virtual server itself, which may mean you won't even be able to get an error page for part of the downtime.

These are the patch notes for 2.2.14, 2.2.15, 2.2.16, 2.2.17, 2.2.18, and 2.2.19.

We may update to 2.3.x in the near future, but that is not the plan for Friday.

The update is complete.

There appear to be slowness issues at this time, which I will investigate tomorrow.

Please post here if you find anything broken.

Slowness seems slightly better after I added some missing extensions and added Anubis.

I found one last PHP extension that we clearly really needed. I hope we should be back up to full speed now.

The downtime yesterday was caused by a side-effect of updating the server (with our newer version of PHP it is complaining about use of deprecated PHP functionality at a rate of gigabytes of log entries per day). I have not yet found a long-term solution, which is frustrating.

We are seeing occasional downtime that doesn't seem related to the update when we have too many sessions for our database settings. I had hoped that adding anubis would help but it doesn't seem to be doing anything. I will try to look into this farther, also.

I have very limited time through Thursday, so there may not be much progress until next weekend.
