Magicality City is not what it once was. Its magic has faded to a dull echo, replaced by uneasy silence and watchful shadows. Ravens gather on every rooftop, the clouds hang heavier and greyer than before, and the air murmurs with quiet tension. Everyone feels it. Something is coming. Rumors spread of a demon that walks among the townsfolk. A demon that hunts under the cover of night, then hides behind a human face by day. No one knows who to trust.
Then, one night, as the city sleeps, it happens. A scream shatters the silence, echoing through every dark alley and crooked street. By morning, the truth is clear. I, the storyteller, have been murdered. Fear takes hold. Doors remain locked. Laughter disappears. Even the children vanish from the streets. Whispers turn to accusations, and suspicion coils around every conversation. If the demon is not found, Magicality City will be swallowed by darkness forever. Trouble is brewing...
Welcome to Blood on the Clocktower!
Depending on your alignment, you must either help the good team win by executing the demon, using logic and intuition. The evil team's objective is to take control of the town and keep the demon alive until there are only two players alive by using lies, deception and sowing misinformation to make the townsfolk believe in them.
For those unfamiliar with it, Clocktower is a Mafia/Werewolf-style social deduction game. It will last roughly one (1) week. If you are at least intermittently active and can reliably respond to DMs once a day, you are good to play - but the more you talk, the more fun it is! Anybody can join, regardless of citizenship or residency. We will be playing it via text which means each in-game day will last a little more than 24 hours. That means you'll be able to chat and share info with each other privately via DMs on Discord or publicly here on the forum. There will be a public chat here on the forum (the town square) and this is where we will hold votes on executions. I'll present more rules when sign ups have closed.

Sign ups are open for a week or until we have reached 15 players. I will be running a beginner friendly script/version which means everyone can join and learn as the game prolongs!
