The Security Council,

Never shirking its duty to warn all fine and upstanding nations of the most outrageous and dastardly among us, especially those who seek to lurk unnoticed and slowly spread their wickedness as far as they can;

Illuminating the criminal and criminally overlooked misdeeds of Davelands, which has fooled numerous regions and lured countless nations into danger and sin under the guise of friendship and friendliness;

Tracing the origins of their trickery to The West Pacific, where they served as Delegate for a seemingly inoffensive and unremarkable period, and revealing this to have been a clever facade allowing Davelands to contribute chaos and confusion to partners and neighbors alike;

Exposing the comforting blanket of banal contributions, including the establishment of long-running cultural touchstones that delighted and engaged the denizens of The West Pacific, such as Today in the West and Coffee of the Day, or the development of its first comprehensive map and repository of regional lore and myth, as nothing more than distractions to build passive trust and acceptance of the more insidious moves Davelands would engage in during their tenure;

Recalling the bait-and-switch tactics displayed in their diplomatic outreach, including:

• The prohibition on cooperation with prominent raider organizations that was revoked before they even completed their service as delegate, demonstrating a partnership that never actually ended and a scheme to confuse and bamboozle concerned regions that were unable to effectively sideline such organizations; and
  
  
• Their pledge to support the new government in Lazarus during its civil war, only to follow through by withdrawing all of The West Pacific’s armed forces from the region and using this as a pretext to engage in diplomatic hostilities with the New Pacific Order, a curious event considering the cooperation between these regions that would follow once Davelands’ mischief came to an end;

Rejecting the notion that unsuccessful attempts to subvert the will of the people absolve the perpetrator of shame and culpability for such an offense, and denouncing Davelands’ role in the brief coup of The East Pacific as the chosen successor to the feckless Fedele and their cooperation in the months previous to weaken regional guardrails and assist the would-be tyrant nation in consolidating its power and influence, including through:

• Mismanaging the roles of Minister of Regional Affairs and Foreign Affairs by draining them of talent and resources, and leaving the successors with nothing of note to build and forcing them to start from scratch, starving the region of substantial foreign relations and internal strength and simplifying the anticipated coup;
  
  
• Failing to adequately perform as Provost, overseeing a Magisterium that at its lowest point contained only a handful of members, and conveniently losing or failing to maintain records of the Magisterium’s work during this period, which involved swift, barely observed enabling acts to further subvert the region; and
  
  
• Coordinating as Vice Delegate to drain the influence of the viziers with strategic and regular violators of the endorsement cap, and therefore making the region more susceptible to the coup;

Convinced that the foregoing actions represent not gross incompetence and carelessness, but malicious, intentional misfeasance, and recognizing this as the most obvious and egregious example of the pattern displayed in their earlier days in The West Pacific, leaving no doubt about their singular purpose to plot and champion evil in subtle and seemingly innocuous ways;

Distressed by the incalculable damage done to the livelihoods and futures of countless nations caused by Davelands’ operation of The Sportsbook, a premier den of thieves and the most prominent promoter of gambling and sports betting in recent memory, but billed as a casual outpost for sports enthusiasts and friendly, stakes-free competition, thereby laundering its corruptive impact under a guise of fun and harmless entertainment;

Unimpressed by their pretensions of humility or irrelevance, belied by their periodic sharing of stories detailing opulent, gourmet meals enjoyed by their denizens, framed as innocent anecdotes and contributions to international discussion of food and culture, but clearly intentional flaunting of their secret wealth and privilege that is never utilized for the benefit of the world around them; and

Resolving that other troublemaking nations of their ilk will now be on notice that their unassuming deceptions will be seen and uncovered by the vigilance of this assembly and a more discerning world, and that this awareness will reject the false modesty and the mishegoss employed by these subversive and disruptive actors;

Hereby condemns Davelands.
