Commend The Order Of The Grey Wardens
Category: Commendation | Target: The Order Of The Grey
Proposed by: Pluvie | Onsite Topic

Hark! Come closer, hear this tale of past…
That which makes the darkest demons quail,
And sparks a primal fear in raider’s souls.
So come, wee lad and listen to our tale.
Spun bravely by so many through the years
And peace you’ll feel to know the Wardens so.

In reverent tongues tis spake the wardens, lo!
Whose vast grey visage epic tis acclaimed;
For peace, twas some, Benevolent Thomas (Thomas), came
And planted strong their flags of griffin’s flight.
With sword and shield the wardens gave their vow
Against the darkness brewed by raiders all…

Witness we the wardens’ gleaming suits,
Imbued with enchantment cast by magic wild.
Twin in magic, Roavin and Vincent Drake,
From them Breeze blew endless ‘gainst the dark.
Gauntlets forged with mana of mage’s forge,
And old Reliant daggers up every sleeve.

A ragtag group of misfit soldiers stand
With moral strong and weapons wielding high.
There on that night invaded Madrigal,
And rooted out the curse of nightspawn all.
With gentle hand, and mercy for the good,
They carved themselves a path of holy fear.

Their names began to spread among the crowds,
Hushed whispers told of burning raider camps.
And in the fields of RaiderCon they hid,
Where raiders had planned the invasion of Portugal.
And so they stamped the raider’s festival,
With thirty soldiers standing ever strong.

Witness we a land for defenders all,
Whose visage was crafted by the wardens’ own,
Where all who fought oppression at every turn,
Could band as one to face the greatest threats.
Tis Libcord this place we now hold near and dear,
Whose presence has alone brought peace and strength…

So with many champions bound as one,
A fearsome force would soon make legend ‘gain.
No longer fit to watch and not impede,
The Wardens began advances through the mist.
Twas not the peace they hoped they’d find out there,
But many a spawn corrupting regions far.

Here we witness the rise of another great;
As the warriors of Tim did take the reins
And with them forged the wardens all anew.
With vitriol a mighty call they passed,
Not to let oppressed fight alone
And so they declared direct hostilities…

Twas dark times when war must be declared,
With raiders’ power growing at every length.
They watched as daunting forces began to pile,
Knowing twas a bloody battle ahead.
But twain’t only raiders who came for blood,
As warden forces stood atop the tide.

Tis in these Choppy Waters we find our tale,
With darkness encroaching ‘cross the land.
They said t’would be the greatest invasion yet,
But wardens had a chance to foil it all.
See raider plans had slipped to wardens’ hand,
And with it came a devious plan indeed.

The raiders’ target first Equestria…
Nay, a hundred defenders stand against that storm.
They move to Anarchy hoping for better luck…
Nay, again a wall of swords does block their path.
Their last ditch effort limps them all to Boston…
Nay, their ships are wrecked before they can spot the land.

Witness we a long day for wardens all,
As two invasions call near twenty each.
In North Africa dost fly black raider flags,
But night turns into day and they are gone.
In Prima Victoria the very next day,
The raiders’ dogs are also whipped away.

Witness we impossible chances here,
Where clouds of shadow gather above Trovons.
The greatest threat the wardens have ever faced.
An army a size the world has never seen.
The whole of NationStates stares from down below,
With bated breath they wait for light to shine…

And shine it did, the wardens’ gleaming blade,
With a force that shattered the raiders’ record hence.
Dozens of wardens hold their weapons high,
With native troops and others by their side.
And when the dust so settles on the field,
Another home is safe again from blight.

Witness we those other wardens brave,
Who wished to make a place for wardens all,
And so began to grow themselves a home.
The wardens’ grew with spoils of war aplenty,
To feed those settlers’ came upon their land,
and from it grew a flourishing populace.

So hence an age did come upon the land,
And with it so, rich politics and culture.
Formed they did alliances far and wide,
With regions shapes and sizes all abound.
Those who believed in the wardens’ peace and strength,
Did join them hand in hand as grow they did.

Yet even as we see this peace expand,
We shan’t forget the warden’s lasting work.
Their quickness chasing, a legend often told.
Their stalwart defense shall not be soon forgotten.
And in the record books where legend is strewn,
The dusty pages sing the wardens name.

These heroes destined’ find themselves in myth!
Their achievements have served our peace for many years.
Stand they worthy of these halls their hallowed praise.

So to mythical warriors these we bow,
And to offer all the thanks we may provide.

The Security Council commends hereby The Order of the Grey Wardens
