NORTH PACIFIC ARMY CAMPAIGNS IN THE WARZONES!
A Brave Team of NPA Commandos and Special Forces prepares to conquer Warzone Australia.
First to go was Warzone Australia, which sported an embassy with the now vanquished Brotherhood of Malice. The operation involved five updaters, and is notable for being the last operation former Delegate and High Command member @Picairn did before his resignation from the NPA. The BoM embassy was quickly closed and the region, which had been marred by years of suppressed posts, was cleared entirely, allowing all to read the RMB without interruption for the first time in years. As the operation progressed, @Comfed swapped out as pointman, followed by @Ornge, who still holds the region at time of writing.
This took over three hours, by the way.
Next was Warzone Airspace, which proved great fun for some of our newer members. Lacking a delegate, two members @norry and @Inven simply walked in and easily secured the Delegate seat away from a few sleepy Regional Officers. Our newer members took lead in WZ Airspace with @Matzerati assuming the seat later on, which is the first time they've ever been a delegate outside of tagging.
Lastly was Warzone Trinidad, appropriately the last region to update in the entire game. It's position in the update made it difficult to raid, and our first attempt to simply walk in was stopped by an attentive raider Regional Officer from the Purple Pony Club. Ultimately the region fell to an update team led by @Cosmic, who was quite busy during the Campaign. The story doesn't end there, however, and Purple Pony Club was back with another update raid which retook and retagged the region. Feeling squirrelly, @Blue Wolf II lead another update raid and retook the region for the NPA once again, this time unsuppressing all the posts in Warzone Trinidad, as he had done in Warzone Australia. WZ Trinidad presented as the most challenging of the targets and NPA had a lot of fun fighting with Purple Pony Club for control.
High Command member and NPA Colonel @Cosmic had this to say about the NPA's Campaign: "Its been a good while since the NPA's last adventure into the warzones. I liked seeing some operations get going for our newer members and they were a lot of fun to take part in!" More plans to take other Warzones, this time by excising Joint Operations with our allies, were sadly cut short as Delegate @Chipoli announced his resignation and the NPA was ordered back to the homeland to support the transition. In total, fourteen of our members participated, a number that surpassed our previous best showing of the year and marking the first time in recent memory that the NPA has held multiple regions at once.
Unfortunately, the NPA Commandos were shut down and dismantled by the Acting Delegate following this operation, but all who are interested in joining the North Pacific Army are encouraged to join the Special Forces instead. In total, fifteen of our members participated, a number that far surpassed our last showing. Give it up for our brave NPA soldiers!
