The Security Council,

Reaffirming its commitment to anti-fascist action as outlined by SC #358,

Deeply concerned regarding the current situation in the region of Alterante, which has fallen under the control of occupying fascists who have locked the region behind a password secret from the natives of the region,

Detailing that the operation in Alterante by outside fascist forces is completely unacceptable.

Emphasizing the strong desire for Alterante to be freed from the malevolent influence of its current occupiers and returned to the rightful hands of the natives,

Determining that swift passage of this Liberation is crucial to restoring Alterante’s rightful autonomy and self-governance,

Hereby Liberates Alterante.

Overview
The resolution at hand is the first (of two) resolution proposals to come to vote to liberate Alterante, a small region that has been invaded by The Eternal Order (TEO), a region considered fascist by many, and with a password imposed, thus denying access to the natives of the population.

Recommendation
The circumstances of Alterante are highly unusual in that the region, during the liberation vote, has been liberated by an anti-fascist coalition largely from Sparkalia. As a result, the very author of this proposal has requested that the resolution be voted down. While we originally recommended in favour of the resolution, passing the proposal now seems unnecessary.

For the above reasons, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs recommends a vote Against the Security Council resolution at vote, "Liberate Alterante".

Overview
The resolution at hand is the first (of two) resolution proposals to come to vote to liberate Alterante, a small region that has been invaded by The Eternal Order (TEO), a region considered fascist by many, and with a password imposed, thus denying access to the natives of the population.

Recommendation
The Ministry of World Assembly Affairs has a long-standing policy against fascist regions and TEO is no exception. Although Alterante is a small region, a liberation to restore native rule is required in this case given the imposition of a password.

For the above reasons, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs recommends a vote For the Security Council resolution at vote, "Liberate Alterante".

As Magecastle's gameside forum posts show there is some signs of native support, but it seems a very small region to start with in the first place, and there are nagging issues regarding the draft.

Changing this back to Present For, having trouble making a concrete decision on this resolution, but I personally believe that since both of these resolutions are trying to achieve the same goal it's useless trying to gatekeep one, especially considering that this one reaches vote quicker.
