Understanding that while it is the deeds of visionaries and pioneers who are most often enshrined to commemoration within these halls, those who endeavor through wind and storm to ensure these feats endure the test of time are just as if not more key to the success of any institution, exemplified by the long and storied chronicle ofThe Crystal leth dealing cabal of Lethen,
Observing Lethen’s beginnings in Great Britain and Ireland (GB&I) and the Land of Kings and Emperors (LKE) in 2006, where they learned the ins and outs of developing a region, serving from within the legislature of each and further working as Minister of Defense and Interior of GB&I, where they began to blossom as a region-builder and worked to safeguard their region in an anarchic world,
Appreciating Lethen’s work in steering their home regions through the chaos that permeated them and helping to guide the Foreign Affairs (FA) of each, an experience that would introduce them to many fellow enthusiastic regional architects — key among them beingThe Europeian grandfather state of King HEM (HEM),
Turning to Lethen’s entrance into the then-newly-budding region of Europeia in 2007 where, alongside its founder HEM, the two worked to distinguish it from their previously monarchic, imperialist homes, and indeed, from any other region; following its transition to a Republic, a jump that doomed most regions at the time, Lethen’s experience in region-building was key to stabilizing the region and allowing it to flourish in its current form, encapsulated by their three terms as President and another three as Vice President in which they moderated countless debates that threatened to pull the region apart and established the norms of the elected executive that would define them in the future,
Celebrating the groundwork laid by Lethen for the future development of Europeian government, serving countless terms within the region’s Senate, including 6 terms as Speaker, during which time they introduced the Parliamentary Procedures Act, which still serves as the foundation for the region's legislative procedural laws today, and created the Public Assembly, a forum allowing citizens to directly participate in the legislative process, culminating in the creations of the Citizens' Assembly and the current People’s Assembly,
Amazed at Lethen’s role as a formative actor in the development of Europeia’s Ministries, including an incredible six terms as Minister of FA where they created the initial structures and systems surrounding ambassadorships and Foreign Reports used today and established key relationships with regions like LKE that guided Europeia’s FA approach for years to come, and two standout terms as Minister of Culture in which they were key in the promotion of Europeia’s media culture and mentoring future regional stars like Drexlore and Seven Deaths,
Grateful for Lethen’s sagacious and compassionate guidance of Europeia, serving both as an anchor for their friend HEM and the region as a whole through difficult periods in time, including:
- stepping up to serve as Supreme Chancellor, a position tasked with the overarching stewardship of Europeia’s democracy, and proving themselves worthy of the position by guiding the region to safety and stability during an internal schism in 2011 that resulted in HEM’s resignation from the post and the painful exodus of many community members to the Library, which eventually led to Lethen’s permanent appointment to the position alongside a returning HEM,
- helping the region stay its course after HEM’s final resignation as Supreme Chancellor in 2016, a role that had been largely shaped around HEM, and redefining the office by virtue of the respect and trust they would eventually hold as a unifying force for the region through eras to come, and
- solemnly and adeptly addressing the region through adversity and tragedy and serving as its pillar of trust through heartbreaking betrayals and losses, working to emphasize and strengthen the bonds of the Europeian community that would see them through to the other side each time,
Admiring Lethen’s further work in overseeing Europeia, also from the office of Supreme Chancellor, where they have worked to inspire each new generation of Europeians and been key in reshaping the office into its current form, serving as a mentor for new Vice Chancellors and working tirelessly after many years to see that the fires of democracy do not flicker, and from their own delegated role in processing citizenship applications, a duty which has been assigned solely to them for over a decade and been completed without fail, representing Europeia as its face to newcomers and onlookers alike,
Certain that Lethen has served not only to build and preserve the foundations upon which so many thrive, but that they have inspired, supported, and served many with faith and honor, and hoping that they may gaze upon the wonders they have helped build and feel proud,
Hereby Commends Lethen.
