Aircraft losses 14 March 2022​

  • Ukrainian Air Force: Ukrainian officials reported the loss of a MiG-29 piloted by Commander Yevhen Lysenko, his fighter was destroyed by Russian Air defences while fighting Russian aircraft near Zhytomyr.
  • Ukrainian Air Force: A Su-25 was shot down by Russian forces in Volnovakha, Donbas region. The pilot, Roman Vasyliuk, captured by Russian forces was later released on 24 April, by a Russo-Ukrainian prisoner swap.
  • Russian Air Force: A Russian Su-25 was damaged by enemy fire, likely MANPADs and manage to return to its base.
  • Russian Air Force: A Russian Orlan-10 crashed in Romania.
  • Russian Air Force: Images of the remains of Russian jet fighter are reported near Chernihiv, later the craft was identified as the remains of a Su-34 Red 35 of registration number RF-95010.
