It has come to my attention that the flag in the canton of the official ambassadorial flag used by the Tusacwyan Embassy in Salurong was one of the proposed designs for the U.F. flag submitted to the Interim Commission on National Symbols (1991-1997).

This particular design was created by Gat Agapa Vaikar, the first U.F. State Herald and one of our country’s most celebrated artists. Although it made the shortlist of designs submitted to the Supreme Batasan in 1994, Gat Vaikar’s “Kalapatiran (doves in solidarity)” flag was ultimately not chosen. Instead, her “10-star” design became the official flag of the United Federation.

The submission of the wrong design during negotiations to establish mutual diplomatic relations was a miscommunication in our part at the Department of State and Security Affairs. On behalf of the Department, I apologize for the inconvenience this might cause.

We have a recent history of War. We had a Syndicalist revolution in 1982 and it ended in 1986. We had a war with Ereion in 1997 which ended in 2003 and resulted in their re-assimilation into our country, They separated from us centuries prior. Additionally, to our great shame we have a history of Fascism, Her Majesty's Government overthrew the Fascist government in October 2017.
Lastly, Her Majesty is keen to bring democracy to our country and ratify a constitution, making our government a Constitutional Monarchy.

We have no history of War. We had no succesful revolutions before, only one failed radical Islamist revolution in 1965 A.D., and a failed radical Racial insurrection in 1999 A.D that was quickly put down. We have been a peaceful, neutral island in our nation's lifetime, with a predominantly stable history. We also have a constitutional system, that sets checks and balances on all branches of government, although His Majesty the Prince still holds average political powers.
