Ah, the Odinspyl. Something that was first proposed three years ago, over a year before I even joined Eras, and has been in the works for years, is finally coming to fruition. A team has been assembled which will organize and operate the long, long awaited event this July. Not only will a summer Odinspyl be held in July, but a winter edition will also be held six months later in January! These two events will eventually be followed up by the 2021 CEFA World Cup. The summer Odinspyl will have 24 sports which will be divided up amongst the organizers who will prepare and scorinate their events. More details on the winter games will be released closer to the event. A timeline for both the summer and winter events has been added at the end of this post, as well as a list of summer sports.

Bidding for the summer Odinspyl is open to any city with adequate facilities. If you are interested in bidding to host, please contact me on discord (@Highton#5752). Remember that bidding to host will follow the same system as was used for the World Cup; the organizers have the right to reject it if they deem it unrealistic or inadequate. The bidding process will be open for five days and will close at midnight on Thursday, May 21st.
